Transcript [00:00] Hey everyone, I want to show you a clip [00:02] from a conversation between Katie [00:03] Hopkins and Glenn Beck. Now, Katie [00:06] Hopkins is a British commentator. She's [00:08] very outspoken. She's fearless. She's [00:10] someone who has paid a serious personal [00:12] price for saying true things out loud in [00:14] a country that has increasingly made [00:17] that dangerous. And what she says in [00:19] this clip, I think is one of the most [00:20] honest and clear-eyed assessments of [00:22] where the Western world finds itself [00:24] right now that I've heard in a very long [00:27] time. I'm going to play the clip in [00:28] three sections and stop to comment [00:30] because there's a lot here [00:32] and I don't want any of it to slip past [00:33] you. The themes she raises, [00:36] the demographic asymmetry, the asymmetry [00:39] of tolerance, the willingness of one [00:42] civilization to fight and the paralysis [00:44] of another, the criminalization of [00:46] truth, these are all things I I think [00:48] about and I talk about constantly that [00:51] connect directly to everything I've been [00:52] saying on this channel about the [00:53] civilizational battle that we are in. [00:57] Now, one more thing before we start. I'm [00:58] an Israeli rabbi. I live in Israel. The [01:00] British monarchy is not my primary [01:02] concern, but the survival of Western [01:04] civilization very much is. And Katie [01:06] talks about the British monarchy a bit, [01:09] but what she's describing here is not a [01:11] British problem. It's a Western problem. [01:14] It's our problem. So, let's get into it. [01:24] Um though I believe there will come a [01:26] time not too far from now [01:29] when the British people, [01:32] true British people, will have to make [01:35] very difficult choices. [01:37] Either they will flee eastwards to [01:42] Eastern Europe with our much more [01:43] stronger Christian neighbors, Poland, [01:46] Hungary, [01:47] um those countries, [01:50] or they will seek asylum, flee, try to [01:53] come to America, or they will stand [01:56] their ground. [01:57] But certainly [01:59] the time of the Crusades will need to [02:01] come again if we are to return. What do [02:04] you mean by that? We are overrun in [02:07] every way, in every sense. [02:09] Demographically, all births uh Muslim [02:12] births outnumber births to every and all [02:15] other religion. This is no commentary on [02:17] anyone's religion. I'm just This is just [02:19] pure fact. Um mayors who are control [02:22] funding in our capital cities are [02:24] Muslim. [02:25] Mosques are not churches. A mosque is [02:28] being built at the outermost tippy-tippy [02:31] most end of Scotland and at the [02:33] furthermost reaches at the end of the [02:36] other side of our tiny country. This is [02:39] about a takeover. And of course America [02:42] understands because you have [02:44] Minneapolis, because you have Dearborn, [02:47] Michigan. And I see it all the time. [02:49] These blue centers where they absolutely [02:53] load it up with multiple occupancy homes [02:56] so that they take the power, surrounded [02:59] by a deep red countryside. You know, [03:02] Minnesota. I've spoken at rallies in the [03:04] farmlands of Minnesota. The same model, [03:07] and it is not by chance. And then the [03:09] minute they get into power, let's [03:11] change. Oh, let's change this. Let's [03:13] take the prayer out. Let's have head [03:15] dresses and head scarves. Let's change [03:17] stuff. Keep pushing. [03:19] So we will, in time, fall in some way. [03:24] And we will have to fight to get [03:26] freedoms back. And it's why you guys [03:28] know so well, it is much better to [03:31] defend the freedoms that you know [03:33] Americans are different to us because [03:36] you know your freedoms are God-given. [03:39] They're in you. [03:43] So stop right there. So Katie Hopkins [03:45] here, a British woman, not a general, [03:47] not a politician, just a British woman [03:49] who loves her country, is sitting across [03:50] from Glenn Beck and saying out [03:53] that the British people may need to [03:54] fight to reclaim their own homeland. She [03:57] invokes the Crusades, and I want you to [03:58] understand what it takes to say that. [04:01] Cuz you don't invoke the Crusades unless [04:03] you believe that it's already very late [04:05] in the game. Unless you believe that the [04:06] normal tools, elections, legislation, [04:10] protest, public debate, are no longer [04:12] sufficient. And that's what she's [04:13] saying. [04:14] Before we go any further, I want to name [04:16] something that is at the heart of [04:17] everything Katie's describing. [04:19] I think about this constantly. And [04:21] that's the asymmetry. I mentioned this [04:23] in my opening. [04:25] The first asymmetry [04:27] is [04:28] tolerance. All right, Western nations, [04:30] Britain, America, France, Germany, we're [04:32] told that [04:34] we have to be tolerant, open, welcoming, [04:37] non-judgmental towards Islam. And God [04:40] forbid if there should be anything that [04:41] smacks of any imbalance in that the the [04:45] Muslim immigrants will be the first to [04:46] say, "What are you doing? How can you [04:48] discriminate?" Fine. [04:49] But what if you go to Saudi Arabia and [04:51] you try to build a church? [04:53] What if you go to Iran and try to preach [04:54] the gospel if you're Christian? Or if [04:57] you go to Pakistan and publicly question [04:59] Islamic doctrine or any of a couple of [05:01] dozens of [05:03] Muslim countries. [05:05] In other words, the tolerance only flows [05:07] in one direction. The West is required [05:09] to extend it. Much of the Muslim world [05:11] is not required to reciprocate. [05:14] And if you point this out, you're an [05:15] Islamophobe. [05:18] Right? And that And that label shuts [05:19] down the conversation before it begins. [05:21] So, that's one asymmetry, the asymmetry [05:23] of tolerance. The second asymmetry I [05:26] want to point out is the asymmetry in [05:27] the willingness to fight. [05:30] It's It's like a terrible thing. Oh, how [05:31] can we even bring that up? Oh, it's so [05:32] inflammatory. [05:34] Katie's describing a civilization, [05:36] Islam, [05:37] that takes its beliefs seriously enough [05:39] to organize around them, to vote as a [05:41] block, to build mosques at the furthest [05:44] tip of the small island nation, [05:46] to concentrate population deliberately [05:48] in urban centers to flip political [05:50] power. What do you mean is it [05:51] deliberate? It's not paranoia. [05:54] She's describing a strategy that has a [05:56] name. It's called civilization jihad. [05:59] The Muslim Brotherhood, the Muslim [06:01] Brotherhood wrote about it explicitly in [06:03] documents that were entered into [06:05] evidence in American federal court. I've [06:08] talked about them on this channel. [06:10] The settlement of Muslims in the West, [06:12] they wrote, this is Muslim Brotherhood [06:14] documents, is a process [06:17] of civilization jihad eliminating and [06:19] destroying Western civilization from [06:22] within. [06:25] That is not my characterization. That is [06:27] a Muslim Brotherhood talking. Meanwhile, [06:29] the other civilization, ours, has been [06:32] convinced that believing in anything too [06:33] strongly is somehow, you know, [06:36] that that's immoral. That's that's [06:37] bigoted. [06:40] Standing for your own culture is [06:41] bigotry. [06:43] Defending your own borders is racism. [06:45] One side is playing to win and the other [06:48] side is playing to be nice and it's been [06:51] talked out of wanting to win. [06:54] So, that's the second asymmetry. The [06:55] asymmetry in willingness to fight. [06:58] The third asymmetry [07:00] and this one is perhaps the most [07:01] consequential of all because it [07:03] compounds with every single generation [07:05] is the asymmetry in birth rates. She [07:08] talked about that. [07:09] The modern West has been told that [07:11] children are a lifestyle choice and [07:13] they're an expense. [07:15] They're an imposition on your comfort [07:17] and your freedom. You can't just live on [07:19] peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, you [07:20] know, [07:21] you know, and raise a few more children. [07:23] No, no, that would be crazy. [07:27] I have eight children and I get looked [07:29] at sideways. [07:31] Meanwhile, elsewhere in the world large [07:33] families, I mean, I don't get looked at [07:35] sideways in Israel. I'm talking about [07:37] when I'm in America. [07:40] But elsewhere in the world large [07:41] families rooted in faith are the norm. [07:44] I've said this before on this channel, [07:45] the low birth rate of of the Western [07:47] world and the moral relativism of the [07:50] Western world, [07:52] they come from the same place. [07:57] They both come from a civilization that [07:59] no longer believes in something worth [08:02] sacrificing for. [08:04] Why bring children into the world if if [08:06] it's if if it's an expense and you don't [08:08] believe that the world is fighting for? [08:10] Why fight for the civil for a [08:11] civilization that you've been taught [08:14] to be ashamed of? [08:16] These things are connected. [08:20] There's a spiritual [08:22] underpinning to birth rates. [08:25] And when you add it all up, the [08:26] asymmetry of tolerance, the asymmetry of [08:28] will to fight, the asymmetry of birth [08:31] rates, you get exactly what Katie [08:33] Hopkins is describing, a civilization [08:35] that is losing not because it was [08:37] conquered militarily, but because it [08:40] forgot why [08:42] it should defend itself. [08:44] So she ends this section by pointing to [08:46] America and saying your freedoms are [08:47] God-given, they're in you. [08:49] And she means