Transcript [00:00] Shank Wager and his nephew Hassan [00:03] two left-wing, very anti-Israel [00:06] commentators, have been banned from [00:09] entering the United Kingdom, and they're [00:11] blaming it on Israel. [00:14] Well, let's get to the bottom of this. [00:16] Let's understand what actually happened [00:18] here and uh what it all means. Let's get [00:20] to it. It's a very interesting story and [00:23] worth addressing. So, here we go. Let's [00:25] uh let's pull up the first headline. [00:28] UK blocks visit by left-wing [00:30] commentators Shank Waguer and Hassan [00:32] Britain's interior ministry said [00:35] travel authorization for these [00:36] individuals had been cancelled as their [00:39] presence in the UK may not be conducive [00:41] to the public good. The progressive [00:44] political commentator Shank Wager and [00:45] Hassan said Monday, that's this [00:47] past Monday, that they had been barred [00:49] from entering the UK to speak at events. [00:51] Weaguer, who hosts the YouTube series [00:53] The Young Turks, and his nephew [00:55] who broadcast his commentary on the [00:57] video platform Twitch, said on social [01:00] media that they had been blocked because [01:02] of their views about Israel. In a [01:03] statement, the British Home Office or [01:05] Interior Ministry said a travel [01:08] authorization for these individuals had [01:10] been cancelled as their presence in the [01:12] UK may not be conducive to the public [01:15] good. The statement did not mention [01:18] Israel. Decisions to refuse or cancel [01:21] people's electronic travel authorization [01:22] on these grounds are based solely on an [01:24] assessment of the potential risk an [01:27] individual may pose to UK society. The [01:30] ministry added Wager and had been [01:33] listed to speak at the London edition of [01:35] South by Southwest Festival. This is a [01:38] progressive festival that usually takes [01:39] place in uh in Texas, but it's moved [01:42] around uh this week and at the [01:44] University of Oxford over the weekend. I [01:46] quote, "I've been banned for criticism [01:48] Israel. Are we for criticizing Israel? [01:50] Are we free anymore? Weaguer said on X [01:52] after he tried to to board a flight. The [01:55] UK has revoked my visa as well. [01:57] said on X. All at the behest of Israel, [02:00] the behest of Israel, saying that Israel [02:02] requested this. The Israeli government [02:04] did not respond to an emailed request [02:06] for comment on the posts. [02:09] And [02:11] yeah, so that's that's the that's the [02:13] gist of that. So here's the post. Chank [02:14] Wager, I've been banned from the UK. I [02:16] tried to get on a flight in London to [02:18] attend South by Southwest London and [02:20] give a speech at Oxford. I've been [02:21] banned for criticizing Israel. Are we [02:24] free anymore? This is oppression of [02:25] Western citizens by our own governments [02:28] on behalf of a different country. On [02:30] behalf of again that implies saying on [02:32] behalf of means that somehow Israel [02:34] requested this, right? And that's uh and [02:37] he writes down here, I'm going to do a [02:39] live video on the Young Turks YouTube [02:40] channel now to explain their reasoning [02:42] for banning me. It is deeply ironic and [02:45] incredibly flimsy. Under their [02:46] reasoning, 60% of Americans and billions [02:48] of people in the world can be banned [02:49] from the UK for criticizing Israel. [02:53] And [02:55] uh his nephew Hassan the UK has [02:57] revoked my visa as well at the behest of [02:59] Isra at the behest of Israel. The West [03:02] is betraying liberal values for a [03:04] genocidal fascist foreign government. [03:06] Again, he what he's saying not it's [03:07] beyond implying is that Israel requested [03:10] this. [03:12] Soon we will all become Israel. And by [03:14] the way, uh just to understand how [03:16] obsessed Jank Weaguer is with Israel, [03:18] Yala Kobe posted this. In the past week, [03:21] he posted this just a few days ago, May [03:24] 27th. Last week, he posted this. In the [03:25] past week, Jen Wager has posted 106 [03:29] separate times about Israel, assuming he [03:32] sleeps. That's roughly two posts about [03:33] Israel every single hour for an entire [03:36] week straight. Pure derangement. [03:40] Uh yeah, so there's quite an obsession [03:41] of Hassan Hassan similar quite an [03:44] obsession