Transcript [00:00] Hey everyone. So, there's a headline I [00:02] want to show you uh from Thursday that [00:05] is going to be the subject of this [00:06] video. So, let's pull it up and just get [00:08] right to the subject at hand. And it has [00:12] to do with a guy by the name of Marwan [00:15] Barguti. Marwan Barguti is a terrorist [00:18] who's sitting in an Israeli prison. and [00:22] a bunch of Marvel actors like actors who [00:24] act in these uh Marvel movies joined a [00:27] campaign for calling for the release of [00:30] Palestinian terrorist Marwan Bargoodi. [00:32] Bargoodi is a former member a former [00:34] leader of the Al Axa martyrs brigades a [00:37] terrorist organization that carried out [00:39] many suicide bombings and shooting [00:41] attacks during the second inifat. Okay. [00:45] And the actors who signed this letter [00:47] included um Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark [00:50] Ruffalo, Don Cheetel, Kate Blanchett, [00:54] Tilda Swinton, Ian Mckllen, Riz Ahmed, a [00:57] couple dozen others. Look, I don't watch [01:00] these movies and these are not [01:02] necessarily people that I'm a fan of, [01:04] but these are bigname people in the [01:05] culture, especially among young people [01:07] today. And the letter calls on the [01:10] United Nations and the governments of [01:12] the world to quote actively seek the [01:14] release of a man of of of Marwan [01:17] Bargoodi, a man who is a murderer. So if [01:21] you don't follow this closely, you don't [01:23] necessarily know that Bargoodi is a [01:24] murderer. You see all these celebrities [01:26] calling for the release of this [01:27] political prisoner and you think maybe [01:30] he's uh you know, he just said the wrong [01:32] thing in public. He is serving, Marwon [01:35] Bargudi is serving five consecutive life [01:38] sentences plus 40 years. Convicted of [01:41] orchestrating [01:43] uh terror attacks during the second [01:45] inifat that murdered Israeli civilians [01:47] at a restaurant, at a gas station, a [01:50] series of shootings. He's never [01:52] renounced violence. And as recently as [01:54] this July, the Israeli Prison Service [01:58] came out with a report where they [02:00] detailed the danger posed by Marwan [02:02] Barguti. [02:04] The Israeli prison service says that [02:06] despite his moderate global image, [02:08] Marwan Barguti continues to promote [02:09] violent rhetoric and aims to expand his [02:12] political influence. The document [02:14] further alleges that Burggoodi is [02:15] working to unite Fatak and Kamas under a [02:18] joint leadership [02:20] to unite Fatak and Kamas. If we if we [02:23] ever were under the impression that so [02:26] many people like to have that that [02:28] Fatak, the Palestinian Authority, [02:29] they're kind of moderate and they [02:31] they're not into violence and Kamas, [02:32] they're the bad guys. Well, Bargoodi is [02:35] looking to unite them. According to the [02:37] report, he views Hamas as a natural [02:39] partner in the Palestinian Arab [02:41] political system and is seeking to [02:43] promote a unified leadership against [02:44] Israel while maintaining ties with [02:47] figures inside the organization. that [02:49] organization being kamas. And it also [02:52] says in there that the Israeli prison [02:54] service, the intelligence report views [02:55] him as a kind of yakya sinir type [02:58] figure, perhaps even more sophisticated [03:00] because he's more of a wolf in sheep's [03:02] clothing. Like sinar was a wolf in [03:03] wolf's clothing. Right. And look, [03:06] Bargoodi still promotes what we call [03:10] armed resistance. Armed resistance now. [03:12] Um, now just to be clear, armed [03:15] resistance, you hear that term a lot uh [03:17] when talking about the Israeli Arab [03:19] conflict, it does not mean like fighting [03:22] the IDF or freedom fighters challenging [03:25] local authorities. It means terrorism. [03:28] It means October 7th. It means the [03:30] murder of innocent civilians. That's [03:31] what they call armed resistance. [03:33] Whenever you hear that term, remember [03:34] that. So, [03:36] for