it as a compliment, but I [08:51] want to ask is that still true? [08:54] I mean, it's true for a lot of [08:55] Americans. It's probably true for any [08:56] Americans watching this video cuz you're [08:58] watching my channel. [09:01] But a civilization that has replaced its [09:03] biblical foundations with moral [09:05] relativism, [09:06] with the idea that nothing is [09:07] objectively true, that every culture is [09:09] equally valid, [09:12] and that if you're strong, you must be [09:13] guilty, [09:17] that civilization has already done half [09:19] of the enemy's work [09:21] for it. [09:22] Can you tell me about Tommy Robinson? [09:25] Mhm. Uh cuz nobody really knows here, [09:29] good guy, bad guy, what what's his [09:31] story? Can you help? [09:34] >> I would say always with Tommy, [09:37] um his heart, which is I think the thing [09:40] that matters, Yes. is absolutely in the [09:43] right place, and it was born in the [09:45] right place. He was born in Luton, which [09:47] is like, forgive me Luton, the arse end [09:49] of nowhere land. I come from the arse [09:51] end of nowhere land as well, so we're [09:52] all equal. And he just grew up with [09:55] regular guy, supporting football, going [09:58] out with his friends, having a lovely [09:59] time, and then he saw his town [10:02] completely ruined by the new arrivals. [10:06] He saw people no longer recognized each [10:09] other. People didn't know who was living [10:11] in their street. The streets became [10:12] dirty, and then things started happening [10:15] to our young white girls, and he was the [10:17] first guy to call out the majority [10:22] Pakistani Muslim rape gangs that are up [10:26] and down our country. [10:28] >> believe [10:30] that truth. [10:32] I [10:33] I I don't know how many Americans [10:36] understand that that's true. That's [10:40] happening. And [10:42] and [10:42] and your Prime Minister went I mean, [10:45] it's [10:47] Because power sits with the Muslim [10:49] population because it is the majority, [10:52] and I know some of your viewers or [10:53] listeners or my dissenters will go on [10:56] and say, "The Muslim population is 4%." [10:59] That is not the reality, and it doesn't [11:01] work in terms of geographical locations, [11:04] and that's how democracy works. That's [11:05] not the point. [11:07] The point is [11:08] the people who want power [11:10] cannot speak of this terrible tragedy [11:14] because they require the Muslim vote, [11:17] which is why you're seeing the same [11:19] sorts of things happen in America. If [11:21] you need to play to the Muslim vote, you [11:24] won't speak the truth about what happens [11:26] with certain people inside of that [11:29] population. And Tommy always did. [11:32] And let's remember [11:34] I'm saying this sat here now [11:36] 5 years ago [11:38] I was threatened with arrest for saying [11:41] that we have a Pakistani Muslim rape [11:44] gang problem. [11:46] Police were coming to my door. [11:48] >> you? That came shortly after. Yeah, but [11:51] but even to say that Right. [11:54] >> even to even to state the truth because [11:58] when facts [12:00] become hate speech Yeah. [12:01] >> then truth is an arrestable offense. [12:05] Mhm. And that's precisely where we find [12:07] ourselves. But Tommy [12:10] you know, sometimes maybe in his life [12:12] it's a little chaotic. Maybe there's [12:13] things that, you know, aren't my [12:15] business to explain. His heart is in the [12:17] right place and he is the first guy to [12:20] call out [12:22] these rape gangs and be utterly [12:24] eviscerated [12:26] from his country because of it. I [12:31] The Tommy Robinson [12:34] discussion [12:37] Look, [12:38] I don't know if you know about the [12:39] grooming gang scandal in Britain. [12:42] Many of you probably do. [12:44] This grooming gang scandal [12:47] is not a conspiracy theory. It's not far [12:49] right propaganda. [12:50] This is a the documented conclusion of [12:53] multiple official British government [12:55] inquiries. Thousands of children [12:58] predominantly young white British girls [13:00] were systematically groomed trafficked [13:03] and sexually exploited by gangs of men [13:07] who were in the overwhelming majority of [13:09] cases of Pakistani Muslim background. [13:13] It has happened in Rotherham, in [13:15] Rochdale, in Telford, in Oxford, in [13:18] dozens of towns across England. It [13:19] happened for decades. [13:21] And it was covered up deliberately, [13:23] systematically covered up by police [13:25] officers, social workers, and local [13:27] politicians who were afraid of being [13:29] called racist. [13:33] Children were being raped. Authorities [13:35] knew about it, and they chose not to act [13:38] because they were afraid of the [13:39] political consequences of acting. Okay, [13:42] that's not speculation. It's the [13:43] explicit finding of the Jay report, the [13:45] Rotherham and the Rotherham