A moving billboard in the heart of Mumbai by the Consulate General of Israel in Mumbai thanking Captain Smit Machchhar, the Indian captain who refused to let 174 people die. Captain Smit Machchhar was stabbed multiple times by his co-pilot, Hamam al-Hammami, as the plane plummeted 14,000 feet in under 30 seconds. Bleeding and barely able to move, he made one final push - opening the cockpit door to let Israeli passengers in to overpower the attacker. Thank you Captain Smit. Truly, a HERO! 🇮🇱🇮🇳 via: israelmumbai #short
