Transcript [00:00] And so I think it's interesting that you [00:01] have this whole chain, right? You have, [00:04] let's say, 7,000 American citizens, [00:07] 3,000 that are living here all the time [00:09] with US passports, and then you got a [00:11] ringleader who is coming here every year [00:14] and is like, "Okay, guys, what what [00:16] provocations are we going to plan this [00:17] year? Let's let's plan some stone [00:18] throwing, some tire burning, some [00:21] you know, some [00:22] Yes. You know, whatever it is, riots, [00:25] arson with the IDF, and then it's and [00:28] then we'll make sure everything the film [00:30] crew is there, the photographers, and [00:31] then those will immediately go to our [00:33] other guy, immediately goes to him, who [00:36] organizes it with all these nonprofit [00:38] Palestinian organizations in the United [00:40] States with millions of dollars, who [00:41] immediately [00:43] get it to the US Congress, Senate, State [00:45] Department, Department of Justice, many [00:47] of whom are already supportive [music] [00:49] of these organizations. And because [00:51] they're American citizens, it [00:52] immediately triggers that response from [00:54] [music] the United States. [00:58] Welcome to the Israel Guys, where we [00:59] believe that in a world of anti-Israel [01:01] propaganda and Jew hatred, you should [01:03] always be connected to the land and the [01:05] people of Israel. We have a really [01:06] special episode this week. I am here in [01:09] the studio with Naomi Kahn, uh [01:12] international director for Regavim. [01:14] You've been on the show before. Very, [01:16] great to have you back, and we have a a [01:18] bombshell report that Regavim has come [01:20] out with recently, and this is going to [01:22] be fascinating for all of our listeners, [01:24] viewers, especially if you're from the [01:26] United States, because this involves US [01:29] citizens living outside the United [01:32] States who just might be exploiting the [01:35] US, and they have Some of them have [01:37] heavy ties to terrorism, especially in [01:40] Judea and Samaria here in Israel. So, [01:41] we're going to get into all of that. Um [01:43] but first, I I have to say, we're [01:45] talking about, you know, a village in [01:48] Judea and Samaria that actually helped [01:50] start this very channel. And if [01:52] anybody's watched this for a number of [01:53] years, in 20 21, I believe, we [01:58] were a very small channel. Nobody had [01:59] heard of us, seen us. We It was even a [02:01] different name. It wasn't the Israel [02:02] guys. And we decided to go into some [02:04] Arab villages. And we went to the the [02:06] city of Rawabi, which is a crazy story [02:09] in and of itself. [02:11] And then we went to Tu Masara. And we [02:12] just drove into the village and we so we [02:15] we have a lot of [02:17] we have a [02:18] close connection with this village. My [02:19] face was even posted on the Tu Masara [02:21] Facebook page with my phone number with [02:23] a warning never to talk to me, you know, [02:26] and we got some death threats, I think, [02:28] from that. So, [02:30] I have I have a close connection with [02:31] this village. And ironically, a lot of [02:33] people have heard of this place because [02:36] I think people call it the Hollywood of [02:38] the West Bank. If you're driving down [02:40] the highway and you see this village, it [02:42] stands out because we're talking [02:44] hundreds of villas, like mansions, three [02:47] stories, four stories, just sprawling [02:50] balconies, you know, a winding [02:52] staircases, swimming pools. Like we went [02:54] into the village, we found the [02:55] state-of-the-art racing stables for for [02:59] massively expensive horses back there, [03:01] you know. We found a whole industry. [03:03] So, it's it's a very interesting [03:05] community. It's in the news a lot. [03:08] And we'll get into that. But [03:11] we I also want to mention one of the the [03:13] fascinating things about when we went [03:15] there. [03:15] And this just goes to show you because [03:18] as your report talks about, which we'll [03:19] get into a second, Tu Masara is often [03:21] portrayed as like this moderate [03:23] community uh a lot of Western you know, [03:27] style people living, American citizens. [03:30] We met South American, you know, Spanish [03:32] speakers there. [03:34] They're they're portrayed as like the [03:35] peace-loving Western style kind of [03:37] village right? [03:38] We interviewed the mayor [03:41] because he didn't realize who we were. [03:42] We did the classic we're Americans and [03:44] we're making a documentary about peace [03:46] in the Middle East. And [03:49] Josh, my brother-in-law, [03:51] from the channel said, "What's your [03:52] what's your biggest challenge as mayor?" [03:53] And maybe the guys can't even show this [03:54] clip. [03:55] And he he let it slip. He said, [03:59] "My biggest challenge is it's is the [04:01] citizens, the residents of the community [04:03] keeping the law." And then he did a [04:05] double take, like a visible double take [04:07] on camera, and he said, [04:09] "Actually, it's the settlers. The [04:10] settlers are my biggest challenge cuz [04:12] they're always rioting and protesting [04:14] and throwing rocks or whatever." But it [04:16] was probably the funniest moment I've [04:18] ever seen on camera. [04:20] And thankfully it went viral. And uh I [04:21] don't know if he's mayor anymore, but [04:23] this was a number of years ago, but he [04:25] literally had to remember the script. [04:27] And in before he [04:29] before he did, he let it slip that like [04:31] settlers are actually not the problem, [04:33] you know, and and this is not an issue, [04:35] but uh [04:36] but then he remembered, "Oh, yeah, I [04:38] have a script and I'm supposed to repeat [04:39] that, so here we go." [04:41] So, I want to get into this report. [04:43] Uh it's a diplomatic brief, and this is [04:44] kind of what Regavim does. And and I [04:46] want people to know like this is you [04:48] guys do serious research, so whenever [04:50] report comes out from you uh about [04:52] issues in Judea and Samaria, I do a lot [04:54] with the Negev. Um and and Regavim is [04:56] all about upholding Israeli law in the [04:58] land of Israel, specifically in regard [05:01] to land in uh Israel, Judea and Samaria, [05:04] the Negev, the desert. [05:06] Um but there's serious research here. [05:07] This is a 40-something page report. It's [05:10] called Tour Mitzion and his faithful [05:11] sons. And then uh specifically mentions [05:14] two American citizens from Tour Mitzion [05:16] uh and how this this this there's a [05:19] narrative about support for terrorism [05:21] and propagation of the settler violence [05:24] narrative. [05:25] So, let's get into it. [05:27] People have heard of Tour Mitzion. [05:28] They've seen Tour Mitzion. They've seen [05:30] the videos. They've seen the riots on [05:32] camera, the stone throwings, violent [05:35] settlers, reported clashes, right, in [05:37] the area. Um but there's something most [05:40] people don't know. And that is [05:43] the majority of this village, this [05:45] Hollywood-like village, is actually [05:47] American citizens. Is that true? [05:49] >> That is more than true. Almost 90% [05:53] of the residents of Turmus Aya [05:56] are American citizens. [05:59] Um and the reason that people know about [06:01] Turmus Aya and have seen Turmus Aya and [06:03] are aware of Turmus Aya and it's always [06:05] in the news is because 90% of