Transcript [00:00] Abdul alsad wasn't ready for this line [00:03] of questioning. Take a look. [00:05] >> Um, but we have the United States has [00:06] terror designations on Muslim [00:08] Brotherhood organizations in Lebanon, [00:10] Egypt, and Jordan. So, if you become a [00:13] US senator, will you support those [00:16] terrorist designations of those groups [00:18] in order to support US national [00:20] security? [00:21] >> I think terrorism is the act of [00:23] political violence. So I will support a [00:25] terror designation for any organization [00:26] that is engaged in or committed to [00:28] political violence. [00:29] >> Do you support the designations of the [00:31] Muslim Brotherhood in those countries? [00:32] >> I want to understand show me that [00:34] they're engaged. Any organization is [00:36] engaged in in political violence. I will [00:38] back a terrorist. [00:39] >> So on October 7th, the Egyptian chapter [00:41] of the Muslim Brotherhood called for [00:43] violent attacks against the United [00:44] States, its partners and interests. The [00:46] Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood supported [00:48] Hamas and they threatened Americans [00:51] living in the region and our partners. [00:52] So, do you stand by those designations? [00:54] >> As I said, any organization engaged in [00:57] political violence or calling for [00:58] political violence is engaged in [00:59] terrorism, and I would support those [01:01] designations. That being said, I think [01:03] there is this argument that you try to [01:04] make often, which is that the best way [01:07] to take this problem on is just more [01:08] war. And how has that worked out for us? [01:11] >> So, what's we spent trillions of [01:13] dollars, trillions of dollars? No, the [01:15] war in Iraq, [01:16] >> right? Which which on this channel they [01:18] spent years and years. [01:18] >> How would you have responded? So, the [01:20] war can you answer my question? I just I [01:21] just want to understand has that made us [01:23] safer? Are we more safe because of the [01:25] war Iraq? Are we more safe because of [01:26] the war in Iran? And I think the [01:27] argument here is always more war. You [01:29] got folks like Mike Rogers who I'm [01:30] running against. His argument is always [01:32] there's a war for that. And you know [01:34] what we end up paying for that? [01:36] Trillions of dollars, [01:38] >> thousands of lives of our service men [01:41] and women. Lives that were lost on the [01:43] battlefield. Lives that are being [01:44] destroyed because they're defunding the [01:46] VA as we speak. [01:48] And we're paying more for all of this in [01:50] energy costs, more at the grocery store. [01:53] So, do we really think that [01:55] >> we all know that the reason that we went [01:56] to war in in Afghanistan in particular [01:59] was because we had thousands of [02:01] Americans who were slaughtered just [02:02] blocks. And I understand that. [02:04] >> Would you have not done that? You [02:05] wouldn't have responded. [02:06] >> No, my point is about the war in Iraq. [02:08] And the war in Iraq was one of those [02:09] wars that because we had had a war in [02:11] Afghanistan and Iraq was like next door [02:13] within the same region, we're like, why [02:15] don't we just go to war there, too? [02:16] Supported effort. folks sitting in these [02:18] chairs were justifying that and now we [02:21] have the war in Iran and they told us [02:22] >> war is always controversial. I I hear [02:24] >> no but my point is it's not that it's [02:25] just always controversial. It's that [02:26] you're trying to make the argument that [02:27] somehow more war is exactly what we need [02:30] right now and I'm just saying that more [02:31] war is not what Michiganers need. [02:33] >> I'm not arguing for more war. I'm [02:34] arguing that you have to defend American [02:36] national you haven't told me you haven't [02:37] told me where you stand on the war in [02:38] Iran. You seem to be a fan of war. [02:40] >> I'm I'm interviewing you. I'm not saying [02:41] I'm a fan of the war. I'm giving you um [02:43] I I'm explaining that there is an [02:45] argument to be made that it will make [02:48] the United States safer if [02:49] >> and you were making that argument, [02:50] right? [02:50] >> Because I know that you feel [02:52] differently. So I'm giving you the other [02:53] point of view. [02:53] >> I'm just I'm just telling you what [02:56] argument. I'm just here to interview. I [02:57] talked to Michiganders of all [02:58] Michiganders who supported Donald Trump [03:00] >> on the idea that he was he was America [03:02] first. [03:02] >> There's there's a lot of [03:03] >> that he wasn't going to take us to war [03:05] and that he was not going to waste our [03:07] blood and our treasure on yet another [03:09] war. And here we are eight months later [03:11] and we're still at war. And and the [03:13] argument that he was making was exactly [03:14] the argument that you were making, which [03:16] is that there are threats out there. [03:17] Sure, there are threats, but my question [03:18] is my question is does more war [03:21] >> make more or less threats. And I'm just [03:23] saying that I would rather that many [03:26] share and we see that Napoleon that we [03:27] report on here on this show all the [03:29] time. So, so I understand where you're [03:30] coming from. Fox News, I think, did a [03:32] great job here pressing him on, you [03:34] know, first of all, you know, just [03:36] taking taking money from Chuck Schumer [03:40] when Chuck Schumer is, you know, [03:42] apparently this evil Zo and yet he's [03:45] still willing to go and and take the [03:46] money. So, why did he take the money? [03:48] And then also, you know, him being [03:51] pro-terrorism, pro-Muslim Brotherhood, [03:55] you know, openly, you just insanity. and [03:58] he I think is somebody who, you know, [04:01] despite him being or having the same [04:03] views as mom Donnie, I don't think he's [04:05] going to be able to overhaul this kind [04:08] of list of problems partially because [04:11] his name is Abdul Elsad. I mean, the guy [04:13] sounds like a terrorist. He talks like a [04:16] terrorist. He looks like a terrorist. Uh [04:19] maybe he's a terrorist. Uh, I think [04:21] that, you know, Michiganders aren't [04:24] going to [04:25] elect a terrorist into office. I hope [04:27] so, at least. Uh, obviously you should [04:29] all vote for Mike Rogers if you live in [04:32] Michigan. Thank you for watching and [04:34] I'll see you in the next one.