about over Israel. Now here's [03:46] here is Shank Wager on the Piers Morgan [03:49] Uncensored show talking about what [03:51] happened. [03:52] >> You've been probably my most regular [03:55] guest on Uncensored since we began. And [03:58] sometimes I'm concerned about your blood [04:00] vessels. Uh but when it comes to what [04:02] you say about Israel, I've been, you [04:05] know, listening very intently. You've [04:07] always been very careful to maintain [04:10] your criticism of Israel and its [04:13] government in particular and its [04:14] decisions, but I've never heard you [04:17] espouse any anti-semitism. Never heard [04:19] you be hateful about Jewish people or [04:22] anyone because of their faith or their [04:24] ethnicity. So, I just don't understand [04:27] what rationale the UK government could [04:30] possibly have for banning you. Have you [04:33] been able to find out anymore? [04:37] Yeah. So, let's break it down. So, I go [04:39] to the airport and they just say that [04:41] I've been rejected by the British [04:42] government and I'm not allowed to enter [04:44] and hence I can't board the plane. They [04:46] don't give any stated reason. Then about [04:48] 20 minutes later, that Times article [04:50] that you mentioned, Pierce, comes out [04:52] and it says, "It's because I criticized [04:54] Israel in the wrong ways." Uh now I [04:57] don't know if the British government is [04:58] going to put out a list of the [05:00] acceptable ways to criticize Israel and [05:02] the unacceptable ways to criticize [05:04] Israel. That might be helpful. Uh [05:06] because apparently we're going to need [05:08] it. Over 60% of Americans are critical [05:10] of Israel. Will we all be banned from [05:12] the UK? Should everyone be careful about [05:15] traveling to the United Kingdom because [05:17] they might ruin your plans at the end if [05:19] a different government is unsatisfied [05:21] with you? Um, so [05:23] >> see again he's talking about the Israeli [05:26] government being unsatisfied here as [05:28] though the Israeli government did [05:29] something about this. Now it also [05:34] has to be mentioned that the home office [05:36] did not say that this was about Israel. [05:38] The times piece said it was. Now they [05:41] said that you know there was something [05:43] problematic about the way he talks about [05:45] Israel. Uh and what they specifically [05:48] said there was that uh his he talks [05:52] about the Israeli government controlling [05:55] the US government, meaning that he uses [05:57] certain kind of classic anti-semitic [05:59] tropes and that's why they didn't like [06:01] it. I'm not defending their decision. [06:03] I'm a believer in free speech. I don't [06:05] think it's helpful for Israel, for the [06:07] UK to be banning people if this is the [06:09] reason they banned him. But notice he [06:11] keeps implying or basically saying that [06:14] Israel somehow was behind this or [06:15] requested it. [06:17] >> Well, can they list they can they put [06:19] out a list of things you're not allowed [06:21] to say about Israel? And what's amazing [06:23] is that you're allowed to say anything [06:24] you want about the United Kingdom or [06:26] about America or any other country. And [06:28] they said uh the only thing they could [06:30] grasp at because I've never said [06:31] anything anti-semitic because I don't [06:33] believe that. In fact, I believe the [06:34] opposite. uh and is that they said that [06:38] uh I said that America uh is controlled [06:41] by Israel, the Congress is because [06:43] they're the top donor in this election [06:45] in this last election cycle. Well, that [06:47] is empirically true. That is a fact. So, [06:50] are are facts anti-Semitic now? Are news [06:52] people not allowed to deliver facts to [06:54] people? And and if you say, hey, someone [06:57] who [06:58] >> Oh, and by the way, that happens not to [06:59] be true. is the Israel or pro-Israel [07:04] uh advocates are not the largest donor [07:07] in the last election cycle. Far from it. [07:10] But anyway, we I digress. [07:12] >> Who is deeply anti-semitic, says the [07:13] Jews are terrible and it's their fault [07:16] and Hitler's good, etc., is in the same [07:18] camp as a guy who says, "No, this has [07:21] nothing to do with Jewish people. In [07:22] fact, 63% of Jewish Americans are [07:24] opposed to the current Israeli [07:26] government." Uh, and I make that [07:27] distinction on the Young Turks almost [07:29] every day. [07:30] >> You made it on this show regularly. [07:31] >> And I [07:33] Yeah. And if you put uh us in the same [07:36] category, well, you know, you're [07:38] destroying the idea of combating actual [07:39] bigotry. It's almost like pulling at [07:42] Jesse Smlette on a national level. Uh, [07:45] and saying we don't care. We're and and [07:48] it's also deeply ironic to say that [07:49] we're going to ban you for criticizing [07:51] Israel by saying that our governments [07:54] are controlled by Israel. [07:58] Okay, [08:01] well done there, Shank. Um, [08:04] before we go on, I I just want to I want [08:07] to zero in on this whole question of [08:10] criticizing Israel versus being [08:11] anti-semitic and make a very [08:15] u clear [08:19] definition of the contours of this. [08:22] There is nothing anti-semitic about [08:24] criticizing Israel, no matter what the [08:25] criticism is. [08:27] However, [08:29] however, [08:31] what is anti-semitic [08:33] is if you do not have criticisms for [08:36] other countries that do worse things or [08:40] the same things. [08:43] Meaning, [08:45] let's say it has to do with death of [08:47] civilians or treatment of Christians. [08:50] Like, let's say you you're one of these [08:51] people who believes that Israel [08:52] mistreats Christians because some thug [08:55] in Jerusalem who's Jewish pushed over a [08:57] nun or some, [08:59] you know, unruly Jewish kid spit at some [09:01] Christians, right? Or the IDF uh an IDF [09:06] soldier defaced a Jesus statue, right? [09:08] So, you believe that Israel somehow is [09:10] anti-Christian. If you are attacking [09:12] Israel for being anti-Christian, but you [09:14] are not saying a word about the country [09:17] of Saudi Arabia [09:19] and many other Muslim countries where [09:23] leaving Islam and becoming Christian is [09:25] is is uh illegal on the Saudi Arabian [09:30] law books. It's punishable by death [09:33] and public displays of Christian symbols [09:35] are illegal. [09:38] If you're not saying anything about the [09:39] real persecution of Christians, but [09:41] you're only saying something about these [09:44] these stories coming out of Israel, then [09:46] yes, that's anti-semitic. Not because [09:48] criticizing Israel, criticizing an [09:50] Israeli soldier for defacing a Jesus [09:52] statue was anti-Semitic, but because [09:56] selectively criticizing Israel, [09:59] holding Israel to a standard that you [10:01] don't hold anyone else to, that is [10:03] anti-semitic. It's the double standard [10:06] that's anti-semitic, not the criticism. [10:07] And this is what makes it very easy to [10:09] say, "Hey, I'm only criticizing Israel. [10:11] I'm not anti-Semitic." [10:13] That's the measure that we always have [10:14] to look for. And that's why it's [10:16] important to note what a Yakobe pointed [10:19] out here that I mentioned that Chen [10:21] Weaguer [10:23] obsessively, multiple times a day, posts [10:27] attacks on Israel. And the question is, [10:29] is he doing the same thing for other [10:31] parts of the world where atrocities are [10:32] being committed? if he if he views [10:34] Israel as committing atrocities. This is [10:36] a guy who's also said that he would vote [10:37] for Hamas over Israel any time. Okay. Um [10:42] now what's also interesting about this [10:44] is that [10:46] um very recently this is from two weeks [10:50] ago 11 faright agitators were banned [10:53] from the UK out of the rally. Remember [10:55] Tommy Robinson hosted this mass rally in [10:59] u in London and he was bringing in [11:02] speakers to you know notable people to [11:04] come to the rally and 11 foreign [11:06] far-right agitators were blocked from [11:09] entering the country to attend a rally [11:10] organized by anti-Islam activist Tommy [11:12] Robinson. [11:15] Okay. They they banned 11 activists. [11:17] Among the 11 blocked from entering the [11:19] UK is US-based anti-Islam [11:23] anti-Islam influencer Valentina Gomez, [11:25] who attended the first Unite the Kingdom [11:27] march last September. Now, this article [11:30] doesn't mention the names of the others, [11:32] but you know, we got to talk about [11:34] Valentina Gomez, her ban, because it [11:37] shed some light on Changs. Before we go [11:38] on, make sure that you are signed up for [11:40] the