the people [06:09] of Turmus Aya are American citizens. [06:11] It's not a coincidence. These two things [06:13] are very closely linked. [06:16] It's a chain that led us to understand [06:20] for the first time how American [06:22] immigration naturalization and [06:24] citizenship laws are being manipulated [06:27] for very specific purposes by these [06:30] people. [06:31] This model that has worked so well for [06:34] Turmus Aya is going to be replicated and [06:36] we're going to see it again in other [06:38] Palestinian villages. But Turmus Aya's [06:41] a really interesting case when you look [06:43] at its history. [06:44] In 1967 when Israel returned to this [06:48] area, [06:49] it was a village that almost was [06:51] nonexistent. There were only about 350 [06:53] people there. Today it has a registry of [06:57] 8,000 residents. [06:59] Um most of those residents aren't [07:01] actually residents. [07:03] >> Right. [07:03] >> They live in many other places and as [07:05] you mentioned, there are some in South [07:07] America. Correct. There are South [07:09] Americans and a vast [07:12] what they call the Turmus Aya diaspora [07:15] in the United States [07:16] uh concentrated in two communities in [07:18] New Jersey and in Illinois. Um [07:21] and [07:23] they come for summer vacations. Uh they [07:26] come for various whatever that the the [07:28] constant population of Turmus Aya is [07:30] somewhere around 3,000. [07:32] Uh those are the people that you'll find [07:33] there in the winter actually living in [07:35] the homes. Most of the homes are [07:37] completely empty most of the year. [07:38] >> Could you say that this is the actually [07:40] become like a uh a vacation / retirement [07:44] place for most of the residents? [07:45] >> Yes, it's a vacation / retirement place. [07:48] However, it's a lot more than that. It [07:51] is um an activism hotspot. Because the [07:55] people of Turmus Ayya hold American [07:57] citizenship, anytime there's an incident [08:00] there that involves [08:02] uh any kind of confrontation, violence, [08:05] harm of any kind, it automatically [08:08] triggers a chain of constituent [08:12] uh [08:13] service [08:15] actions in the US Congress, because [08:17] these are Americans harmed abroad. Now, [08:20] I live in Israel. I've lived here for [08:22] many decades. I also hold American [08:24] citizenship, but there is a difference. [08:26] I I hold American citizenship and [08:29] Israeli citizenship. [08:31] Israel is a recognized sovereign [08:33] country. So, if, God forbid, anything [08:36] happens to me, the United States [08:38] government doesn't have to get involved, [08:39] because there's an intermediate [08:41] government that deals with [08:43] >> Right. [08:43] >> me. [08:43] >> You're sovereign of state of Israel. [08:45] >> am a citizen of a sovereign state of [08:47] Israel, and Israel is uh expected to to [08:51] solve any problems that arise for its [08:53] citizens. But, the Palestinian Arabs of [08:56] Turmus Ayya don't hold any other [08:58] recognized uh sovereign citizenship. So, [09:02] the United States government has to [09:04] intervene. [09:05] And that is being [09:06] >> interesting that I didn't realize, [09:07] because they're they're residents of the [09:09] Palestinian Authority, but the [09:10] Palestinian Authority is not a country, [09:12] so there's no [09:13] >> There's no intermediate [09:14] >> Right. [09:15] >> that can be relied upon. [09:17] Uh it becomes a lot worse. The people [09:19] who are recognized as the leaders of the [09:22] {quote} Turmus Ayya diaspora are [09:25] extremely active in American politics. [09:29] They sit on the boards of a variety of [09:32] Muslim and Palestini- pro-Palestinian [09:35] um organizations. Some of them extremely [09:39] sketchy, some of them that the American [09:40] government has [09:42] limited, restricted, or even shut down. [09:45] Some states have actually recognized [09:47] some of these organizations as clearly [09:50] fronts for Hamas and linked to other [09:52] terror organizations or as channels for [09:54] funding for terrorism. [09:56] But the people who are the the most [10:00] prominent members of this Turmus Ayya [10:02] diaspora in the United States also hold [10:07] office in Fatah, in the PLO, and in the [10:10] Palestinian Authority itself. And they [10:12] are extremely active in lobbying in [10:14] Congress. [10:16] But they're not registered as [10:17] as foreign agents. [10:20] >> Is Is it Is it true too that that Fatah [10:22] is recognized as a terrorist [10:24] organization by the United States, [10:25] right? [10:25] >> Yes and no. It's kind of unusual. Fatah [10:29] was [10:30] listed as a terrorist organization by [10:31] Israel first and then the United States [10:34] as a result. But then when the Oslo [10:36] framework was created, Fatah became [10:39] subsumed in [10:41] in the Palestinian Authority. So [10:43] although Fatah never lost that [10:46] designation, [10:47] it's sort of been whitewashed, [10:49] but it has never changed and it has [10:51] never [10:52] >> is the ruling party of the Palestinian [10:54] Authority and the US has had some kind [10:57] of relations with the Palestinian [10:58] Authority for a number of years. [11:00] >> And Israel. So [11:01] it's a very gray area. And all these [11:04] gray areas invite all kinds of bad [11:06] things to happen. You have people who [11:08] have never renounced terrorism, but put [11:10] on a suit and are now [11:12] >> Yeah. [11:13] >> You know [11:13] >> Oh, for sure. [11:13] >> considered respectable members of [11:16] our partners for peace. [11:18] >> That's crazy. Yeah, that's crazy. People [11:21] I want to get into all of that. I want [11:23] to back up for a second though and and [11:25] start a little bit at the beginning. [11:27] In your report, you say Turmus Ayya [11:29] holds the highest documented [11:30] concentrations of US citizens in any [11:32] non-sovereign, non-territory location in [11:35] the world. [11:35] >> Correct. [11:36] >> That kind of blew my mind a little bit [11:37] that we have [11:39] 3,000 [11:41] US citizens, passport hold- holders, [11:44] some of whom [11:46] uh have have hardly spent any time in [11:48] the United States who now, you know, [11:51] basically they're they're a Palestinian [11:52] Arab under the Palestinian Authority for [11:55] all intents and purposes, but they're [11:57] still holding that passport because they [12:00] went to the United States in the '60s or [12:02] '70s or '80s under, you know, the [12:04] immigration law, made it very easy for [12:06] them, and then they left America, and [12:09] then they had children, and their [12:10] children automatically became US [12:12] citizens. So, [12:13] >> Correct. [12:13] >> you have these this very weird dynamic [12:16] of people who are living in this town, [12:18] and now [12:19] they're exploiting the fact that they're [12:22] US citizens because they know anything [12:24] that happens, uh whether it's [12:26] terrorism-related or not, or whether [12:28] they're terrorists themselves, is going [12:30] to catch the attention of the US [12:31] government, and they're going to, you [12:33] know, receive support. [12:34] >> Correct. [12:34] >> And uh we'll talk about the the [12:37] congressional reports and the Senate, [12:38] you know, getting involved, the State [12:40] Department. [12:40] >> Right. [12:41] >> But, this this is kind of wild, and I [12:42] don't think most people I don't think [12:44] anybody knows about this. [12:45] >> Correct. That's Most people don't