Transcript [00:00] Well, Trump is once again saying that a [00:02] deal is imminent that it could be [00:04] reached within a couple of days and [00:06] and you know, everything is going fine [00:08] and you know, the shooting is stopped. [00:10] That's this is the way Trump is talking [00:11] now. This is what we see in this in this [00:14] news item that I have on on the screen [00:16] in front of you. Take a look at this. [00:18] This is from the Jerusalem Post from [00:19] today. [00:22] And the headline reads, Trump says US to [00:25] finalize Iran deal within days, achieve [00:28] total victory within 2 weeks. And he [00:30] talks a little bit about how they're [00:31] going to do this even if Israel doesn't [00:33] like it. It serves American interests. [00:35] Fair enough. [00:37] And then it says, I don't think Israel [00:38] will go back to fighting Iran. I don't [00:39] think it's going to happen. Everything [00:40] is going well. [00:42] Speaking to reporters, Trump said that a [00:44] deal with Iran could be completed within [00:45] two or three days adding that Iran and [00:47] Israel have been trading blows with [00:49] force and now both have agreed through [00:51] me to stop. We're in the final stages of [00:54] what will be a very good deal that would [00:55] not allow for nuclear weapons in any [00:57] way, shape or form. [00:59] Okay, that's that's Trump, you know, [01:01] being being Trump, being all optimistic. [01:03] What I want to do in this video now is I [01:05] want to go through a few excerpts of an [01:08] interview that General Jack Keane gave [01:10] on Fox News yesterday. [01:13] And use that as a way of commenting on [01:15] where I believe we currently are. Okay, [01:17] so let's start in with the first clip of [01:19] General Jack Keane. [01:22] Here we go. [01:24] >> The promise once again [01:26] of negotiations, we're close to our [01:28] deal, close to a deal. [01:31] The president has more information than [01:33] you and I and everybody else put [01:35] together. And we're hopeful that that is [01:37] the case. But if it's not the case, [01:40] clearly the preferred option after eight [01:43] weeks of frustration must be to return [01:47] to military operations. 10 days, 14 [01:50] days, let's finish this. Let's put them [01:52] in the most vulnerable position they [01:54] have ever been in and remind ourselves [01:57] what is President Trump trying to truly [02:00] accomplish here. [02:01] It is the strategic reset of the entire [02:04] region for generations to come. This is [02:07] about peace and stability in the region. [02:09] So, the Gulf states, so Israel, so all [02:13] the countries in the region can have [02:15] finally [02:16] stability to go forward with economic [02:19] deals, prosperity, Abraham Accords, and [02:22] Iran is no longer the predator and actor [02:25] that they have been for 47 years and in [02:28] their introduction with their pointed [02:30] out how they've been a killing machine, [02:33] not only against their own people, but [02:35] against the United States. That is what [02:37] we are trying to stop here. And I give [02:41] credit to the president. He hasn't given [02:42] up on it. [02:44] He's frustrated to be sure, but you got [02:46] to remind ourselves who are we dealing [02:48] with here? [02:49] These are diabolical, tyrannical, [02:52] ideological believers in this regime. [02:55] They are running the place. They are [02:57] evil and that's the reality of it. At [03:00] the end of the day, I truly believe what [03:02] is going to likely come down to [03:05] is having to go after them and to kill [03:07] as many of them as we possibly can, [03:09] capture some if we can, but take all the [03:12] instruments of tyranny away from them [03:14] once and for all. It is likely the [03:17] solution that has to come at some point. [03:21] Okay. [03:24] >> I like General Jack Keane and my [03:27] attitude about what should happen here [03:29] generally lines up with his, [03:31] but I think he's being overly [03:32] optimistic, maybe even a little [03:34] Pollyannaish [03:35] here. When he says we have to remind [03:37] ourselves what President Trump is trying [03:38] to accomplish here, he's trying to reset [03:40] the regional order so that all these [03:42] countries can live in, you