today, for this video, we're going [03:38] to talk about who this guy is and why [03:41] this campaign, and this is the important [03:43] part of the video. This is really why I [03:45] made it. Not just to talk about a [03:46] headline, but [03:49] I want to I want us to be smart and [03:52] let's think about the question, why is [03:55] this story happening now? Why did this [03:57] celebrity letter get signed and [04:00] published right now? Because I don't [04:02] think it's an accident. And I don't [04:04] think that a single person who signed [04:05] the letter has any idea what they just [04:07] did. Okay, let's get into it. So, uh, [04:09] this isn't the first letter, by the way. [04:11] This isn't the beginning of the free [04:12] Marwan Bargoodi campaign involving woke [04:16] progressive celebrities. Brian Eno, the [04:19] musician, was one of the early [04:21] signitories on the free Bargoodi [04:23] campaign long before this new letter. [04:25] And he compared Bargoodi to Nelson [04:27] Mandela, right? He said that just as [04:30] international pressure freed Mandela, it [04:33] can free Bargoodi too. You know, because [04:36] because Bargoodi is, you know, you know, [04:38] like Mandela, he's a freedom fighter, [04:40] right? That's how Brian Eno described [04:42] him. So, it's an emotionally powerful [04:44] comparison. It but it's almost the [04:46] opposite of true. See, Mandela was [04:48] convicted of sabotage, of property [04:51] damage, not murder. And once he had the [04:54] chance to lead, he renounced violence. [04:56] uh he sat down with his former jailers [04:58] and he built a truth and reconciliation [05:00] process instead of a revenge campaign [05:02] and that's why he's remembered the way [05:03] he's remembered. Now he was no he was no [05:06] angel and there's a lot I don't want to [05:07] get into the whole Mandela issue. I'm [05:09] not the biggest fan but Mandela was not [05:13] Marwan Bargoodi. Bargoodi is convicted [05:16] of five murders and he still maintains [05:20] publicly that armed resistance, [05:22] terrorism, killing civilians is [05:24] legitimate. that July Israel prison [05:27] service report that I just quoted from I [05:30] is is describing the fact that he's [05:33] trying to unify Fatak and Kamas under [05:35] one leadership because he sees Kamas as [05:37] a natural partner against Israel. Okay, [05:41] so that's number one. [05:44] And [05:46] Bargooduri is not I mean he's not [05:49] isolated. He's the most popular guy in [05:52] in the Palestinian cause. And let's look [05:55] at the people around him. His relative [05:57] Abdullah Bargoti is the kamas bomb maker [06:00] responsible for the device that was used [06:03] in the 2001 Sabarro pizzeria bombing in [06:06] Jerusalem. 15 people were murdered. [06:08] Several of them children. Was at a [06:11] restaurant in downtown Jerusalem on a [06:12] Friday afternoon. [06:14] And then you have Omar Barguti who's [06:16] co-founder of BDS, the boycott, devest [06:19] and sanction movement. He built his [06:21] entire career boycotting Israel while [06:23] living in Israel himself with permanent [06:26] residency. He studied at Tel Aviv [06:28] University, which is one of the schools [06:30] that the BDS movement says to boycott. [06:33] And he's also got tax evasion [06:35] allegations against him, like [06:39] somewhere between half a million and a [06:40] million dollars. And then you have [06:42] Marwan Bargoodi's son [06:45] who is also part of the whole brand and [06:47] is you know be an up andcoming leader in [06:49] the resistance movement. So this is a [06:52] terrorist family. They've built their [06:53] entire identity across generations [06:56] around violence and now they're being [06:59] turned into Marwan's being turned into [07:01] this symbol of liberation and uh you [07:04] know he's he's a political prisoner. [07:09] So let's pull back the camera and talk [07:10] about a bigger part of this issue [07:12] because you know you had that Mandela [07:14] Burggoodi comparison which works on [07:16] these woke progressive people and that's [07:18] all part of the apartheid framing right [07:20] you