Three years after October 7, 2023, the memory of the Nova Festival victims reached the sands of Ipanema, Brazil. Last Wednesday, StandWithUs Brazil recreated in Rio de Janeiro the memorial that exists at the site where the festival took place in Israel, transforming the beach into a space of tribute and remembrance. Over 350 plaques with the faces of the victims were installed in the sand, accompanied by flowers and the message “6:29 – The moment the music stopped.” Among those faces were Brazilians Bruna Valeanu, Karla Stelzer Mendes and Ranani Glazer.
