Yishai and Malkah get away from the city for a visit to Kibbutz Tirat Zvi in Israel's beautiful Jordan Valley. Tirat Zvi is famous for its dates and kosher meat available all over the world (you might have their cold cuts in your grocery store). It has a fascinating history and its first years involved intense struggle for survival. Now it is a flourishing and fruitful community with many productive and varied businesses. Read about it at their website and get ready to be tempted to visit as soon as possible! http://www.tiratzvi.org.il/english/tabid/66/language/he-IL/Default.aspx A great video for parshat Eikev or any time we are learning about Israel's Seven Species.