know South Africa was apartheid and [07:22] Israel and and Palestinians that's [07:24] apartheid so there you get the Mandela [07:27] comparison so where does the apartheid [07:29] comparison uh uh wording for this [07:32] conflict come from for this situation [07:34] come from? It actually was introduced [07:38] by uh in in 1997. It was introduced at [07:42] the organization of Islamic cooperation [07:44] summit in Thran where Iran pushed this [07:48] language for for the Israel situation. [07:50] They pushed the language of apartheid [07:53] and then in the 2001 Durban conference [07:56] it it was again used you know they they [07:59] talked about apartheid that Israel is an [08:00] apartheid state and that's where it got [08:04] into the lexicon and now you hear it all [08:05] the time Israel apartheid Israel [08:07] apartheid and then Israel apartheid [08:10] bargoodi is Mandela [08:14] now in this progressive woke framework [08:17] that these Hollywood actors live in [08:21] uh facts about what someone like [08:24] Bargoodi actually did don't really [08:27] matter. Right? The only question that [08:28] matters for these people is what side of [08:31] the oppressor oppressed [08:33] line are you on. Right? If you get the [08:36] label as oppressed, it doesn't matter [08:39] what heinous thing you did. You're still [08:40] a hero. [08:42] Right? It doesn't matter. You can murder [08:43] people. You're a hero. And that's what's [08:46] happening here. Whether Bargoodi [08:48] personally ordered the murder of [08:49] civilians is beside the point for these [08:51] people. He's Palestinian. He's [08:53] imprisoned by Israel. Palestinians are [08:56] are are the are the oppressed. Israel's [08:59] the oppressor. Therefore, Bargoodi is a [09:01] virtuous political prisoner. That's the [09:03] way it works. [09:05] Now, Thursday's letter isn't a reaction [09:08] to anything new in Bargoodi's case. It's [09:11] just the latest wave of this campaign. I [09:13] mentioned that there was other letters [09:15] earlier. Bargoodi's family launched this [09:18] campaign a little less than a year ago [09:20] uh in towards the end of 2025 I think [09:23] December under the banner free Marwan [09:26] and it was co it was a coordinated plan [09:29] to recruit highprofile names in waves [09:32] music film literature sports academia [09:36] the first wave had over 200 names [09:38] Margaret Atwood Javier Bardam Sting [09:42] Steven Fry I kind of like Sting's music [09:45] But there you go. And there was an event [09:48] in Rome in January, a free Marwan event. [09:51] And there were more events across the UK [09:53] and France since then. There was an [09:55] attempt to put up a statue honoring [09:57] Marwan Bar, a statue of Marwan Burgoodi [09:59] in London. That was uh it didn't happen. [10:03] It was stopped at the last minute. [10:06] And now here we are in August and we [10:09] have a new block of celebrities, the [10:11] Marvel cast. 20 of the most recognizable [10:14] faces on the planet signing the exact [10:17] same boilerplate letter [10:19] at an obviously planned moment. Now, [10:23] none of these actors independently [10:25] discovered the Bargoodi case. Obviously, [10:29] someone sent them a form or to their PR [10:32] team, to their agent. And I'm sure it [10:35] didn't mention the Sabarro bombing or [10:37] the other murders that Bargoodi was [10:40] involved in, the five murder [10:42] convictions. I'm sure it didn't mention [10:44] the July report that said that he's [10:46] trying to merge with Kamas after doing [10:49] well in the Fatak internal elections [10:51] from prison. But they signed the letter [10:53] anyway because signing a letter like [10:55] this doesn't cost them anything. You [10:57] know, of you know, it it buys a kind of [11:00] social credit. you know, these useful [11:02] idiots uh just said, "Hey," you know, [11:05] they probably just said, "Hey, who else [11:06] signed it?" "Oh, Sting signed it. Brian [11:08] Eno signed it. Margaret Atwood signed [11:10] it." Oh, and it becomes like a a [11:12] fashionable virtue signal. That's the [11:15] way these people operate. [11:19] So, let's ask