know [12:47] about it. Actually, no A very, very [12:50] small number of people know about it. [12:52] We're hoping to change that. That's why [12:53] we presented this report to the US [12:56] ambassador here in Israel [12:58] to make him aware of this, but again, [13:01] the process itself of naturalization, [13:03] citizenship is not unusual. The scope of [13:07] it in this one concentrated village is [13:12] what is unusual, and the impact that [13:16] that village is having is having on uh [13:20] on US law and on US-Israel relations [13:23] is way out sized. So, we began to ask [13:27] exactly how that happened. And it's [13:29] clear that it's not a coincidence, [13:30] right? [13:32] I would just point out that it's not [13:34] 3,000 people, it's 8,000 people, and [13:36] they come and go at will. [13:37] Um and [13:39] >> talking 8,000 people that 80 to 90% of [13:41] them are US citizens? [13:42] >> 90%. Yes. [13:43] >> Even so, even the the ones that live [13:45] here, the ones that don't live here. [13:47] Residents of Tour Messiah, they have [13:48] homes here, whether it's a vacation home [13:51] or they live here [13:52] >> all year round. [13:52] >> Exactly. They're registered as residents [13:53] of Tour Messiah, and for all intents and [13:55] purposes, even when they're not here, [13:58] they're here. They're registered as [13:59] living here. [14:00] The fact that they have American [14:02] passports enables them to come and go [14:05] pretty much anywhere, [14:06] at will. And so, we have one of these [14:10] one of the figures that we focused on in [14:12] this report is a person who, during the [14:15] summer months and [14:17] in the in the early fall, when the [14:19] harvest begins, you will see his face in [14:22] the background of pretty much every [14:24] confrontation [14:25] with IDF forces or Israeli communities, [14:28] because he comes from the United States, [14:31] uses the fact that he has an American [14:32] passport, and shows up or either stages [14:35] himself or joins in on in all of these [14:39] confrontations. And if anything gets out [14:41] of control, automatically it's reported [14:44] to his member of Congress [14:47] back in the United States, and then has [14:49] to start an investigation and [14:51] investigate charges of persecution by [14:54] the Israeli authorities. [14:56] >> Which is something interesting, because [14:57] the IDF and the Israeli police, they [14:59] know how to deal with terrorism, [15:02] violence, [15:05] you know, when they're especially, you [15:06] know, they're dealing with Palestinian [15:07] Authority residents. But as soon as [15:08] somebody whips out that American [15:10] passport [15:11] >> It's a whole new ball game. [15:12] >> I mean, I don't know, 10 times harder, [15:14] because they're basically, "I'm an [15:15] American citizen, you can't touch me, [15:17] you know." And like you're saying, we'll [15:19] get into it, but there's documented [15:20] cases of of American citizens being [15:22] involved in terrorism, right? [15:24] >> Correct. So the Turmus Aya one is a very [15:27] famous one and it had massive massive [15:29] impact on Israel. An entire unit of the [15:33] IDF was sanctioned by the Biden [15:36] administration [15:37] >> The next year the battalion was [15:39] >> Exactly. As a result of what happened at [15:41] Turmus Aya 2 years ago in April 2024 [15:46] uh an an American citizen, a 14-year-old [15:48] boy was actually killed by IDF fire. Uh [15:51] when he was throwing stones and [15:53] attacking motorists on the road right [15:56] outside Turmus Aya. Now, this boy is an [15:58] American citizen. His name is Amir Rabbi [16:01] and Amer Rabbi and he had essentially [16:07] he had American citizenship. His parents [16:09] had American citizenship. He lived his [16:12] whole life [16:13] virtually his whole life uh in Turmus [16:15] Aya. [16:17] Had very very little connection with [16:19] America, with Americanism, with the [16:21] values of the United States. Um he is a [16:24] Palestinian and uh was encouraged uh to [16:28] go out and throw stones at Jews. That is [16:31] that was his activity. He was killed in [16:33] the process. Um [16:36] This this automatically launched an [16:39] American condemnation of the IDF, a [16:42] sanction and censure and sanction of the [16:45] brigade that was on duty at the at that [16:48] place. [16:48] >> Not that it would have made any [16:49] difference. Who was there? [16:51] >> The these are you know, it's part of the [16:53] IDF. [16:54] >> Right. [16:54] >> Um and it and it ended up resulting in [16:57] sanction of the entire unit. [17:00] And then the following year the madness [17:03] continued because to commemorate the [17:05] death of this 14-year-old boy [17:08] the village of Turmus Aya held a [17:10] memorial ceremony and dedicated a park, [17:13] but um [17:14] announced in advance of the memorial [17:17] service that called on everyone to come [17:21] turned to the American Embassy before [17:23] the event and said we need protection [17:25] because the settlers are going to attack [17:27] us when we do this memorial ceremony. [17:30] Um, and then [17:33] on all of their internal Facebook pages [17:36] and all of their village [17:38] um [17:39] all of the village platforms they called [17:41] upon people immediately following the [17:43] ceremony to emulate this martyred [17:46] 14-year-old and go out onto the road and [17:49] throw stones. And that's exactly what [17:51] they did. And then the second violent in [17:53] incident uh the the the what was [17:56] misreported even by the Israeli media at [17:58] a certain point saying that it was [18:00] settlers who were stoning cars. So [18:03] eventually it was rescinded and the and [18:05] the story became clarified but the [18:06] damage had already been done. Of course. [18:08] retract story you know especially the [18:10] news yeah. I like to say that reports of [18:13] settler violence come on your screen [18:15] with a roar but they limp off your [18:16] screen with a whimper because the [18:18] retraction and correction is on page [18:20] 80-something in tiny little print and no [18:22] one cares cuz the damage [18:24] is already done. The narrative is out. [18:26] news organizations when they're forced [18:27] to retract something they don't care [18:28] either because they know nobody's going [18:30] to read it. Nobody's going to pay [18:31] attention. [18:33] I read that story and I thought it was [18:34] really interesting because it's a really [18:36] good example of what happens so often is [18:38] you have this story and this that was [18:40] this year as I understand it is [18:42] basically [18:44] you know there's there's a an event [18:46] happening um and they actually got the [18:49] IDF and like you said they notified the [18:51] embassy but they got the IDF to show up [18:53] and provide protection right? And then [18:56] they go on the back end and tell their [18:57] own people to go out and riot and throw [18:58] stones and then it's reported in the [19:00] media as settlers correct settler [19:02] violence throwing stones right? And just [19:05] just to reiterate for people [19:08] because there's a 14-year-old that all [19:11] was sparked by the 14-year-old that was [19:12] killed by the IDF. [19:14] You know, you said he's throwing stones [19:16] on the road at motorists. Um, I don't [19:18] remember the the name, but there was a a [19:20] 2-year-old or a 3-year-old baby number [19:22] of years ago that the stone was thrown [19:24] through [19:25] uh her parents' windshield