Israel and Persia weren’t always enemies. Persia is actually where some of the biggest moments of Jewish survival happened. Cyrus the Great (Persian king) is the one who let the Jewish people go back to Jerusalem and rebuild the Temple. And the story of Esther happened in Persia too! Esther and Mordechai's tombs are still in Iran today. The truth is that the Persian people are not the regime. The ayatollahs don’t represent Persia’s heart and if Iran ever became free again, it wouldn’t just change Iran. We think it would shake the entire Middle East.