the real question, the [11:21] more serious question that I mentioned [11:22] at the beginning of the video. Why is [11:24] this campaign timed for right now? What [11:27] is happening right now? So back in May, [11:30] Fatak that is again just to make sure we [11:33] know our terms, Fatak is the ruling [11:35] party of the Palestinian Authority. [11:37] Mahmud Abbas, the head of the [11:38] Palestinian Authority, is also the head [11:40] of Fatak. That was Yaser Arafat's group. [11:43] So the Palestinian Authority is sort of [11:45] a one party leadership, meaning there [11:48] are some other parties that have a [11:49] little bit have a few seats here and [11:51] there, but all the all the power is [11:52] really with Fatak. Okay. So, FATA had [11:55] its own internal central committee [11:57] elections and guess who won? Guess who [12:00] was on the top of the internal for the [12:03] vote for the new in for the new [12:04] leadership of Fatak? Marwan Barguti from [12:07] prison. [12:09] And you may have seen a video I made [12:11] about a week ago, a week and a half ago [12:13] about the latest polling uh in in Judea [12:16] and Samaria known as the West Bank and [12:18] Gaza, the polling of of the Arabs, the [12:20] Palestinian Arabs. [12:23] If you haven't watched that video, you [12:24] want you want to see that. Now, I'm [12:27] going to read to you from this poll. [12:30] Let's pull it up on screen. [12:34] Oh, that's wrong. [12:37] Here it is. Here's the poll. [12:41] So, there's a poll from August 12th, [12:43] recent poll. And I'm just going to read [12:44] you these two paragraphs. [12:47] Palestinian political landscape. The [12:50] survey points to continued [12:51] dissatisfaction with the Palestinian [12:53] political leadership, but also to a [12:56] significant reshuffleling of political [12:58] preferences. Marwan Bargooduri [13:01] is the strongest potential successor to [13:03] President Mahmud Abbas, preferred by 39% [13:07] of those pled, followed by Kamas leader [13:10] Khalil Al- Kaya at 16%, Muhammad Daklan [13:13] at 15% and Mustafa Bargooduri, another [13:15] family member at 6%. In a hypothetical [13:18] presidential election, hypothetical [13:22] presidential election, aren't they [13:23] supposed to have one in 2027? Yes. In a [13:26] hypothetical presidential election, [13:28] Marwan Bargoodi would would receive 54% [13:31] from among likely voters. [13:34] Khalil Kaya 26% [13:38] and Mahmud Abbas only 14%. [13:43] Overwhelming landslide choice. Marwan [13:47] Bargoodi. At the same time, 79% of those [13:50] pled want Abbas Makm Abbas to resign, [13:53] confirming the persistence of [13:55] exceptionally high dissatisfaction with [13:57] his leadership. Kamas has also [13:59] experienced a significant decline in [14:01] popularity. Its overall support has [14:03] fallen to 24%. [14:06] Kamas is running at a 24% approval [14:08] rating compared with 35% 10 months [14:11] earlier, while Fatak remains at 24%. [14:14] They're also down in the toilet. Among [14:17] likely voters, Fat would receive 32%, [14:19] kamas 29% with third forces receiving [14:22] 18%. [14:25] Okay. [14:27] These findings suggest that [14:29] dissatisfaction is increasingly directed [14:30] not towards one faction alone, but [14:32] toward the broader Palestinian political [14:35] system. Now, why is all this relevant? [14:39] Because there's a leadership vacuum. [14:41] What does this polling show? It shows [14:43] that the existing leadership whether [14:44] kamas or fatak the people are are done [14:47] with the with the current leadership. [14:49] But it also shows that Marwan Bargoodi [14:51] is extremely popular. [14:54] A man serving five life sentences for [14:56] murder by a wide margin is the most [14:58] popular political figure among [15:00] Palestinians today. Now there the [15:02] Palestinians are scheduled to hold [15:05] legislative elections on November 28th. [15:08] Oh, it's coming up soon. And this is [15:10] going to be their first election since [15:12] 2006. And presidential elections are [15:15] expected in early 2027. [15:18] And the various factions including kamas [15:21] who are