CNN’s Jeremy Diamond found a way to turn the deaths of 40 hostages kidnapped by Hamas into an indictment of Israel. CNN claims 24 hostage deaths can be traced to Israeli military actions. Except that Hamas kidnapped them. Hamas held them captive. Hamas bears responsibility for putting them in danger in the first place. While 11 hostages were identified as killed by Israeli fire or operations, the remaining 13 include hostages executed by their captors and deaths with unconfirmed causes. Israeli soldiers didn't pull those triggers. Hamas terrorists did. Every single one of those hostages should still be alive, and we can’t allow their deaths to be manipulated to serve a narrative against Israel.