inquiry, the [13:48] independent review. The fear of being [13:50] labeled racist was cited directly as a [13:52] reason for inaction. [13:55] Think about that. [13:57] And Katie says that 5 years ago, 5 years [13:59] ago, police came to her door for stating [14:02] this truth. Not for committing a crime, [14:03] for just talking about this. This was [14:06] documented, and she talked about it. [14:08] For saying something that was true but [14:10] politically inconvenient. When facts [14:12] become hate speech, [14:14] truth is an arrestable offense. That's [14:16] what she said. She's right. [14:18] And this is not just a British legal [14:19] quirk. This is a civilizational choice. [14:23] It's the choice to protect the feelings [14:24] of political constituency [14:28] constituency over the bodies of [14:30] children. [14:32] It's the choice to subordinate truth to [14:34] power. [14:35] And once a civilization makes that [14:37] choice, once it once it decides that [14:39] certain true things cannot be said, [14:44] it's over. [14:48] And one of the things that I've [14:48] mentioned before on this channel is how [14:52] with Israel and Israel's war with its [14:54] enemies, the more you know about it, the [14:57] more pro-Israel you become. I mean, the [14:59] the more ignorant you are, the more you [15:00] just have a thumbnail sketch of what's [15:02] going on, the more anti-Israel you'll [15:03] be. The more you're just reading the [15:05] headlines and scrolling, but the more [15:06] you actually know the facts, know the [15:08] history, the more pro-Israel you end up. [15:11] Because the truth is on our side. And [15:13] the more context you have, the more [15:15] details you know, the clearer that truth [15:17] becomes. [15:19] The same principle applies here. [15:21] The more you know about what is actually [15:23] happening in Britain [15:27] not the sanitized version that you know [15:28] that protects the politicians. The more [15:31] you understand why Katie Hopkins is [15:32] saying what she's saying. The more you [15:34] understand why Tommy Robinson [15:37] was the first person screaming about [15:39] this when every institution in Britain [15:41] was looking away. And regardless of any [15:43] anything you've heard about Tommy, yeah, [15:44] nobody's everyone's got stuff in their [15:46] life. [15:52] Look, they destroyed Tommy for this. [15:55] Because they as Katie says they've [15:58] criminalized their own truth. [16:02] You knew I would enjoy conversation with [16:05] you. I had no [16:07] I had no idea [16:10] how much more I would admire you. [16:13] You're a remarkable human being. [16:15] >> Don't be kind. No. [16:17] Um [16:19] Can I just ask you as an American one [16:21] thing and then we'll I got a question. [16:24] I don't understand King Charles. I I [16:27] mean what is it going to happen with [16:29] [clears throat] it's insane. [16:30] He is [16:32] so [16:33] not good. I understand, you know, why [16:35] his mom was like, "I got to live longer [16:37] than you know what [16:38] >> she wasn't she? I'll do awesome. [16:41] >> awesome. Her whole life she's promised [16:44] whether it be long or short, I give my [16:47] whole life to this country and boy did [16:49] she I loved her. I loved her. [16:53] Not so much with with Charles. Um [16:57] Are you going to make it to the next [16:58] one? No. [17:00] He had an opportunity to be Winston [17:03] Churchill and the king, you know, their [17:04] relationship where they said [17:06] "We're not leaving this capital city. We [17:09] stay here. We fight, we win, we fight [17:11] them on the beaches, we win." The king [17:13] could have said [17:14] "This country needs its royal family. [17:18] This country needs to stand for what we [17:21] used to stand, centuries of tradition. [17:24] Right? You I I could write that king's [17:26] speech for him in a moment, and it's [17:28] what we needed, and he failed. And not [17:30] only did he fail, he doubled down on the [17:33] other side. He celebrates Ramadan and [17:37] Eid. He invites people in for iftar at [17:39] the whatever. I mean, whatever, but he's [17:43] the opposite of what we needed. The [17:44] royal family [17:46] because of that weakness, the royal [17:48] family cannot and will not survive. [17:51] William and Kate will be the last [17:54] semblance of a royal family, but truly [17:58] they are diluting what it meant to be [18:01] royal. We liked them when they were [18:03] aloof. We liked them when they were [18:05] untouchable, and those two want to be [18:08] your friend and your next-door neighbor [18:09] and the person in Starbucks. [18:12] The royal family will not will not make [18:14] it. [18:15] How long? [18:17] One more generation. William and Kate, [18:19] that's it. [18:23] >> [sighs and gasps] [18:27] >> Well, to be honest, as I said before, [18:30] I'm an Israeli. The future of the [18:31] British monarchy is not my primary [18:33] concern, but