and she was [19:27] killed. [19:28] >> Yes. [19:28] >> Um, stone throwings are lethal, [19:31] especially when you're throwing them at [19:32] cars driving 50 miles, 60 miles an hour. [19:35] >> Correct. I'd also like to point out that [19:36] when they say stones, it's a it's [19:38] another one of these whitewashing terms [19:40] because it's generally boulders, [19:42] um huge bricks, [19:45] meaning [19:46] construction materials or whatever. [19:48] >> Mhm. [19:48] >> Um [19:49] years ago when my husband was serving [19:51] not far from here in reserve duty, uh [19:54] he the before they went up to Mount [19:57] Eval, [19:59] they were given [20:01] explicit instructions by the IDF. Uh if [20:04] they throw small rocks, do that [20:07] continue. If they small throw bigger And [20:09] these is soldiers, [20:10] >> Right. [20:10] >> they throw bigger rocks, then you have [20:11] to do this. If they throw larger things, [20:14] including refrigerators, [20:16] meaning when they say stoning, this [20:18] could be an actual physical refrigerator [20:22] that they toss off the roof of a house [20:24] onto the roads below the house to try to [20:26] kill people. This is attempted murder. [20:29] Unfortunately, all too often it's not [20:31] just attempted, it is actually murder. [20:33] And many, many Israelis have been killed [20:36] or seriously maimed. [20:38] >> Unfortunately, yeah. [20:40] >> By what they call stone throwing. It's [20:42] not, you know, kids throwing pebbles at [20:44] to break windshields. It's it's [20:45] attempting to kill people. [20:46] >> And unfortunately, it's sad. And I mean, [20:48] to be honest, you could call this child [20:49] abuse by this 14-year-old's parents, um [20:52] because it's it's their fault and it's [20:54] the Arab culture's fault for [20:55] brainwashing him from the time he was a [20:57] child. But it's sad, but a 14-year-old [21:00] that's killed by a IDF fire is [21:02] unfortunately it's it's not something [21:05] that, you know, the IDF cannot ignore a [21:07] 14-year-old with a boulder in his hands [21:09] dropping it off of a bridge onto a [21:11] windshield, you know. [21:12] >> Correct. [21:12] >> Um, they're they're in an impossible [21:14] situation. I [21:15] had a soldier, one of the D9 operators, [21:18] that first guy in the first D9 into [21:20] Gaza, on the podcast and he said, "What [21:22] do you do when you have a 4-year-old and [21:24] a 5-year-old with a Hello Kitty backpack [21:26] that come out and block your bulldozer?" [21:29] Because unfortunately, the chances are [21:31] are very high that they have a bomb in [21:34] their backpack. [21:35] >> And this is an old story. I won't We We [21:37] don't have to go into it now cuz it's [21:38] not our subject, but a report just came [21:40] out about why it is that the casualty [21:43] figures from Gaza have a preponderance [21:46] of deaths of 14- and 15-year-old boys [21:49] and zero deaths of 14- 15-year-old [21:51] girls. Because afterwards, they come out [21:53] and announce that those 14- and [21:55] 15-year-old boys are actually child [21:57] soldiers. It's a massive recruitment of [22:00] young [22:01] teenage boys by Hamas. Most of their [22:03] fighters or a very good percentage of [22:05] their fighters either were killed [22:08] in in the war or ditched and ran away. [22:12] So now to fill in their ranks, they are [22:15] recruiting child soldiers. But [22:17] teaching children [22:19] jihad, teaching children hate, [22:21] anti-Semitism, violence, and terrorism [22:24] is an essential part of the educational [22:27] curriculum, the cultural [22:29] milieu in which these children are are [22:31] being raised. [22:33] And [22:34] I would just stress that it is number [22:36] one, one of the very first things that [22:38] the Palestinian Authority was required [22:40] to change when it signed the Oslo [22:43] Accords in 1995 and has never done that. [22:45] Quite the opposite. They glorify [22:47] terrorists. They call them martyrs and [22:49] turn them into heroes and teach children [22:51] to emulate them. So [22:53] the the 14-year-old at Tomas Ayash no [22:56] exception unfortunately to that rule. [22:58] >> Yeah, it's very unfortunate but a [23:00] 14-year-old can be a terrorist just as [23:02] much as a 40-year-old. Um and that it's [23:04] it's awful when it's child abuse, but [23:06] it's what Israel's faced with on a daily [23:07] basis. [23:08] I want to get back in get into the meat [23:10] of this report. [23:11] >> Mhm. [23:11] >> Um [23:13] just a couple synopses of what we're [23:15] talking about. We're talking about Tur [23:17] Musaya, full of American citizens. And [23:21] so people understand what's happening [23:22] when a US citizen is killed or harmed [23:24] anywhere in the world, like you're [23:25] talking about, especially if they're not [23:27] a citizen of another country, it [23:28] automatically triggers a chain of [23:31] reactions in the the US government. Um [23:33] you got Department of Justice, um [23:35] Congress might get involved, State State [23:37] Department. And this is kind of [23:39] automatic cuz the US cares about their [23:41] citizens and they have a duty to protect [23:43] their citizens and to defend their [23:44] citizens, right? Um and it it doesn't [23:47] require going in, you know, lobbying US [23:50] Congress and going and talking to your [23:52] senators, right? Writing letters. [23:54] >> It's it's automatic. They're going to [23:55] come to the aid of American citizens, [23:58] right? [23:59] >> Correct. [23:59] >> Um and [24:00] I'm an American citizen. I live in [24:02] Israel, but I'm not an Israeli citizen [24:04] as well. I'm a I'm not Jewish. I'm a [24:05] Christian. So if something were to [24:07] happen to myself or my family, I would [24:09] hope and expect that the US government [24:11] would come to my aid and come to my [24:12] defense right? [24:13] >> Correct. [24:13] >> Um but Tur Musaya is [24:18] a village in what the world calls the [24:21] occupied West Bank, which is even though [24:23] they tout themselves as a uh moderate [24:26] village, it's actually a a hotbed as we [24:28] just talked about with the story of what [24:30] happened this year. Um but every [24:33] incident, no matter what the truth of [24:34] the situation is, triggers a automatic [24:37] American political crisis. [24:40] >> I'll just point out that um Tur Musaya [24:42] has actually one of the most active [24:45] local Fatah branches [24:47] anywhere. [24:48] Uh they are completely identified as a [24:51] Fatah community. [24:53] >> [snorts] [24:53] >> Um and the people who are part of this [24:56] Tur Musaya diaspora the United States [24:58] are members of Fatah, some of them [25:01] office holders in Fatah, and they don't [25:03] hide that fact. [25:04] >> That's really interesting cuz I've been [25:05] into a lot of the Arab cities and towns, [25:08] and I would say out the least scared [25:09] going into that town, and now, you know, [25:11] I'm I don't really go into them anymore [25:13] any of the villages anymore cuz [25:15] >> Good. [25:15] >> people know us a little too well. [25:17] Um but you would think, you know, I [25:19] drove into Qalqilya once. It was drive [25:21] in, drive out. I didn't get out of the [25:22] car. But been in Ramallah and Nablus. [25:25] Like you would think these places would [25:26] be like the hotbeds, right? But you have [25:28] this beautiful sprawling village of [25:31] three-story, you know, mansions and [25:34] it's a it's a network of Fatah. [25:37] >> It also relates to uh other studies that [25:39] we've done. [25:41] Very specifically about the myth that [25:44] Israelis for very, very long time [25:46] believed, and that is that if you [25:47] improve the economic uh situation of the [25:51] Palestinian Arabs, they will be more [25:52] invested in coexistence. [25:54] >> Right. [25:55] >> Uh you know, give them something to live [25:56] for, and they won't try to kill you. So, [25:59] for many, many years, we gave more and [26:01] more and more work permits, including to [26:03] people from Gaza, from Judea and [26:05] Samaria, etc. We tried and and what we [26:07] found is an exact correlation of the [26:11] rise in their GDP, in their economic [26:14] situation, and the rise of terrorism. [26:17] The more money they have at their [26:18] disposal, the more they use it to carry [26:21] out acts of terror. Uh Turmus Ayya is no [26:24] different. It's super wealthy [26:26] >> on Yeah. [26:27] >> West Bank standards. I mean, I I am I [26:29] can only be envious of some of the [26:30] villas that you have going on there. [26:31] You're talking about 15-bedroom homes [26:35] with, you know, all the modern [26:36] amenities. It They're They're paradise, [26:38] right? And that's why they're great [26:39] summer homes for Americans who come [26:41] over. Um [26:43] you have but [26:45] it doesn't stop them from being [26:46] interested in carrying out terrorism. It [26:48] does not encourage coexistence, quite [26:50] the opposite. [26:52] >> So, just to give people an an idea of [26:55] how much of a response from the United [26:58] States this is triggering, [26:59] you have since 2022 four formal Senate [27:03] letters that have been sent to the [27:05] executive branch of the US government [27:06] regarding American deaths near Tur [27:08] Messiah. Um now they're being and now [27:12] they're they're saying each one is being [27:14] signed by more and more senators and [27:15] they're sent quicker and quicker and [27:16] quicker. Um there was one from March of [27:19] this year has 31 Senate signatures. [27:22] You have [27:24] um [27:25] the Secretary Blinken in 2024 getting [27:27] involved, legislation against this it [27:30] was called the West Bank Violence [27:31] Prevention Act with 100 congressional [27:33] co-sponsors. [27:34] >> Right. [27:35] >> Um [27:37] how how is this becoming such a huge [27:39] thing in the US government? [27:40] >> Again, it's not a coincidence. It's [27:42] becoming a huge thing because [27:44] >> We'll get back to the rest of today's [27:46] podcast in a second, but first I wanted [27:48] to take a second to share a way you can [27:50] actually make a difference for Israel. Now, back to the [28:53] rest of today's podcast. [28:55] >> Because the people who are [28:58] behind all of this [29:00] are dedicated solely to this. Again, you [29:03] know, the famous Arab um [29:07] saying, "There's two ways to bring down [29:09] a tree. One is with an axe and the other [29:11] is with a worm." [29:12] >> Mhm. [29:12] >> So, there's the axe and that is the [29:14] frontal attacks. And then there's the [29:16] worm. That means getting on the inside, [29:19] um chewing up the values, chewing up the [29:21] roots, [29:22] uh erasing the identity of that tree, [29:24] and replacing it with something else [29:26] that is toxic. And that is that's how a [29:28] worm takes down a tree. And that is how [29:30] the Palestinian narrative, the jihadi [29:33] narrative, is taking over um or making [29:37] huge inroads into [29:40] American law and uh American policy. [29:44] >> Let's talk about that a little bit cuz [29:45] there's a network of organizations, [29:47] American probably at least some of these [29:49] nonprofits, I'm sure, maybe all of them. [29:52] Um you have the US Palestinian Council, [29:55] USPC, the Palestinian American Community [29:57] Center, PACC, American Muslims for [30:00] Palestine, AMP, and these organizations [30:03] have direct connections and we'll talk [30:06] about their leaders and and uh some of [30:08] the the notorious uh [30:10] people from Tour Moussaieff who are [30:12] spearheading this in a minute. But, [30:14] these organizations have that direct [30:16] connection, [30:18] um [30:18] and then every time something happens, [30:20] it's instantly transmitted to them and [30:22] I'm sure there's a lot of money and [30:23] funding behind it. [30:24] >> Huge. [30:25] >> And these guys are making sure [30:26] everything's filmed, documented, and [30:27] immediately goes to the US government. I [30:30] remember when my my name and photo and [30:32] phone number was posted on [30:34] Tour Moussaieff's Facebook page, I [30:36] started chatting like on whatever [30:38] Facebook Messenger whatever with their [30:40] Facebook page, and I don't know what [30:42] their name was, but I'm 100% sure it was [30:44] an American in the United States cuz [30:46] they had perfect English. [30:49] Um they were responding very quickly. I [30:50] was not chatting with somebody from Tour [30:52] Messiah. I figured that out very [30:53] quickly. So, even their Facebook page [30:55] is, you know, run by Who knows? Maybe [30:57] one of these organizations. [30:59] >> They're very professionally run, and [31:00] they're run by people who are sitting in [31:01] the United States, um have essentially [31:03] unlimited funding, [31:05] and unlimited access. There are members [31:08] of Congress because these the the Tour [31:11] Messiah diaspora is such is concentrated [31:14] in the United States in a very [31:16] particular area in Illinois, [31:19] the members of Congress understand that [31:21] that that those are the people who [31:22] elected them. Those are they answer to. [31:24] Those are the people who are going to [31:25] vote them back in next time. And so, [31:27] they are completely that the door is [31:29] open to anything the Tour Messiah dia- [31:32] Tour Messiah diaspora has to say. [31:34] >> Right. [31:35] >> Uh and it doesn't require any checking [31:37] or anything else. It doesn't matter if [31:39] it's false. It doesn't matter if it's, [31:41] you know, a complete inversion of the [31:44] facts of the case. [31:46] It requires a response and an immediate [31:48] response and [31:50] that is [31:51] exactly how you build this up. [31:53] >> Right. [31:54] >> What's strange is Tour Messiah is [31:56] different than pretty much everywhere [31:58] else because it is essentially an [32:01] American colony that has not been [32:03] declared as such. It is an American [32:05] colony in an incredibly high [32:08] high conflict area, [32:11] um with a very very peculiar set of laws [32:13] or lack of a set of laws that conduct [32:17] that that [32:18] frame everyday life there, and the [32:21] American government has no ability to [32:24] rein that in or to advise people not to [32:28] move there or whatever else. It it's [32:30] it's a very peculiar situation, and it's [32:32] a situation that we are beginning to see [32:35] uh replicated in other Arab villages. [32:38] So, uh we're seeing the spread of this [32:41] sort of concentrations of American [32:43] citizenship. None of them have reached [32:44] 90% yet like Turmus Aya. [32:46] >> All right. [32:47] >> but some of them are past the 60% mark. [32:50] >> Right. And I I would imagine villages [32:52] like Taybeh, the the the famous [32:54] Christian village, right? Some of that. [32:56] I know I went there. I went to the the [32:58] beer factory and everyone's speaking [32:59] perfect English, like American English, [33:01] you know? We met uh someone who she [33:04] lived in America most of her