all suffering in their [15:23] popularity are exploring a unified [15:25] coalition to produce new leadership. And [15:28] Burggoodi keeps coming up as the name [15:30] that that coalition would rally around. [15:34] And legal experts say, people who know [15:37] the rules there say that he could [15:39] actually run from his prison cell unless [15:41] the Palestinian Authority said he's [15:43] ineligible. [15:46] And here's here's another piece that [15:48] makes the timing of this even more [15:51] interesting. [15:52] This week, a couple days after their [15:54] letter, [15:56] Fatak and Kamas delegations are in Cairo [16:00] under Egyptian mediation [16:03] in the most serious push in years to end [16:06] the split between Fatak and Kamas that's [16:09] lasted since 2007. [16:12] And it's specifically designed to bring [16:14] unity in the runup to the November [16:17] elections. I mentioned this in the video [16:19] I made a little while ago about the [16:22] meeting between Erdogan and Abbas that [16:24] Erdogan was talking about how he hopes [16:25] the new election of the in the [16:27] Palestinian Authority brings unity. What [16:30] he meant by unity and I said this at the [16:32] time is unity between Kamas and Fatak [16:35] and Kamas has already said that it wants [16:36] to run as part of a broad coalition. So [16:39] now let's put all the pieces together. [16:42] If Fatak and Kamas, [16:44] neither of which in its current state is [16:46] very popular, but Marwan Burggoodi is [16:48] extremely popular, but if Fatak and [16:50] Kamas build a unity ticket, whose name [16:53] is going to go on the top of that [16:54] ticket? [16:57] It's not going to be Mahmud Abbas who's [16:58] 90 years old and 79% of the people [17:02] according to that poll want him to [17:04] resign. He's not going to be at the top [17:06] of the ticket. People want to replace [17:09] him. [17:10] And you can they're not they're probably [17:12] not going to put a kamas figure. They're [17:14] not going to put Khalil al- Kha the head [17:15] of kamas at the top of the ticket. Now [17:17] that would be a really bad look for the [17:18] world. Remember part of the whole agenda [17:21] of these elections is to convince the [17:24] world that the Palestinians have [17:26] reformed and now have a free and fair [17:28] election and they're ready to govern [17:30] themselves. You can't have a kamas guy [17:32] at the top of the ticket. Even if [17:33] they're unifying, [17:35] it would be a really bad look. [17:39] So, who's the perfect choice? Marwan [17:41] Bargoodi. [17:43] He won Fatak's own vote. He's [17:48] working to unify Fatak and Hamas. So [17:50] says Israeli intelligence. [17:53] And he sees Hamas as a natural partner. [17:55] He polls better than anyone in either [17:58] group. He may be the only figure that [18:00] both factions could rally around. And at [18:02] the exact moment that this letter comes [18:05] out calling to free Marwan Barguti, [18:09] there's meetings going on in Cairo to [18:11] unify Kamas and Fatak ahead of these [18:14] elections that are upcoming. [18:16] Let's put the whole thing together. We [18:18] have this global campaign to rebrand a [18:20] convicted mass murderer as a persecuted [18:23] Mandela style freedom icon. [18:27] And this campaign [18:30] has this new wave of celebrity names [18:33] just as Palestinian politics is heading [18:36] into its first election cycle in 20 [18:38] years. [18:41] And that letter comes out in the same [18:43] just a week a couple days before the two [18:46] rival factions are negotiating unity [18:49] that Marwan Burggoodi is positioned to [18:51] lead and has been calling for. [18:55] I mean, maybe this is all a big [18:57] coincidence. [19:00] Look, [19:01] international free the political [19:03] prisoner campaigns are designed to [19:05] manufacture legitimacy. That's why you [19:07] get celebrities to to join. You see, if [19:11] all these bigname celebrities, people [19:13] that that people, you know, that that a [19:16] lot of [19:18] a lot of the population kind of trusts [19:20] and likes and and relates to and sees [19:22] them as mainstream and cool. If they're [19:25] all behind Marwan Bargoodi, it's very [19:27] easy for young people to be behind Maron [19:29] Bgodi. We're going to see young people [19:30] wearing Maron Bargoodi t-shirts and it's [19:33] going to be a thing. [19:35] And that creates an air of legitimacy. [19:40] Right? If you if the world spends a year [19:42] hearing that Burggoodi is a political [19:44] prisoner, [19:45] that reputation becomes the reality. [19:51] And whether or not Israel ever releases [19:53] him, that's an asset. 