know, in [03:43] prosperity and and pursue peace and [03:45] Abraham Accords and la-di-da-di-da, [03:47] everything's wonderful. [03:49] Uh and And true [03:51] to some extent. Let's first give credit [03:54] where it's due. [03:56] If you remove Iran [03:58] completely, let's say the regime is [04:00] completely Let's say we get what we [04:01] really want. The regime is completely [04:03] removed [04:04] and there's no longer a proxy network, [04:06] there's no longer a funding apparatus, [04:08] there's no longer a terrorist state, [04:10] and that entire global apparatus [04:12] atrophies because there's no more [04:14] Iranian regime behind it. I guess it [04:16] would still continue to operate as, you [04:18] know, various international terrorist [04:19] groups, but it wouldn't be the same, [04:21] nowhere near. Okay, let's say we remove [04:22] Iran [04:23] as a threat, as a regional threat. [04:26] So, he's saying here that, "Oh, the [04:28] neighboring countries will now suddenly [04:29] be able to just breathe easy and live in [04:31] peace, and there won't be a bully and a [04:32] threat anymore." Now, to some extent, [04:33] it's true because the Saudis aren't [04:36] going to launch any terrorist attacks or [04:37] fund terrorist groups. [04:39] The The Kuwaitis won't, and the Omanis [04:41] won't, and the [04:44] you know, the [04:45] most of the countries in the region just [04:47] do want to do business. [04:49] And even if they don't like the West or [04:52] don't like Israel, they do to different [04:54] degrees, [04:58] they're not going to cause the type of [05:00] disruptions and killing [05:02] that the Iranian regime does. [05:05] On the other hand, [05:07] it's not like the Turks and the Qataris [05:11] and the Shiite militias in Iraq who [05:13] basically taken over that country [05:15] are about to go away anytime soon from [05:18] their nefarious activities. It's not [05:20] like they're going to stop funding and [05:22] supporting terrorist organizations. [05:26] And also, there's the [05:28] you know, he he makes it seem like [05:30] everyone in the region region is looking [05:32] forward to the Iranian regime being [05:34] gone. [05:35] Not so simple, as I pointed out many [05:37] times on this channel. [05:38] If the Iranian regime falls and Iran [05:41] becomes a free, [05:43] open society [05:45] with free markets and uh, [05:48] and freedom of religion and uh, and it's [05:51] pro-Western. [05:53] That is actually a threat to a lot of [05:55] the neighboring countries. It's a threat [05:56] to them because they are all Islamic [05:59] countries where there is not freedom of [06:02] religion, [06:03] they're not democracies, their [06:05] populations are not as educated [06:08] and not nearly as large as the Iranian [06:11] population. Iran would emerge as a [06:14] threat to them, a domestic threat to [06:16] them and you know, if there's if there's [06:18] this free open society with this with a [06:20] growing and freely operating Christian [06:23] church, [06:24] that poses a domestic threat to them. [06:27] And there's also the distinct [06:28] possibility that in the collapse of the [06:31] regime, it would turn into a lot of [06:33] bloody internal fighting. We don't know [06:35] how it's going to go down. We don't know [06:36] what type of chaos it's going to [06:37] produce. We don't know if there's going [06:38] to be a refugee crisis. [06:41] These are there's a lot of unknowns [06:42] here. [06:43] And he's making it seem like, you know, [06:44] if we if we remove the regime, [06:45] everything's fine. Now, don't get me [06:47] wrong. I want to remove the regime. My [06:49] interest is my country. I live in Israel [06:51] and I want Israel to be safe and the [06:52] best way to make Israel safe is to bring [06:54] down this regime, for sure. [06:57] But he makes it seem like it's in [06:59] everyone's best interest to bring down [07:00] the regime [07:01] and we have to remind ourselves that [07:03] that's what we're doing here. Even if it [07:04] even if that is Trump's objective, he [07:06] seems to have backed away from it. He [07:08] doesn't talk about that regime change [07:10] very much anymore. [07:12] Is that tactical or is that real? I [07:14] don't know. [07:15] But uh, yeah, it definitely [07:18] you