life and [33:05] just now moved back. [33:06] >> Correct. [33:07] >> Before we get to the uh the individuals [33:09] who are kind of front and center in this [33:12] story, the some of these organizations [33:15] are uh very sketchy, to to say the [33:17] least. So, the PACC was formally [33:19] referred to the Department of Justice [33:22] for investigation under the federal [33:24] material support for terrorism statute, [33:26] and that happened in 2025. Uh they [33:29] hosted a convicted uh PFLP, that's the [33:32] Population for the [33:33] >> Population for the Liberation of [33:35] >> Yeah. Pop sh- [33:36] >> Popular Front. [33:36] >> For the Liberation of Palestine. [33:38] >> Correct. [33:38] >> Uh [33:39] a terrorist, basically they hosted [33:40] terrorist as a speaker at at one of [33:42] their events. [33:43] >> Correct. I'll I'll point out to you one [33:44] thing you probably didn't know, that the [33:46] mayor of Turmus Aya that you sat down [33:47] and spoke to back then, he was actually [33:49] a convicted terrorist as well. He was [33:51] elected to be mayor of Turmus Aya while [33:54] he was still in an Israeli prison. [33:56] >> I think I heard that. [33:57] >> Yeah. So, [33:58] this people voted him in while he was [34:00] still in prison as uh an expression of [34:03] their values. And this should have [34:05] raised some alarms. [34:06] >> A lot of people don't realize is if you [34:08] become a terrorist under the Palestinian [34:10] Authority's reign, then you are like [34:13] bumped to the top of the list for a [34:14] government job, a position, [34:17] uh yeah, you're very popular in [34:20] elections like [34:21] >> Correct. [34:22] >> most of the population, they love their [34:23] they love their terrorists. Um [34:26] AMP, one of the other organization, is [34:28] facing currently facing six legal [34:30] fronts, a pre-trial lawsuit for Hamas [34:32] era financing, a uh [34:35] a state AG investigation, Senate [34:37] Committee investigation, IRS non-profit [34:39] status challenge, joint filing from [34:41] three US states, and an October 7th [34:43] victims lawsuit. So, they're in hot [34:45] water. And then [34:47] the other or [34:49] also one of their board members, Salah [34:50] Sarsour, was arrested by ICE this year [34:53] and is currently, I think, awaiting [34:55] trial and and [34:57] Secretary Rubio is seeking his [34:58] deportation and as I understand that his [35:01] story is basically ties to terrorism [35:03] from the early '90s and went to the [35:06] United States probably looks like he may [35:08] have lied on his green card application [35:10] because of [35:11] basically got citizenship to the United [35:13] States [35:15] without under false pretenses without [35:16] them knowing about his terrorist past. [35:18] And now that's all coming out. So, some [35:21] sketchy things happening by the [35:22] organizations that are representing the [35:25] American citizens of Torah Moshiach. [35:27] Every time something happens, [35:29] ties to terrorism. Many of these [35:31] incidents are involved involvements in [35:33] terrorism. [35:34] Let's talk about the two individuals [35:37] that your report specifically names [35:39] because they're kind of the Would you [35:41] say they're like the leaders of this [35:43] campaign? [35:43] >> the face of Torah Moshiach. [35:45] >> So, Imad Ad-Dean Barghouti [35:47] >> Yes. [35:48] >> Believe it or not, lives in Memphis, [35:49] Tennessee. [35:50] >> Yes. [35:51] >> Doesn't even live here [35:53] and he served time in Israeli prison [35:56] during the first Intifada for for [35:57] terrorism. [35:58] And he's very proud of it. [36:00] >> Oh, yeah. [36:00] >> Holds an official role in Fatah, which [36:02] as we mentioned is a designated [36:04] terrorist organization. [36:07] He's a board member US Palestinian [36:09] Council, documented meetings with [36:11] Mahmoud Abbas, PLO vice president, [36:14] Palestinian foreign minister. And he is [36:17] perceived as a moderate peace-seeking [36:19] diaspora figure, but he is an organizer [36:23] in the on the United States side with [36:24] many of these organizations, [36:27] But he's also publicly documented [36:29] supporting terrorism. [36:31] His his social media is filled with [36:34] content glorifying martyrs, terrorists, [36:38] praising the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, [36:40] which is the terrorist arm wing of the [36:43] PA, right? Of Fatah. [36:45] And [36:47] he may be in violation of of US law, [36:50] right? [36:50] >> I think that he should certainly be [36:52] investigated for violating US law. [36:55] I think the grounds of his citizenship [36:57] should also be carefully looked at, but [37:00] he certainly [37:02] um [37:02] is an extremely active lobbyist while at [37:05] the same time holding an official [37:07] position in Fatah and and is not [37:10] registered as a foreign agent. That's [37:12] also a possible violation that needs to [37:14] be looked at. [37:16] He is a very very influential and more [37:19] and more members of Congress attend the [37:21] events that he stands at the at the [37:25] front of for these what you've called [37:27] sketchy organizations. And [37:29] >> Yeah, members of Congress who attend [37:32] events that are hosted by these [37:35] terror-linked [37:37] American nonprofits should also be [37:39] investigated if you ask me. [37:41] >> 100%. Yeah, I mean he he is is [37:43] organizing events. There's the I don't [37:45] know what was an event in Memphis. [37:46] People are dancing to songs glorifying a [37:49] the a terrorist attack from the 1960s. [37:52] >> That's the founding moment of Fatah. [37:54] That it's not just some random terrorist [37:57] attack. It is the attack that was that [38:00] is considered the founding the founding [38:02] event of Fatah. [38:04] These are not coincidences. [38:06] >> So this is a guy that's publicly not [38:08] hiding it. This is not something you [38:09] have to dig for. It's on his Facebook [38:11] pages. It's on his TikTok pages. It's on [38:13] his social media. He's publicly [38:16] representing and supporting terrorism. [38:19] And he's in [38:21] basic basically he's he's receiving a [38:23] lot of support from congress members [38:27] US government. [38:27] >> Correct. And he's also the essentially [38:29] the tripwire. When something happens to [38:31] our Messiah, the tripwire for this [38:34] cascading [38:36] American congressional series of [38:39] responses anytime something involves an [38:41] American citizen. He's essentially the [38:42] point. [38:43] >> the guy that's responsible. Something [38:44] happens, he's making sure everything is [38:46] immediately documented, things are sent [38:49] going to the congress. [38:50] >> Yes. [38:51] >> Uh and other branches of government too, [38:53] State Department, Department of Justice [38:55] probably. Um [38:57] And then we have the other guy, Mashal [38:58] al-Kook. [38:59] >> Yes. [39:00] >> Um who actually lives here part part of [39:02] the time. [39:02] >> No. [39:04] They're all registered as co-owners, but [39:06] he comes for the summers. He lives also [39:08] in the United States. [39:10] Uh he has a long history of supporting [39:12] terrorists and terrorism going back to [39:14] Saddam Hussein. [39:16] Um he [39:18] and Hitler. Uh but he is an active [39:23] proponent and and apologist and um [39:27] glorifier of Hamas, of October 7th, of [39:30] the quote-unquote armed resistance, [39:33] which means terrorism. [39:35] Uh and he is also actively involved in [39:38] confrontations