Caution: Today’s podcast includes discussions that may NOT be suitable for children In this episode of The Israel Guys, we break down some modern-day “blood libels.” From a nonstop flood of global media narratives accusing Israel of blocking Palestinian children from getting to school, committing extreme abuses, and weaponizing animals. But what’s really happening on the ground? We take a closer look at the widely circulated CNN report about Israeli settlers supposedly blocking children from the road to their school and contrast it with on-the-ground accounts showing that the main road remains open and that the story is staged for international media. We also examine the shocking claims that Israel is deploying “weaponized rats” in Gaza, there truly seems to be no end to the false narratives targeting the Jewish people. At the same time, we cover major geopolitical developments shaping the narrative war against Israel — from the interception of the largest flotilla yet that attempted to break the Gaza blockade, to explosive reports alleging that the ICC case against Israeli leaders may have been influenced by Qatar. We also discuss growing criticism of the United Nations after appointing Iran to key human rights roles, and as one of the vice presidents of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Review Conference. As Israel heads toward crucial elections, and a new generation of voters emerges, forged in the fires of raging global antisemitism, this new movement of youth may prove to be the most fierce defenders that the State of Israel has ever seen. We also explore how media, politics, and international institutions are colliding in an all out battle over the truth, and the future of the Jewish state.
