Transcript [00:00] President Trump is none-too-happy with [00:02] the Israelis. They uh Israelis attacked [00:05] Beirut today, the Dahiya neighborhood, [00:07] the Hezbollah stronghold, in response to [00:09] drone attacks [00:11] uh [00:12] against Israeli civilians this morning [00:14] by Hezbollah. And we're going to get [00:16] into all of that in this video. And the [00:17] main thing we're going to talk about [00:18] here is what is so wrong with this [00:22] moment? What is Hezbollah trying to [00:23] accomplish? What is Iran trying to [00:25] accomplish? And what is the uh [00:28] disagreement really? And there's there [00:30] is one between the Israelis [00:32] and the Americans right now. This is [00:34] This is all very important. So, let's [00:36] get right to it. Here is the headline. [00:39] IDF strikes Hezbollah command centers in [00:41] Beirut's Dahiya hours before signing of [00:44] US-Iran deal. Since early Sunday [00:46] morning, several drones launched by [00:48] Hezbollah have crossed into Israeli [00:49] airspace, prompting sirens to be sounded [00:52] in northern Israel. Now, understand what [00:53] these drones are. People hear drone and [00:54] it sounds less dangerous than if it had [00:57] said rocket. [00:58] Right? If it had said rocket, that [01:00] sounds more like a weapon. But, [01:01] understand these drones are basically [01:02] rockets, but they're rockets that can be [01:05] controlled and that seek their target [01:07] and then they dive and they have this [01:09] large explosive on the end of them and [01:11] they kill people. That's what they are. [01:12] They're explosive drones. They're very [01:13] dangerous. They basically are the firing [01:16] of rockets. They're just more effective. [01:18] The IDF The IDF is conducting strikes in [01:20] the Dahiya district of Beirut in [01:22] response to Hezbollah fire toward [01:23] Israeli territory, Prime Minister [01:25] Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister [01:27] Israel Katz confirmed Sunday in a joint [01:29] statement. Israel will not tolerate fire [01:31] directed at its territory, the statement [01:33] said. The strikes precisely targeted one [01:35] of Hezbollah's command centers [01:38] located within Dahiya, used by the [01:41] terror organization to advance terrorist [01:43] attacks against the citizens of the [01:44] state of Israel, and IDF soldiers [01:46] operating in southern Lebanon. Israeli [01:48] media reported that the targeted center [01:51] was housing Hezbollah's communications [01:53] systems chief, while the result of the [01:55] attack is still not clear. According to [01:58] Axios reporter Barak Ravid, the IDF [02:00] notified CENTCOM shortly before [02:02] conducting the strike. [02:05] Okay, and then the and then the Iranians [02:07] accused the Americans of being behind [02:09] it. [02:10] Iranian Parliament speaker and chief [02:11] negotiator chief negotiator Mohammad [02:14] Bagher Ghalibaf responded to the strikes [02:17] on Dahiyeh by commenting on the upcoming [02:18] peace deal with the United States in a [02:20] post on X. He stated that the strikes [02:23] indicate that America either lacks the [02:25] will to fulfill its commitments or the [02:27] ability to do so. [02:30] If you can't fulfill your commitments, [02:31] speaking of continuing the path is [02:33] impossible, he added. [02:35] Ebrahim Rezaei, an Iranian lawmaker and [02:37] military adviser [02:39] of the supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei, [02:41] said in a post on X following the [02:43] announcement of the strikes that the [02:44] only way towards any sort of agreement [02:46] with the United States is to discipline [02:48] the Zionist regime. They are they're [02:50] tipping their hand here in these [02:51] comments. We'll get to that in a moment. [02:53] If this rabid dog is not brought under [02:55] control, it will bite our own feet [02:56] before the ink on the agreement has even [02:58] dried. [03:00] Rezaei wrote, "The IDF is maintaining [03:01] high alertness and readiness in all air [03:03] in all arenas," said the chief of staff. [03:06] "And the entire IDF is determined and [03:09] operating with various intensities and [03:11] varying intensities in all sectors. [03:13] Lebanon