what Katie's really [18:34] pointing at here [18:37] is is about leadership. Whether the [18:39] people who stand at the top of a [18:41] civilization [18:43] the sim- because the royal family are [18:44] symbols, important symbols. The question [18:47] is whether they actually believe in that [18:49] civilization, whether they're willing to [18:50] stand up and say, "This is who we are. [18:52] This is what we stand for. This place is [18:54] worth defending." Right? So, for all of [18:56] you, like me, who didn't grow up with a [18:57] royal family, and you're wondering, "Why [18:59] do I care about this?" [19:00] It matters. [19:04] Churchill believed in standing up for [19:06] your civilization. The wartime king, as [19:07] she mentioned, believed that. They said, [19:09] "We're not leaving [19:11] the city. We fight. We win. we fight [19:13] them on the beaches. That posture, [19:15] right, that unapologetic conviction that [19:18] your civilization's worth saving. [19:21] That's a signal to your own people about [19:23] what they are. It tells them you're part [19:25] of something real, something historic, [19:26] something that This is identity. [19:30] How do you How do you explain this to [19:31] people nowadays? [19:35] And then you have Charles. [19:37] He's not a bad man necessarily. I don't [19:39] know much about the guy. [19:41] But he embodies a posture that has [19:43] become fashionable [19:45] among Western elites, a kind of [19:47] civilizational self-doubt dressed up as [19:50] enlightenment. And that's the most [19:51] charitable explanation we can give for [19:53] him. [19:55] Celebrate every culture, honor every [19:57] tradition, be curious about everything [19:59] except somehow your own culture. [20:04] So he celebrates Ramadan and A and Eid. [20:07] He invites people for iftar. [20:12] But does he stand up unapologetically [20:14] for the civilization that he was born to [20:16] lead, the civilization that produced [20:18] Shakespeare and Newton and the Magna [20:20] Carta and the King James Bible? [20:24] That would be unseemly. That would be, [20:27] you know, that would smack of bigotry [20:29] maybe. It would seem provincial maybe. [20:32] It would look intolerant. [20:35] And it's That's the problem. [20:37] Weakness invites pressure. [20:41] And pressure produces collapse. [20:46] Like this is This is what happens in [20:47] history when a civilization's leaders [20:49] signal that they're not sure that their [20:51] civilization deserves to survive. [20:56] What When that happens, [20:58] the it signals to the civilization's own [21:01] people [21:03] to lose the will. It It causes people to [21:05] despair. [21:08] It signals to people that that the end [21:10] is coming. [21:13] And that signal is also noticed by those [21:16] who wish to take down that civilization, [21:18] who wish to replace it. [21:20] Who see that the door is open. [21:24] So Katie says that William and Kate will [21:25] be the last. [21:27] One more generation. Maybe she's right [21:28] about that, the institution of the of [21:30] the royal family. [21:32] But the deeper question, the question [21:33] that matters for every Western country, [21:35] not just Britain, [21:37] is this, do you believe in yourself [21:39] enough to defend yourself? [21:42] Do your leaders believe in it? Do your [21:43] journalists write like they believe in [21:46] it? Do your police enforce the law like [21:48] they believe in it? Do your courts [21:50] uphold truth like they believe in it? [21:56] Look, if the answer is no, and in much [21:58] of the Western world today, the the [21:59] answer is no, and Katie Hopkins is not [22:02] being dramatic. She's being a realist. [22:04] And that's why it's so hard to listen to [22:07] when she talks about these tough choices [22:08] at the beginning of this of this clip I [22:10] played you. [22:12] The hardest thing about this [22:13] conversation is that she's also correct [22:15] when she implies that there is such a [22:17] thing as too late. When she talks about [22:19] those difficult choices, like you might [22:20] have to either migrate to the east or [22:22] migrate to the west. [22:25] Maybe it's too late. [22:27] History is full of civilizations that [22:28] reached the point of no return and [22:30] didn't realize it until they were [22:32] already well past it. [22:34] And that's the question for the West [22:35] right now, today, right now. [22:40] Is there a willingness to recognize [22:43] where we actually are and to actually be [22:46] willing [22:47] to break this asymmetry that I talked [22:50] about [22:52] and to fight back. [22:54] I don't know. [22:57] I hate to be a a a dooms, you you [23:00] doomsday sayer, [23:03] but this is moment we're in and it's [23:04] important to say this. It's important to [23:06] face it, to be realistic. [23:11] There's some tough choices ahead of us, [23:12] folks. [23:14] Let's keep praying. God bless.