all over Judea and [39:40] Samaria. Every summer when he shows up [39:42] here, expect to see his face in the [39:44] news. [39:45] >> So he's an instigator. [39:47] Um and also I read in your report that [39:49] he's so extreme that the Palestinian [39:51] Authority arrested him in 2017. Which [39:54] takes a lot. [39:55] >> [laughter] [39:55] >> Like for the Palestinian Authority to [39:57] arrest you because you're so extreme, [39:58] that that's [40:00] >> Well, they have a they have a whole lot [40:01] of internal intrigue, but he essentially [40:04] um [40:05] he went he went a step too far. He's [40:07] again that PFLP, the Palesti- the [40:09] Popular Front for the Liberation of [40:11] Palestine, which is an extreme Marxist [40:14] terrorist organization responsible for [40:16] the deaths of lots of Americans, lots of [40:18] Israelis, and others. [40:21] Um [40:22] he's he's anti-American. And he's an [40:24] American [40:25] >> an American citizen. [40:25] >> He's an American citizen. Don't know how [40:27] he got to be an American citizen. [40:28] Somebody on the other end should [40:29] probably look into that as well. But he [40:32] is an active agitator [40:35] uh and also part of this entire scheme [40:37] that turns this American [40:40] colony in in in the Binyamin region into [40:45] um I would say uh [40:47] the switch that turns on a cascade of uh [40:51] congressional action against Israel. [40:53] >> Right. [40:54] So, he regardless it doesn't look good [40:56] on your record, I'm sure, to be have [40:58] been arrested by the PA, right? At some [41:00] point. [41:01] >> That's how we see it. [41:02] >> Right. [41:02] >> The way they see it, [41:04] it's a badge of honor. [41:05] >> Who cares, right? But uh I thought it [41:07] was interesting his release was [41:08] championed by the I don't know how you [41:10] say this, Samidoun [41:11] >> Yes. [41:12] >> Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network, [41:14] which they have a pretty [41:15] >> They they are [41:17] they are sanctioned they are officially [41:19] recognized as a terrorist organization [41:21] by the United States, by Israel, by the [41:23] European Union, uh and others. So, you [41:27] >> have an organization designated and [41:29] recognized as a terrorist organization [41:30] that championed for the release of an [41:32] American citizen from PA prison. It's [41:34] just like people to wrap your mind [41:37] around this kind of stuff. But he's like [41:39] he's he seems even worse than the than [41:41] the uh the Daboub guy because he's not [41:45] he's publicly expressing support for [41:47] October 7th, Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, the [41:49] Houthis, Saddam Hussein, Khamenei. Um [41:52] he's call you know, coming against [41:55] President Trump, right? But [41:57] >> guy. [41:57] >> he goes a step further. He's the guy [41:59] He's the boots on the ground guy, right? [42:00] Every year he's showing up. He's [42:03] organizing [42:04] uh provocations with the Israeli [42:06] communities Shiloh surrounded [42:08] communities. You're saying if something [42:10] happens his face is definitely going to [42:12] be in the photos and photographs, right? [42:13] >> for his face in the background. He's the [42:15] kind of guy who's not going to step up [42:16] to the front of the camera, but he's [42:18] there. [42:19] >> Right. And so, I think it's interesting [42:20] that you have this whole chain, right? [42:22] You have let's say 7,000 American [42:25] citizens, uh 3,000 that are living here [42:28] all the time with US passports, and then [42:31] you got a ringleader, this this guy, [42:34] uh what's his name? Al Cook, who is [42:36] coming here every year and is like, [42:37] "Okay, guys, what what provocations are [42:39] we going to plan this year? Let's let's [42:41] plan some stone throwing, some tire [42:42] burning, some uh you know, some uh [42:45] >> Yes. [42:46] >> you know, molotov whatever it is, riots, [42:48] arson with the IDF, and then it's and [42:51] then we'll make sure everything the film [42:53] crews are there, the photographers, and [42:54] then those will immediately go to our [42:56] other guy, uh Imad Dabbour, who's based [42:59] in Memphis, Tennessee, which is, you [43:02] know, for us, our organization was [43:03] founded in Tennessee, so it's like [43:05] that's that's horrible that we have this [43:06] guy based out of Tennessee. Immediately [43:09] goes to him, who organizes it with all [43:11] these nonprofit Palestinian [43:13] organizations in the United States with [43:15] millions of dollars, who immediately [43:17] get it to the US Congress, Senate, State [43:20] Department, and Department of Justice, [43:21] many of whom are already supportive of [43:23] these organizations, and because they're [43:25] American citizens, it immediately [43:27] triggers that response from the United [43:29] States. [43:29] >> Correct. [43:30] >> It's [43:31] kind of mind-blowing, and I feel like [43:33] people should be outraged by this. [43:35] >> should be outraged, and the United [43:36] States government, I believe, uh [43:39] certainly [43:41] in the context of what is happening now [43:44] in the in about the discussion of the [43:46] abuse of American immigration, [43:48] naturalization, and citizenship laws, [43:51] should be looking into some of these [43:52] people and some of these organizations [43:55] and this entire phenomenon. What happens [43:57] when people who have absolutely no [44:00] interest or in identifying with American [44:03] values, [44:05] um with respect for the United States or [44:08] for its laws, [44:09] um use those [44:12] systems that don't know how to [44:14] differentiate [44:16] in a really, really insidious way, cuz [44:18] that's what's happening here. [44:19] >> Mhm. So, [44:21] what's the what's the bottom line here? [44:23] What are we missing here? And And I [44:24] guess what what is the call to action? [44:27] >> So, [44:28] there are there are quite a few [44:30] different layers to all of this. [44:32] Um [44:33] uh for our part, uh as Regavim, where we [44:36] are focused on land use issues, this is [44:39] kind of far afield for us, but we came [44:41] to it because we tried to understand [44:43] exactly how [44:44] uh a village that was almost nonexistent [44:47] in 1967 [44:48] is now [44:50] what it is today. Um and essentially, [44:53] the loopholes in land use law that [44:56] Israel has uh been forced to uphold [44:59] because it doesn't extend Israeli law to [45:01] these areas, has encouraged this thing [45:04] to happen, this whole chain of events to [45:06] happen. By encouraging people to [45:10] register [45:12] uh land ownership [45:14] in a very, very strange kind of [45:17] uh [45:17] process that was based on Ottoman land [45:20] law, you have a situation where you can [45:22] have people who've never been here, [45:24] don't intend to be here, have nothing to [45:26] do with Judea and Samaria, or all of a [45:29] sudden registered uh as residents of a [45:32] village that was almost defunct and now [45:34] has thousands and thousands of people [45:36] registered as residents, and that will [45:39] continue. So, we want to talk about on [45:41] the Israeli side [45:42] how to close those loopholes and stop [45:45] encouraging this abuse of the system. [45:47] That's one system that needs to be [45:49] looked at. The other system that needs [45:51] to be looked at is how [45:53] uh [45:53] these [45:55] the the loopholes in American [45:57] immigration law are being used uh in [45:59] insidious