know, it's worth thinking about what [07:19] what Jack Keane is saying here. [07:21] And when he says that it's going to come [07:23] down to military action, we have to kill [07:24] as many of them as possible, capture [07:26] some if we can, but take all the [07:28] instruments of tyranny away from them [07:29] once and for all. Those are Jack's [07:31] uh, General Keane's exact words. [07:35] Um, [07:36] I don't think that's what Trump is [07:37] gunning for here. [07:39] Uh, now he says, Jack Keane says he [07:41] doesn't think there's going to be a [07:42] deal. [07:44] Got to remind ourselves who we're [07:45] dealing with, as he says here. [07:49] But, uh we'll see. We'll see if if [07:51] President Trump actually has the same [07:53] clear-eyed understanding of who he's [07:55] dealing with. [07:56] And I'm not so sure he does, uh [07:58] personally. [07:59] Let's go to uh let's go to the next clip [08:01] of Jack Keane from the same interview. [08:03] >> We should remind ourselves he looks at [08:05] war as a horrific thing, which it really [08:07] is. [08:07] >> Mhm. [08:08] >> And he speaks to the killing on both [08:10] sides is something that we should stop. [08:13] But, the problem is who are we really [08:16] dealing with here? And this is a very [08:18] different uh evil that we have to [08:20] recognize, and we're giving it time. [08:23] What Besant and his economic team is [08:26] doing is extraordinary, but also I I [08:29] remind ourselves who these people are. [08:32] The amount of economic peril that we can [08:34] impose on the regime and on the people, [08:37] they don't care about the suffering. [08:39] They'll absorb that. [08:41] Uh because their strategy here is to [08:43] drag this out as much as possible as we [08:45] can. They believe in their head [08:48] that we get close to the midterm [08:49] elections, it's unlikely the president [08:52] would conduct any military operations [08:54] whatsoever. That is what their belief [08:56] system is. I think they're likely to [08:59] miscalculate again. You know the [09:01] president, I don't know him as well as [09:02] you do, but I do have some sense of him, [09:05] for sure. [09:05] >> They sell him short just on political [09:08] grounds, they're going to be completely [09:10] wrong. He said as much. He said he don't [09:12] care about the midterms. He probably [09:14] cares about the midterms, but they're [09:15] not till November. We're still in June. [09:17] That's a long time period to take [09:19] additional military action, additional [09:22] economic action, if you may, additional [09:24] decapitation action. There's many months [09:27] left to do that. [09:28] >> We have evidence of this kind of [09:30] miscalculation. Prior to the 12-day war, [09:33] the president gave them a 60-day [09:35] deadline. It kind of rings because we're [09:38] about to go into one of those. [09:40] And he tried to negotiate the deal with [09:43] them then that he's attempting to do [09:44] now. On the 61st day, [09:48] he green-lighted Israel to begin the [09:50] 12-day war, which he participated in [09:53] himself around the the 10th or 11th day. [09:57] That is evidence of what the president [09:59] means when he says, "I am still going to [10:03] use military force if you don't make a [10:05] deal." I think that's the path that [10:08] we're likely on. And as we've said [10:10] before, he has information we don't [10:12] have. If we can get this deal, and you [10:15] and I have underscored the importance of [10:16] this deal, no money. [10:19] >> That's right. [10:19] >> We cannot finance the recovery. [10:21] >> Right. [10:21] >> We cannot finance the recovery. The here [10:24] I I cannot agree more [10:27] with [10:28] with Jack Keane that the you know, he [10:31] he's both at the beginning and at the [10:33] end of this clip, he talked about the [10:35] financial aspect, about what [10:37] what the Treasury Secretary Scott [10:39] Bennett and his economic team are doing. [10:41] He talked about how extraordinary that [10:43] is. But then he also pointed out in the [10:45] middle there that the economic suffering [10:47] that we can impose on the regime doesn't [10:49] really impact them in the way that we [10:50] hope because they don't really care [10:52] about the suffering of their