is our main center of gravity, [03:15] but we are preparing for developments in [03:16] other arenas." [03:18] He also said that the operation in [03:19] southern Lebanon is leading to the [03:21] continued erosion and disintegration of [03:23] Hezbollah's southern front. [03:25] With the improvements in the security [03:26] situation being key to determining the [03:28] framework of negotiations mediated by [03:31] the American political echelon and the [03:33] Lebanese government. This is key. We'll [03:35] get to that also in a couple minutes. [03:37] Since early Sunday morning, several [03:39] drones launched by Hezbollah have [03:41] crossed into Israeli airspace prompting [03:43] air raid sirens to be sounded [03:45] in northern Israel. In response, several [03:48] Israeli ministers called on the [03:49] government to intensify attacks against [03:51] Hezbollah and the Dahiya. [03:53] Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich called [03:55] on Netanyahu to implement his Dahiya [03:57] doctrine. The Dahiya doctrine was was [04:00] stated about a week and a half, 2 weeks [04:02] ago, that any attacks now from Hezbollah [04:04] will result in attacks [04:06] any attacks on our civilians will result [04:08] in attacks on the Dahiya. [04:11] With determination and force to to [04:13] demolish buildings in Dahiya today in a [04:15] post on X. And then Itamar Ben-Gvir [04:17] echoed the sentiment. [04:19] Um [04:22] A deal with Iran is set to be signed on [04:24] Sunday and the Strait of Hormuz will [04:25] open immediately afterwards, US [04:27] President Donald Trump announced in in a [04:28] Truth Social post. [04:30] Okay, and okay, let's let's get to the [04:33] reactions here. So, Donald Trump was not [04:35] happy about this. Here's his reaction on [04:36] Truth Social. [04:38] This morning's attack on Beirut should [04:39] not have happened, [04:41] particularly on a special day when we [04:43] are so close to a peace deal with Iran, [04:46] a peace deal. This is a memorandum of [04:49] understanding [04:51] that is ostensibly supposed to [04:54] mean that you start negotiating for what [04:57] the terms of the surrender of the [05:00] nuclear material is. I mean, this is not [05:03] a peace deal. Iran Israel has the right [05:05] to defend itself against threats, but [05:07] the attack it was responding to was very [05:09] small and meaningless. Nobody was hurt, [05:12] injured, or killed and should not [05:14] disrupt this important process. Excuse [05:16] me? [05:17] We have [05:18] rockets, drones, attacks coming at us [05:21] from Hezbollah and we're not supposed to [05:22] retaliate unless someone is injured or [05:25] killed? [05:27] Because we're successful in our air [05:28] defenses in shooting them down, it also [05:31] it completely misunderstands what's [05:32] happening here. [05:35] Let me finish this and then I'm going to [05:36] raise the most important question that [05:37] we have to ask about all of this. [05:39] We are very close to a deal that will [05:41] bring peace to the region, including to [05:44] Lebanon. [05:45] Hold that thought. And all sides should [05:47] stand There should be no more attacks by [05:49] Israel anywhere in Lebanon, but there [05:51] should also be no more attacks by any [05:53] other party, including Hezbollah, [05:54] against Israel. [05:56] This could be the beginning of a long [05:57] and beautiful peace. Let's not blow it. [05:59] Thank you for your attention to this [06:00] matter, President Donald J. Trump. [06:02] Listen. [06:04] Here's the question that we have to ask [06:06] about this whole thing, and the only way [06:08] to deal with this in a in a in an [06:10] accurate manner is to ask this question. [06:14] Or to raise this issue. [06:19] Who does Hezbollah work for? [06:21] Iran. [06:23] They don't just work for Iran. This [06:24] isn't the Houthis. I said this many [06:25] times. This isn't the Houthis. This [06:27] isn't Hamas. [06:28] They are not We call Hezbollah a proxy [06:30] of Iran. They are not. [06:32] They are Iran. That's not a hyperbole. [06:35] That's not just a I'm not just like [06:37] throwing words around. This is a real [06:39] distinction. Hamas is an independent [06:41] organization that received