Transcript [00:00] Can it happen again? I fear that it can. [00:02] Tragically, [00:04] there were a lot of warning signs and uh [00:08] intelligence that was coming in in the [00:09] 24 36 hours preceding the morning of [00:11] October 7th when at 6:29 a.m. Kamas [00:15] basically initiated its assault against [00:17] Israel. We know what subsequently [00:19] happened. 1,200 people murdered in the [00:22] worst way possible that day and another [00:24] 251 taken hostage into the Gaza Strip. [00:27] What preceded all of that though, and I [00:29] think this is what we need to remember, [00:32] is this wasn't just a tactical failure. [00:35] Kamas, a genocidal terrorist [00:37] organization on our border, openly [00:39] training to assault military bases and [00:42] kibbutim. They would openly train and [00:45] show how they can break into a building, [00:47] carry out someone as a as if they're [00:49] taking a hostage. They spoke in ways [00:51] that they want to destroy the state of [00:53] Israel, murder and kidnap. And we said, [00:55] "No, you don't. You want money, you want [00:58] economic prosperity. Why rock the boat [01:00] now? Why lead to a conflict? So, you [01:03] know, the question that I often think [01:05] about is, okay, kamas now we'll wait to [01:08] see if they disarm his balah. We'll wait [01:09] to see if that works there. But let's [01:11] say they don't in the end or they disarm [01:13] partially but not completely. And then [01:15] one day, two years from now, we see our [01:18] intelligence officers. They pick up a [01:20] Hezbollah guy dragging a missile or a [01:23] Hamas guy digging a an underground [01:26] rocket launcher. And then one becomes [01:28] two becomes 10 becomes 100 becomes a [01:30] thousand. So, can it happen again? I [01:33] fear that it can.