own people. [10:55] And [10:56] you know, this this point about not [10:58] financing the recovery, I want to show [10:59] you a clip which I just dug up, [11:02] um which I've mentioned before. And this [11:04] is This is at the NATO summit. [11:07] This is President Trump speaking at the [11:09] NATO summit [11:11] way back in [11:14] in June. Just after the 12-day war [11:16] concluded. It's literally the day after [11:18] it ended. It's This was published on [11:20] June 25th. The 12-day war started on [11:23] June 13th. It's right at the very end of [11:25] the 12-day war. [11:26] And And check out this exchange that [11:29] President Trump has with a reporter [11:30] here. [11:32] Oh, I should uh I should make this [11:33] bigger again. Here we go. [11:35] >> Yesterday you said China can now [11:37] continue to purchase oil from Iran. Are [11:40] you giving up on your maximum pressure [11:43] campaign? Cuz there's sanctions right [11:45] now. [11:45] >> With who? [11:46] >> On Iran. [11:47] >> Well, look, they just had a war. [11:50] The war was fought They fought it [11:51] bravely. [11:53] I'm not giving up. They They're in the [11:54] oil business. I mean, I could stop it if [11:56] I wanted to. I'd sell China the oil [11:59] myself. I don't want to do that. They're [12:01] going to need money to put that country [12:02] back into shape. [12:06] They're going to need money to put that [12:07] country back into shape. [12:09] So, I'm going to allow them to sell [12:12] their oil to China. That was what Trump [12:14] said at the end of the 12-day war. [12:16] And yeah, that's what he said there. [12:19] So, he you know, Trump definitely [12:22] understands the value of the economic [12:24] blockade and the and the sanctions and [12:27] everything he's doing to their economy [12:29] and what's got best his team is doing, [12:30] freezing assets. [12:33] But he we cannot fall into this trap [12:34] again where Trump gives them some sort [12:36] of economic relief under the guise of [12:38] helping them rebuild their country [12:39] because we know what they did with it. [12:41] After the 12-day war, what did they do [12:42] with all of that economic relief that [12:44] Trump gave them, allowing them to sell [12:45] their oil to China? [12:47] They used it all to ramp up missile [12:49] production. They went from approximately [12:51] 30 missiles [12:53] per month that they were producing to [12:54] close to 100 missiles per month that [12:55] they were producing and they were [12:56] accelerating at that. [12:59] They They poured it all back into their [13:01] military [13:02] into their military equipment. [13:04] They did nothing for their people so [13:06] much so that their economy [13:08] uh went to the verge of collapse and led [13:10] to protests that almost brought down the [13:12] regime. People didn't have water to [13:13] drink. [13:14] Didn't have electricity and yet they [13:16] were pouring all the money they made [13:18] into their military. [13:19] They're going to do this again and [13:21] that's why it's so important what Jack [13:22] King just said here. We cannot finance [13:25] the recovery. We cannot do it. It's uh [13:28] it's got to be it's got to be a red [13:30] line. So, I hope Trump sticks to that. [13:33] Uh last clip of Jack Keane here. [13:37] >> Oh, even on the JCPOA deal, [13:40] I mean, you know, the secret sites that [13:42] we bombed during the 12-day war, [13:44] those two to three secret sites, where [13:46] did we get those in from? We got those [13:48] from Iranian informants. [13:50] >> Mhm. [13:50] >> That they were building secret sites [13:53] that the IAEA was not inspecting. [13:55] And to do what? To create a nuclear [13:58] bomb. [13:59] That If we If they sign a deal, [14:02] I'm absolutely convinced that the what [14:04] they will do is begin to recover. This [14:06] is why the money is so important. You [14:08] don't give them the money to recover. [14:10] And they'll try to reverse everything [14:11] that they agreed to in the deal. That is [14:14] their history. And we have to look at [14:16] that coldly in terms of who they really [14:19] are. [14:20] >> I was also pleased yesterday to hear the [14:22] president repeat his pledge to go after [14:25] the enriched uranium one way or another. [14:28] As