funding over [06:44] the years from Iran. They also have [06:46] others. [06:47] The Houthis are independent [06:48] organization. They have their own [06:49] agendas. They also are a proxy of Iran. [06:52] They receive weapons and they receive [06:53] funding from Iran. [06:55] Hezbollah is the Iranian army. It's It's [06:58] the IRGC. [07:00] It is Iran. [07:02] It's like if American troops are [07:05] stationed in another country, there's a [07:07] base somewhere and you have a US troops [07:08] there. [07:09] That's not a proxy of the United States. [07:12] That is the United States. Get the [07:14] difference? Hezbollah is Iran. This has [07:17] to do with chain of command, and this is [07:19] why it's so critical to the situation to [07:21] understand it accurately. And it's like [07:23] President Trump is like pretending he [07:25] doesn't know the truth here. [07:28] In other words, [07:30] if Hezbollah's attacking Israel this [07:33] morning and last night, [07:35] they're only doing it because the chain [07:37] of command from Tehran is telling them [07:39] to to it. [07:43] So, the question we have to ask is why [07:46] at this moment when the deal is supposed [07:48] to be signed today, is Tehran [07:50] instructing Hezbollah to be firing at [07:53] Israel? [07:54] That's the question we need to ask. [07:57] And if you're not willing to entertain [07:59] that question, you're not you don't [08:00] you're not asking that question, you're [08:02] just missing what's going on here and [08:05] and and and Trump's Truth Social post [08:07] makes it seem like this is too like [08:10] well, Hezbollah shouldn't have attacked [08:11] Israel. Shouldn't have attacked them. [08:11] We're trying to make a deal with Iran. [08:13] Iran is attacking Israel. That's what [08:14] Hezbollah Hezbollah drones being fired [08:16] on Israel is. [08:19] Now, why is Iran doing it? [08:21] It's brilliant. They revealed it in [08:23] those quotes that were in that article. [08:26] Let me go back to that. [08:27] You'll see what I mean. They revealed [08:29] why they're doing it. [08:31] They're doing it because it's a [08:32] brilliant it's a brilliant [08:34] game theory move. It's a brilliant move [08:37] to [08:38] to you know, game out the situation. [08:39] It's a win-win for them. [08:41] Let me go back to their quotes. [08:44] From the Iranian officials in here. [08:45] Let's find them. Here. [08:49] First, we have Ghalibaf [08:52] saying that America either lacks the [08:55] will to fulfill its commitments or the [08:56] ability to do so. [09:00] Okay? [09:01] And then you have Rezaee saying [09:03] that they should discipline the Zionist [09:05] regime. [09:07] That's the only way towards an [09:08] agreement. [09:11] Now, [09:12] let's ask the question again. [09:15] Why did Iran tell Hezbollah to attack [09:17] Israel today? [09:19] Last night. [09:20] Because it's a win-win. [09:22] If Israel does not respond because [09:25] President Trump has told Israel [09:29] don't respond. [09:30] And because of that Israel doesn't [09:31] respond. So, what is this? Iran goes [09:33] ahead, they they instruct Hezbollah as [09:35] fire at Israel. [09:37] Israel's reined in by the United States [09:39] and Iran has shown that they can deter [09:43] Israel. [09:44] That they can deter Israel. They can [09:46] determine whether Israel responds and [09:47] they can fire at Israel with impunity. [09:50] That is a tremendous amount of power [09:53] and leverage that they have just [09:54] demonstrated. [09:58] And [10:00] they're also creating more tension [10:02] between the United States and Israel. [10:04] They're also by blaming America for it, [10:08] they're putting America on its back [10:10] foot. They're putting Trump like you [10:11] know Trump you know Trump wants a deal [10:13] so badly. So what do they do? They [10:15] escalate. They escalate in Lebanon. If [10:17] Israel attacks Dahiya, [10:21] then they get they drive a wedge between [10:23] the US and Israel. [10:26] Or they make America look like they're [10:28] negotiating in bad faith. Either way, [10:30] those are the two statements there. [10:33] Rein in the rabid dog Israel and America [10:36] either lacks the will or lacks the [10:38] ability. In other words, this makes [10:40] Trump turn to Israel and say what he [10:41] said. What did Trump say to Israel? You [10:44] shouldn't have done this. You shouldn't [10:45] have done this. We're trying to get a [10:46] peace deal. Now you're not trying to get [10:47] a peace deal. [10:48] Let's go back to Trump's statement also. [10:51] It I mean it's it's I I I I hate to say [10:53] this, but it's it's it's absurd on its [10:55] face. Let me tell you how Israelis hear [10:57] this. [10:58] Cuz this is [10:59] this is really [11:01] this is a major piece of the puzzle that [11:04] people just don't get. When they see oh [11:05] is Israel attacks, Israel warmongers. [11:08] Look, [11:10] remember when the Gaza 20-point plan was [11:12] announced? Oh, there's going to be peace [11:13] in Gaza. And what what were the American [11:16] commitments? What what or what did Trump [11:18] say was going to happen? Oh yeah, we're [11:20] going to make a peace deal and we have [11:22] 13 different countries who won't who are [11:24] willing to come in and disarm Hamas. [11:27] And Hamas is definitely going to be [11:29] disarmed. We're either going to do it [11:30] the easy way or the hard way. Trump was [11:32] like, "We're going to disarm Hamas. This [11:34] is the deal that's going to make it [11:35] happen. We're going to get the hostages [11:36] back. And then we have all these [11:38] countries that are going to come in and [11:39] we're going to disarm Hamas and we're [11:40] going to get Hamas out of there and [11:41] we're going to build this new Gaza that [11:43] is going to be peaceful and is going to [11:45] be governed by people who are at peace, [11:47] right?" And what do we have? [11:49] What do we have now? [11:51] We have Hamas still there. No one's [11:53] going in to disarm them. [11:56] Is Trump doing anything about it? Is he [11:57] talking about it? Is he Is there [11:59] anything a foot to try to bring in these [12:02] these fictional countries that don't [12:03] exist these countries that don't exist [12:05] that are supposed to disarm Hamas? No. [12:07] And the Israeli people were sold a bill [12:09] of goods. That's how they feel. That's [12:10] how we feel. [12:13] I I mean, not that Trump was lying. He [12:15] had all the good intentions in the [12:16] world, but he he talks things up. He [12:17] talks a big game. We're used to him [12:19] talking a big game. Oh, we're going to [12:20] be peace in the Middle East. We're going [12:21] to disarm Hamas. Hamas is not disarmed. [12:23] And now you're telling me that you're [12:25] going to make a deal with the Iranians. [12:26] AND DON'T WORRY. DON'T WORRY. I GOT IT. [12:27] I'M I'M PRESIDENT TRUMP. I got it. We're [12:29] going to make a deal with with Iran and [12:31] it's going to it's going to settle the [12:32] whole situation. They're not going to [12:34] have nuclear weapon. They're not going [12:35] to They're not going to cause you any [12:36] more problems. We're We're We're We're [12:37] going to deal with the proxies. We're [12:38] going to deal with the missiles. We're [12:39] going to deal with everything. It's [12:40] going to be peace to the Middle East. [12:41] Wonderful. Going to be peace to Lebanon, [12:44] he says here. [12:46] We are very close to a deal that will [12:47] bring peace to the region including [12:49] Lebanon. Really? [12:51] You know what you're doing by [12:53] by protecting Hezbollah from [12:54] destruction, which is what President [12:56] Trump is doing if he tells Israel not to [12:58] attack not to retaliate against [13:00] Hezbollah. What are you doing? You're [13:01] condemning Lebanon [13:04] to be [13:06] under the thumb of Hezbollah under the [13:08] thumb of Iran in perpetuity. [13:10] Why are you holding back Israel? Like [13:12] all this talk about, you know, making [13:14] peace between Israel and Lebanon and [13:15] let's get President Joseph Aoun and [13:18] Prime Minister Saad Salam and let's [13:20] let's let's try to embolden the Lebanese [13:22] to take their sovereignty to push out [13:24] Hezbollah. We're going to Hezbollah's [13:25] going to be disarmed. How is that [13:26] supposed to happen if you're [13:28] and now you're saying, "No, no, no, no, [13:30] no, Israel, don't attack. Don't attack. [13:31] Stop attacking