ways. And also to examine the [46:04] um [46:06] the automatic nature [46:09] and and also just simply to make people [46:11] aware. When you open the newspaper next [46:13] week, actually it happened last week. [46:16] After we published this report and [46:17] handed it to the American ambassador, a [46:19] few days went by and the Guardian [46:22] came out with a huge article attacking [46:25] Ambassador Huckabee. Now Senator Van [46:28] Hollen in the United States is calling [46:29] for Huckabee's resignation for failing [46:31] to protect American citizens. What [46:34] American citizens is he failing to [46:35] protect? [46:37] The residents of Turmus [46:40] comes together [46:42] in some very strange ways. So the first [46:44] step is making people aware that there's [46:47] this isn't coincidence. This isn't, you [46:50] know, some force of nature. [46:52] Be more critical when you see the words [46:55] Turmus Aya in the news and you say, "Oh, [46:57] settlers are attacking Turmus Aya [46:58] again." Well, maybe or maybe not. [47:01] You know, maybe maybe there's something [47:03] else going on here. Maybe someone is [47:04] manipulating this entire situation, [47:08] staging, creating, and tripping an [47:11] entire cascade of responses in the US [47:14] Congress, [47:16] and it's not a coincidence and it's it's [47:19] very carefully engineered. [47:20] >> This you kind of reference it, but this [47:22] this whole thing in this report and [47:24] what's going on ties into the whole [47:26] settler violence narrative, right? [47:29] >> Because like you're saying, [47:31] you know, they want the world they they [47:33] want the world to believe that [47:35] everything we we read. That's why I [47:36] wanted to read the actual story that [47:38] would happen this year because it's a [47:39] really good example. They want the world [47:41] to believe [47:42] settlers are violent, you know, settlers [47:44] are attacking villages, settlers are and [47:46] even now, [47:47] you know, we don't even have time to get [47:49] into it, but there's stories happening [47:50] in Judea and Samaria right now and the [47:52] narrative is settlers are violent, [47:53] settlers are attacking, settlers are [47:54] stealing land, settlers are surrounding [47:56] homes, settlers are holding Palestinians [47:58] captive. Um and the the truth behind the [48:01] news may not always be what it seems. [48:04] And I think [48:04] >> what we what we've said before is [48:07] look at the sources. Consider who's [48:09] telling you this information. Consider [48:12] what it's based on. [48:13] Uh consider [48:15] who's who's to gain here from this [48:17] story. [48:19] We want people to be able to say from [48:21] after listening to this conversation, [48:23] reading this report which we haven't [48:25] actually put on our website yet, um but [48:28] we will. [48:30] Okay, when Tura Masaya pops onto my [48:32] screen next time, I'm going to take that [48:33] with a grain of salt because there's [48:35] something else going on here in the [48:37] background. And that should be um a [48:40] cautionary tale for a lot of the reports [48:43] of settler violence that people are [48:44] seeing. [48:45] >> Mhm. [48:45] >> Um they'll be misreported, they'll be [48:48] reported by extremely biased or [48:50] problematic sources, they'll be [48:52] amplified by clearly anti-Israel or [48:56] terrorist-affiliated sources, and [48:58] they'll be used to demonize not only the [49:00] the Jewish residents of Judea and [49:02] Samaria, but the IDF and the state of [49:04] Israel as a whole. [49:06] Think before you buy into that story. [49:09] >> And like we said at we mentioned at the [49:11] beginning or talking earlier is that the [49:13] story that you see [49:15] even if it's not true, you probably will [49:17] not see the retraction or the truth come [49:19] out later because [49:21] once that truth makes its way around the [49:22] world once that lie makes its way around [49:25] the world it doesn't matter when the [49:27] truth comes out. It's squashed and it's [49:28] not interesting anymore. The world has [49:30] moved on to different headlines. [49:31] >> Correct. [49:32] >> What what should people know? And I [49:35] guess I guess the question probably on [49:36] everyone's minds watching and listening [49:38] is like, what can I do? You know, is [49:40] there any anything people can do at this [49:41] point? [49:42] >> First of all, educate yourself. I I we [49:45] we've done um episodes before and I [49:47] really appreciate that. Um we've done [49:49] episodes about the settler violence [49:51] narrative. Uh it's important for people [49:53] to look at how we analyzed the [49:57] statistics and the stories that are [49:59] making it to people's [50:01] uh you know, morning edition of their [50:02] newspaper and their newsfeed. [50:05] Figure it it's the same sort of [50:07] situation. Who's putting out those those [50:09] reports? It's important for people to [50:12] educate themselves. That's number one. [50:14] Number two, [50:15] demand that members of Congress who are [50:19] in cahoots with terrorists [50:23] uh be brought to at least give an [50:26] account of what it is that they think [50:29] they're that is okay about attending an [50:32] event hosted by a terrorist affiliate. [50:35] >> Right. [50:35] >> An American [50:36] an American nonprofit organization that [50:40] is clearly supporting terrorism is not [50:43] some place a member of the US Congress [50:45] should find himself. [50:46] >> Right. And that's something every [50:48] American citizen can do is you can [50:49] educate your representative. Believe it [50:51] or not, representatives, at least a lot [50:53] of them want to hear from their [50:54] constituents and you can reach out to [50:56] them. [50:57] Um people are going to want to know can [50:58] they get can they get a copy of this [50:59] report you said? [51:01] >> We will I will be putting it up on our [51:02] website probably within the next day or [51:04] so. We haven't actually released this to [51:06] the press yet uh because of our history [51:09] we decided to come here first [51:11] and because your your um your followers [51:13] are much more educated about terrorism [51:16] and all this stuff than the average, [51:18] this is a a great place to start to to [51:20] share this information. We will be [51:22] sharing it more widely and I will be [51:24] putting this up on our website. You can [51:25] check out our website. It's uh regavim [51:28] uh dot org. r e g a v i m dot org. [51:32] >> I will be happy to put up a a link to [51:34] that in the description of the video or [51:35] the podcast so you guys can easily find [51:37] that. Uh if we can get a direct link to [51:40] the report, we'll definitely do that in [51:41] the description below as well. But um [51:44] thank you so much for bringing this. [51:46] This is the type of thing that our [51:48] audience wants to know and needs to know [51:50] and it's also they're not hearing it [51:52] anywhere else unfortunately. Uh it's [51:54] very difficult to to find out the truth [51:56] and the real stories of what's happening [51:58] >> [snorts] [51:58] >> here in Israel and that's what we like [51:59] to do is we like to bring the boots on [52:01] the ground front row uh front lines [52:04] perspective and and you guys in Regavim [52:06] are are doing just that on an daily [52:09] basis. So, thank you for your hard work [52:11] um and we appreciate you bringing this [52:13] the story today. [52:14] >> Thank you. [52:15] >> Okay, guys.