part of the deal or not, but he's not [14:30] dropping that off his various, you know, [14:33] red lines. And I think that's I don't [14:35] see him budging, sir. I don't see him [14:37] budging. And if he doesn't budge and the [14:40] situation doesn't change, then the [14:42] military option comes about. [14:44] >> Yeah, it's the seminal part of the deal [14:46] because it it is the existential threat. [14:49] Not just [14:50] to the Israelis. I mean, we're going to [14:51] remind our audience [14:53] why is the nuclear thing so important to [14:56] us. Obviously, we fear they would use a [14:58] weapon against Israel. But what would [15:00] happen? [15:01] The Arab states and the others countries [15:03] in the region, once they know that [15:05] they're going to have a nuclear weapon, [15:07] what are they going to do? They're going [15:08] to get nuclear weapons. [15:10] That is the only defense they have. And [15:12] I take caution from what Henry Kissinger [15:14] said to me once and more than once. [15:17] Jack, the most serious [15:20] geopolitical event in my lifetime is not [15:23] World War II, it's Iran having a nuclear [15:26] weapon leading to nuclear proliferation [15:28] in the region and likely [15:30] the first nuclear exchange in the [15:32] history of man. [15:34] That is something we cannot ever permit [15:36] to happen. [15:37] >> 100% [15:39] >> Well, that was such I think that this [15:41] was such a powerful point. Um and it's [15:43] really the main one that jumped out on [15:45] me when I decided to go ahead and use [15:47] this clip and make the video that that [15:49] that we're watching right now. [15:51] Sorry, I got this [15:52] light here. [15:54] Um [15:56] yeah, that's uh [15:58] that's such a it's such a strong point. [16:00] If Iran gets a nuclear weapon, [16:02] then the Arab countries in the region, [16:03] they just saw what Iran did with their [16:05] missiles firing at them, [16:08] uh [16:09] they will seek a nuclear weapon. Do we [16:12] So, Iran getting a nuclear weapon, this [16:14] is this is the this is the key takeaway [16:15] here. [16:17] It's the domino effect. Do we Do we [16:19] really nuclear proliferation throughout [16:22] the Middle East? This is what we're [16:23] going to get if Iran gets a nuclear [16:25] weapon. So, when people say, "Well, [16:26] what's the big deal if Iran gets a [16:27] nuclear weapon?" And I've made the point [16:29] before that these aren't the Pakistanis [16:30] or the North Koreans or the Russians [16:32] having a nuclear weapon, who are not [16:33] good people, [16:35] but they're not apocalyptic. [16:39] They will actually use the weapon if [16:40] they have it. [16:42] So, uh you know, that's [16:44] that's something that we have to bear in [16:45] mind here. Someone's [16:47] hammering next door, it sounds like. [16:50] Anyway, this is this this is such an [16:51] important point that we have to remember [16:52] whenever we're making the argument that [16:54] also Iran getting a nuclear weapon [16:56] doesn't just mean missiles with you [16:57] know, with nuclear warheads on them that [16:59] could provide some kind of defense [17:01] umbrella for them. It also could mean [17:04] all kinds of dirty bombs and uh and [17:06] tactical nuclear weapons that could be [17:07] in the hands of their terrorist proxies [17:09] around the world. [17:10] The nuclear proliferation that could [17:12] come from Iran getting nuclear weapon, [17:13] again, both from the response of their [17:15] neighboring states and from the fact [17:17] that they have a terror proxy network [17:19] around the world. North Korea doesn't [17:20] have a terror proxy network around the [17:22] world. [17:23] >> [snorts] [17:23] >> Pakistan doesn't have a terror proxy [17:25] network around the world. Iran does. [17:30] If they get a nuclear weapon, what does [17:31] that mean? Hezbollah gets a nuclear [17:32] weapon? The Houthis get a nuclear [17:34] weapon? [17:36] What does that mean? [17:38] So, these are all points we're thinking [17:39] about. [17:41] Okay. [17:42] That'll be it for this one. Thanks for [17:43] watching. Let's just pray that [17:45] God gives the courage and and wisdom to [17:47] Trump [17:48] to make the right moves at this critical [17:49] time. [17:50] Keep praying. God bless.