Hezbollah. Leave [13:33] Hezbollah in Lebanon. Leave Hamas in [13:35] Gaza." That's what the Israeli public is [13:37] hearing. [13:39] I just want you to understand how we [13:40] feel here. [13:42] Why should the Israelis Why should the [13:44] Israeli government play ball with this [13:47] game? [13:49] Because Trump wants to get his deal [13:50] done? This deal is terrible. [13:54] You want us to It's a lack of [13:56] understanding of how the Middle East [13:58] works. If Hezbollah attacks Israel, [14:00] Israel must retaliate. [14:03] Again, let's go back to the key question [14:05] that that unpacks this whole thing. [14:08] It renders this this Truth Social post [14:11] foolish. [14:15] Why did Iran tell Hezbollah to attack [14:19] What do I mean, tell Hezbollah? It's not [14:21] a chain of command every single day. [14:22] Iran But [14:24] or the or the negative. If Iran if if if [14:26] the Iranian negotiators pick up the [14:28] phone and call Na- Naim Qassem, the head [14:31] of Hezbollah, and say, "Stop firing at [14:34] Israel today." [14:35] Okay? We have bigger fish to fry. We [14:37] want to sign this deal with America. [14:39] Stop the firing." No, they did the [14:41] opposite. [14:43] Why did they do that? [14:46] Because they want to put more pressure [14:48] on Trump at this critical moment as [14:50] they're deciding whether or not to sign [14:51] the deal. They want to tighten the [14:53] screws on him and drive a deeper wedge [14:55] between the United States and Israel. [14:57] And blame America [14:59] for the [15:00] you know, for blowing up the deal. [15:02] And in turn have Trump blame Bibi. [15:07] That's what they're doing here. [15:10] And why should the Israeli people trust [15:12] Why should the Israeli leadership trust [15:15] that Trump's concern is our security? [15:18] After what happened in Gaza. [15:21] Oh, we got this big deal. Talking a big [15:23] game [15:24] and then not delivering is not a way to [15:27] win over the Israeli people. [15:29] And then there's the political aspect of [15:31] this, which I've been talking about for [15:32] the last few weeks. [15:34] The Israeli people do not want a [15:36] cessation of hostilities. [15:39] We want to defeat our enemies. We want [15:41] to deal with them once and for all. We [15:43] have them on the ropes. We want to [15:45] finish the job. [15:47] And we know that any deal with the [15:48] Iranian regime is nonsense. We've been [15:50] down this road. We live in this region. [15:57] I mean, look at the Look at Iranian [15:59] state media today. All they're talking [16:01] about is the Beirut attack. US seeks [16:03] Iran memorandum amid Beirut attack. [16:07] Despite another violation of the [16:08] ceasefire in Lebanon and Israeli strike [16:10] on southern Beirut, US officials [16:12] continue to signal their intention to [16:14] move forward with diplomatic efforts. [16:16] And then this one. Marandi after Beirut [16:18] suburb strike, no further negotiations [16:20] for now. This is a typo in their [16:21] headline, believe it or not. [16:24] Right? Mohammad Marandi, a political [16:25] analyst and member of Iran's negotiating [16:27] team, signaled a halt in diplomatic [16:29] efforts following Israel's latest strike [16:30] on Beirut southern suburbs. Think about [16:32] that. They orchestrated it. They tell [16:34] Hezbollah to attack, Israel retaliates, [16:36] and they say, "OH, WE CAN'T NEGOTIATE [16:38] with you anymore." And that just puts [16:40] the squeeze on Israel through putting [16:43] the squeeze on President Trump. [16:47] Gallibath, US green light to Beirut [16:49] strike undermines further talks. [16:52] That is the game they are playing. [16:57] There is no reason whatsoever [17:01] that it makes any sense for Israel's [17:03] best interest to allow Hezbollah to [17:06] attack us [17:08] and not retaliate, [17:11] giving the Iranians all the leverage, [17:15] it allowing the Iranians to flex their [17:17] muscles and show that they still control [17:19] the situation, leaving Hezbollah to do [17:21] as they please to us. Why on earth would [17:23] we do that? [17:27] Is it in the US interest the way I mean [17:30] President Trump gets to determine what [17:32] the US interest is. Okay, I could argue [17:34] that he's wrong about the US interest, [17:35] but that's a separate conversation. He's [17:37] the President of the United States. And [17:38] if he sees it in the US interest to come [17:41] to some sort of deal so that he can get [17:42] an off-ramp out of this thing and get [17:44] the Strait of Hormuz open and claim [17:46] victory even though [17:49] most of the of the objectives that he [17:51] laid out on February 28th to start the [17:54] war have not been achieved. [17:58] In the speech that he gave, I made a [17:59] video about this today on the Israel 365 [18:02] News website [18:04] YouTube channel. Sorry, the Israel 365 [18:06] News YouTube channel. You have to go [18:07] watch this video. Very important. [18:11] The When President Trump spoke to the [18:13] nation on February 28th, he laid out [18:16] objectives for the war. [18:18] Dismantling their navy, dismantling [18:21] their missile capabilities, dismantling [18:23] their ability to [18:25] have proxies, to have terrorist proxies [18:27] across the region who who were now [18:29] trying to save in Lebanon. [18:32] And [18:33] that they should never have a nuclear [18:34] weapon. And then in that same speech [18:37] he called on the IRGC to lay down their [18:39] weapons or face certain death. He said [18:41] to the Iranian people, your freedom is [18:43] at hand. That very soon you'll be able [18:45] to take to the streets and take back [18:46] your government because we're because [18:48] we're creating the conditions for you to [18:50] do that. And then he's negotiating with [18:52] those who slaughtered the Iranian [18:54] people. [18:55] And telling Israel to lay off [18:58] of Hezbollah [19:00] so that he can get his deal. [19:02] Even though Hezbollah is basically Iran [19:04] attacking Israel. Why are they doing it? [19:06] That is the big question that that [19:08] undoes this whole thing. [19:11] Never forget that every Hezbollah attack [19:14] on Israel starts in Tehran. [19:18] Their goal, the Iranians goal, is to [19:20] Remember, their goal is always to delay. [19:22] It's always to kick the can down the [19:24] road, but here also, they they want to [19:26] widen the rift between Israel and the [19:28] US. They want to frustrate President [19:31] Trump. [19:32] They know that he wants a deal. They [19:34] know that he wants de-escalation, so [19:36] they escalate. [19:37] That's what they do. They're playing [19:39] this perfectly. [19:41] This is a big moment. Today, the fact [19:43] that Israel [19:44] responded and attack and attack the [19:46] Dahiya, they had to. You understand? [19:49] Also, politically, is Prime Minister [19:51] Netanyahu supposed to commit political [19:52] suicide [19:55] for President Trump to get his [19:56] memorandum of understanding with the [19:58] Iranian regime that we believe is a huge [20:00] mistake? [20:01] Is that what he wants? [20:03] Cuz from the The Israeli people will not [20:05] stand for a lack of retaliation. We have [20:07] people living in northern communities [20:08] who are under attack by drones and [20:10] missiles. [20:11] Oh, President Trump's like, "Oh, yeah. [20:13] You know, you had to go into your bomb [20:14] shelter and you and and and it could [20:16] have meant death for because these [20:18] drones do kill people. It happens every [20:19] few days, unfortunately. [20:23] Don't retaliate so I can get my deal? [20:26] A deal that [20:29] throws a lifeline to the Iranian regime [20:30] and a lifeline to Hezbollah? [20:33] Don't worry, we have it under control, [20:34] President Trump. We're going to bring [20:36] peace to the Middle East. [20:37] Remember, the Israeli people are are are [20:40] still looking at what happened in in in [20:42] Gaza, and we all remember the high hopes [20:45] when the Gaza plan was announced. [20:47] And we're not going to fall for it [20:48] again. [20:51] I'm sorry I'm being so harsh in this [20:52] video. I know that a lot of people love [20:53] President Trump. I love President Trump. [20:55] He's done great things. [20:57] But we have to speak truth to power. We [20:59] have to be honest about what we are [21:00] seeing. [21:02] This is a dangerous dangerous error. [21:07] That's it for this one. [21:08] Sorry I'm so worked up.