20 Marvel actors [19:56] just did months of unpaid campaign work [19:59] for a Palestinian election, [20:02] and I'll bet that none of them even [20:04] realize what they did. So, I'm going to [20:06] make a bold prediction. Okay? I'm not I [20:08] don't like making bold predictions. I [20:10] could be wrong, [20:12] but here's what I think is going to [20:13] happen. I think they're going to let him [20:15] run in that 2027 presidential election. [20:19] And I think he's going to win. [20:22] He's going to win by a lot. [20:24] and watch how fast the narrative is [20:26] going to shift because it the narrative [20:30] will no longer be that Marwan Bargoodi [20:33] convicted terrorist is serving five life [20:36] sentences or that he's just this this [20:38] Palestinian guy who's in a prison. No, [20:40] it the narrative will become that the [20:43] elected leader of the Palestinian people [20:46] is sitting in an Israeli prison. [20:49] That's the sentence that this entire [20:50] campaign is leading up to. [20:54] Because [20:56] once the world can say that with a [20:58] straight face, the elected leader, the [21:01] chosen leader, the democratically in a [21:04] free and fair election, the [21:05] democratically elected leader of the [21:07] Palestinian people is sitting in an [21:08] Israeli prison. [21:11] The political prisoner label will be [21:13] ramped up uh more than a few notches. [21:18] Israel's imprisoning the democratically [21:20] elected leader. [21:22] Now, even if I'm wrong on the timeline, [21:24] watch the run-up to the November 28th [21:26] elections. I've talked about them [21:28] already. Bargoodi is going to be cast as [21:31] the great unifier that Fatak and Kamas [21:34] can rally around and it's going to be [21:37] right on schedule and and there's going [21:39] to be this this and that's going to get [21:42] wrapped up in the other narrative that [21:44] I've talked about which is that the [21:45] elections themselves the fact that there [21:47] are Palestinian elections is going to be [21:49] held up as the proof as the evidence [21:52] that Palestinian governance is [21:54] reforming. Look, we have free and fair [21:57] elections. democracy in among the [21:59] Palestinians. That's it's going to be [22:01] it's going to be uh labeled as the [22:03] reform that we've been waiting for, the [22:06] reform that the Trump plan has been [22:08] demanding as a precondition for what [22:10] comes next in Gaza. [22:13] They're going to hold an election. [22:14] They're going to point to that and [22:16] they're going to say, "We've reformed." [22:19] We'll see if this comes true. Now, one [22:21] closing thought about these celebrities. [22:24] I'm not saying that this guy Cumberbatch [22:27] or Mark Ruffalo sat down and thought [22:30] through the Palestinian succession [22:33] politics and said, "Oh, I like the [22:34] Bargoodi guy." They didn't think about [22:36] this at all. [22:38] They were handed or their their PR staff [22:41] was handed a letter [22:45] with none of the relevant facts. [22:48] And probably the only facts they knew [22:50] were who else already signed it. and [22:53] they signed it without even doing 30 [22:55] seconds of homework. [22:57] And that's what these people do. They [22:59] outsource their moral judgment to the [23:01] mob. [23:04] And it just happens to line up with the [23:06] electoral interests of [23:09] this terrorist organization that has [23:11] never renounced [23:13] murdering civilians. Anyway, that's it [23:16] for this one. I hope you found it [23:18] useful. Uh, and uh, please like, share, [23:21] subscribe, do all that things.