Israelt Network. Uh this is uh the [11:43] theisraelnetwork.org. [11:45] Theisrathrunetwork.org. You want to make [11:47] sure that you're signed up there where [11:49] up in the top corner where it says sign [11:50] up for the truth. This is uh the this is [11:54] one of the results of implementing [11:56] Charlie Kirk's vision [11:59] for having rapid response to uh lies and [12:02] claims that are made against Israel. And [12:05] so when when people claim that Shank [12:08] Weaguer and were were banned [12:11] because Israel wanted it or Israel asked [12:14] for it or Israel was behind it, we [12:16] debunk it and each of the issues that we [12:18] deal with. Um we have we put out these [12:22] great fact sheets and [12:25] and it has the information. It has what [12:27] the lie is and we debunk all the lies [12:28] about Israel and they're all archived [12:30] here. very important website and you can [12:31] sign up to get these um these [12:35] Israel Truth uh updates, these Israel [12:38] Truth reports every single day in your [12:41] inbox. Get these fact sheets. Very [12:43] important. So, sign up for [12:44] theisrathrunetwork.org. [12:46] Okay. So, who is Valentina Gomez? A [12:50] US-based anti-Islam influencer has been [12:52] blocked from entering the UK by the Home [12:53] Office. Valentina Gomez, who has [12:55] unsuccessfully sought election in [12:57] Missouri and Texas on an anti-Islam [12:59] platform, [13:01] previously filmed herself burning a [13:02] Quran in a campaign video. And the home [13:06] secretary, Shabbana Mahmood, that's the [13:09] name of the home secretary of the UK, [13:11] Shabbana Mahmood. More on her in a [13:13] minute. She decided that Gomez's [13:15] presence in the country would not be [13:16] conducive to the public good. Hey, does [13:18] that sound familiar? That's right. [13:20] That's the same logic she used for [13:21] banning Shank. Now, Valentina Gomez is [13:25] extremely pro- Israel. Here's an article [13:27] about her trip to Israel in in October [13:29] 2025. And look at this. Look what she [13:31] did on her trip. A Texas congressional [13:34] candidate who visited Israel filmed [13:36] herself at the Gaza border watching IDF [13:38] strikes on Gaza with popcorn in her [13:40] hand. Oh my gosh. She added that she was [13:42] looking forward to meeting Prime [13:43] Minister Netanyahu. [13:45] She wants to be baptized in the Jordan [13:47] River. And look what she says here. [13:49] Kamas's days are over. Never negotiate [13:50] with terrorists. She's an immigrant from [13:52] Colombia. She a prominent MAGA activist [13:56] and she said as part of her travels to [13:58] Israel, she spoke to the daughters of [13:59] slain IDF soldiers. She went to the [14:02] Western Wall. [14:04] Gomez said that she stood by all her [14:05] actions and statements, noting that at [14:07] the wall, Muslims and Christians could [14:09] pray freely, but the same courtesy was [14:11] not afforded to Jews and Christians on [14:12] the Temple Mount. The congressional [14:14] hopeful said that she had been very well [14:16] treated during her visit to Israel and [14:17] supported Israel. So, she was banned [14:20] from the UK. And by the way, uh besides [14:23] them, we also had uh we also had some [14:27] some others who were banned from the UK. [14:30] I mean, in the list of those who were [14:33] banned, you also had Dominic Ch, you [14:35] know, Tinsky, very pro-Israel guy. Uh he [14:39] was welcomed by at an Israeli government [14:42] conference on anti-semitism recently [14:43] that I attended. And uh you have Philip [14:46] Dwinter who was also banned by the UK, [14:49] very pro-Israel guy. He's called Israel [14:51] the outpost of the West and uh and he's [14:55] been, you know, he's been a pro-Israel [14:56] guy. Now, these people are associated [14:58] with the far right, but these are among [15:00] the 11 who were banned by by the UK Home [15:03] Office. So, wait a second. So, they're [15:05] banning pro-Israel influencers and [15:09] anti-Israel influencers. So, is Israel [15:12] controlling the UK government? And by [15:13] the way, what interest does Israel have [15:15] from preventing Shank Weaguer, who's [15:17] spewing anti-Israel content every day, [15:20] from going to the UK and doing more of [15:22] that? The UK is one of the most [15:23] anti-Israel governments in the world, [15:26] unless you haven't been paying [15:27] attention. So, for example, the UK back [15:30] in September 2025 formally recognized [15:32] Palestinian statehood. It was one of the [15:34] only c one of the few countries that did [15:36] so. Okay, this is a country that the UK [15:39] government is not pro- Israel. they have [15:41] no reason to be protecting Israel. It [15:43] seems that they don't want uh people who [15:45] are fermenting [15:47] uh hatred on either side to come into [15:50] the country. Now, I'm not justifying it. [15:52] I don't agree with that. I'm I kind of [15:54] like free speech and I don't think the [15:56] UK should be doing this and certainly is [15:58] a bad look for Israel if they're [15:59] preventing someone like Jen Weaguer from [16:01] coming to the UK. Doesn't do us any [16:03] good. [16:05] And by the way, who is the who is the uh [16:09] uh the person who who banned who banned [16:12] him? Home secretary Shabbana Mahmood. [16:15] Well, here's Home Secretary Shabbana [16:16] Mahmood. Banned for criticizing Israel. [16:19] Here's the woman who banned you. Post [16:21] Sandino. Here she is at a free Palestine [16:25] at a free Palestine rally. She's a pro [16:28] Palestine activist. Look at her website. [16:30] This is Shabbana Makmoud's website at [16:31] the Labor Party site. Shabbanana's [16:34] record on Palestine. Many constituents [16:37] have been in touch regarding their [16:38] support for Palestine in response to [16:40] recent events in Israel [16:43] and the occupied Palestinian [16:45] territories. I am and always have been a [16:47] passionate and determined supporter of [16:48] Palestinian rights and my parliamentary [16:50] record on the issue speaks for itself. [16:52] My support extends fully to the citizens [16:54] of the occupied Palestinian territories [16:56] who have had themselves and their [16:58] families displaced or injured by [16:59] Israel's military action in the region. [17:01] I'm also a lang a long-standing member [17:03] of Labor Friends of Palestine in the [17:05] Middle East. And then she has her whole [17:07] record on Palestine. She is one of the [17:09] most anti-Israel [17:11] members of the UK government. [17:13] One of the most anti-Israel members of [17:15] the UK government [17:19] is Shabbana Mahmood, [17:21] pro Palestine activist. [17:24] So [17:26] to suggest that Israel somehow picked up [17:29] the phone and called Shabban Mahmood and [17:31] asked her to ban these guys [17:35] is absurd. Why would Israel even do [17:37] that? What do they gain from that? Why [17:40] does it help them? Is I mean, think [17:41] about it. Is the public relations issue [17:44] going on right now with Jen Weaguer and [17:46] Hassan making hay out of this? Is [17:47] this good for Israel? Does it is it a [17:49] good look? I mean, the UK is is a hotbed [17:52] of Muslim Brotherhood activity. [17:55] So much so that the UAE doesn't even [17:58] send students there anymore because [17:59] they're afraid of them getting [18:00] radicalized. The UK is uh as a [18:02] government is very anti-Israel [18:06] and they have all sorts of restrictions [18:07] on free speech and they don't want [18:08] agitators coming in, whatever. But the [18:11] suggestion that somehow Israel was [18:13] behind this and that this is a uniquely [18:16] pro-Israel action banning people when [18:19] you just had 11 right-wing activists, a [18:22] number of which were very pro-Israel who [18:24] were banned just a couple weeks ago. I [18:26] don't know if Shank mentioned that. [18:28] Whole thing's ridiculous. Again, I don't [18:30] think the UK should be banning people, [18:32] but to suggest that Israel was somehow [18:34] behind this would imply that Israel has [18:38] some control over the UK government. the [18:40] UK government that consistently is in [18:44] the anti-Israel camp on the [18:45] international stage and somehow somehow [18:48] Israel controls Shabbana Mahmood pro [18:51] Palestine activist home office secretary [18:57] in a government that recognized a state [18:58] of Palestine that Israel controls that [19:01] government [19:02] now they can't stop the UK government [19:05] from recognizing the state of Palestine [19:06] but they could get them to stop Shank [19:08] Weaguer from coming into the country. [19:10] Very strange claim. All right, that's [19:13] what I got to say here today. Hope you [19:16] found it interesting. Leave me a [19:18] comment. God bless.
