He ran toward the cockpit to fight. Minutes later, he was fighting to save a life. When screams broke out aboard flydubai Flight FZ1073, Israeli dentist Dr. Shota Musaev didn't wait for anyone to call him. He ran forward and joined the passengers who overpowered and tied up the attacker - one of four who took control of the situation. "I came to fight the attacker when I heard the screams," he said. Then he turned to the wounded captain. Captain Smit Machchhar had suffered deep injuries to his head and hands, and Dr. Musaev was the only medical professional among the passengers. He worked to stop the bleeding as the plane made its way to an emergency landing. The captain told them he was 39, with two children at home. Thanks to the men who stepped in, he's still here to see them. A dentist. A plumber. A wounded captain. Ordinary people who ran toward danger. Heroes, each every single one of them. 🇮🇱🤍 Make sure to subscribe to our channel to stay up-to-date on all StandWithUs content. https://linktr.ee/stand_with_us StandWithUs Facebook : https://bit.ly/2V7eW4J StandWithUs Instagram : https://bit.ly/2JeXUe7 StandWithUs Twitter : https://bit.ly/2Wh6Bbl StandWithUs Threads: https://www.threads.net StandWithUs TikTok : https://www.tiktok.com/@stand_with_us StandWithUs TV : https://www.standwithus.tv StandWithUs Web : https://www.standwithus.com
