Transcript [00:00] I want to hear from somebody who knows [00:02] more about Persia than I do. I want to [00:05] hear from somebody who's a world expert [00:08] in understanding the Muslim world and [00:10] the Arab world. He has been a great [00:13] enemy for the jihad. A great enemy he [00:17] has been for the jihad. His name is [00:19] Morai Khadar. Dr. Morai Khadar [00:23] served for 25 years as Lieutenant [00:25] Colonel in military Israeli military [00:27] intelligence. [00:29] Uh he's a Middle East channel analyst [00:32] for channel 14. He's going there right [00:34] after our show and he's the VP of news [00:38] and he too uh knows what it is to [00:41] celebrate Purim and understands this [00:43] great moment. Dr. Shalom and welcome [00:48] >> poem. [00:50] God be with you. [00:54] >> Praise Allah. [laughter] [00:57] As you could see, Ali, he's come back [01:00] from the dead, [01:01] >> right? [01:01] >> He's come back. He's come back and he's [01:03] uh he's still he's still uh he's still [01:06] angry about what happened yesterday when [01:08] he went down so at the very beginning of [01:11] this war. So I want to ask you first [01:13] thing about Ali Ki. Uh how is it that [01:16] how is it that the supreme lead leader [01:18] was taken from this earth so quickly at [01:21] the beginning of beginning of this war? [01:22] And what does this mean for the rest of [01:24] the conflict? [01:26] >> Well, first of all, it's a big blow to [01:29] the theory that the mullas in in Iran [01:34] are directed by Allah. This is what they [01:38] keep saying to their people. What if [01:41] he's directed by Allah? How come the [01:44] Jews succeeded to get rid of him in such [01:46] a way shameful way? So this another [01:50] thing is there is a rumor that what the [01:53] bomb which killed [01:56] was actually thrown on him by a pilot [02:01] who is a lady because we have some 30 [02:05] ladies who are pilots in the air force [02:08] and there is the saying that if a man is [02:13] being killed by a woman he will not go [02:16] to the paradise. and he will not not [02:19] enjoy [02:21] the goodies of paradise. [02:24] So here you are. Uh the [02:30] blow to the Iranian regime is actually [02:33] resembled by the fact that they are [02:36] today they hit Saudi Arabia a big [02:40] refinery. They burnt it all up. They hit [02:44] Qatar their friend. They hit the [02:47] Emirates, United Arab Emirates, they hit [02:49] Dubai. Bj Dubai, Bj Khalifa actually. [02:53] And matter of fact, they sent many more [02:56] drones to the United Arab Emirates [03:00] compared to the number of drones which [03:02] they send to Israel. [03:04] >> Wow. [03:05] >> Yes. Unbelievable. But this is what [03:08] happened. [03:09] >> I hear that I hear that the UAE is [03:11] actually not very well prepared at all [03:13] for this conflict. they don't they don't [03:15] have bomb shelters. Uh they're putting [03:17] people in the in the basement of hotels [03:18] and parking garages that they're really [03:20] they don't have a worldly warning system [03:22] that they're really not ready for this [03:24] thing. [03:25] >> They thought that they are immune by the [03:28] fact that they have money which can pay [03:30] for everyone who thinks to hurt them. So [03:33] they will give him money so he will not. [03:35] This is this is by the way Qatar thinks [03:38] the same way. They also attacked Bahin [03:42] and Kuwait and of course Saudi Arabia. [03:46] They think [03:46] >> Wait, you said you said you said that [03:48] Qatar is Iran's friend, right? They're [03:51] both jihadis. What happened there? [03:54] >> Yes, but don't forget that that Qatar [03:58] hosts [03:59] one of the biggest air bases of the [04:01] Americans in the Middle East [04:04] near near Dha. [04:07] And uh they thought that if they if [04:11] >> it's okay [04:12] >> they thought that if they attack [04:15] if they attack the the Qatar their [04:19] friends with Qatar Saudi Arabia they all [04:22] will run to the United States of America [04:24] to demand to stop the war. [04:27] >> Uhhuh. Th this is their logic why they [04:30] hit their friends as as if those friends [04:34] can do something in order to stop the [04:37] war. the you know the moolas are trying [04:40] everything [04:41] >> what moolas are left drdar what moolas [04:45] are left who's directing this thing [04:47] who's who's in the command control [04:51] >> there is the virat of three people who [04:56] are trying to get their act together [05:00] after the mah means the [05:05] disappeared means was assassinated by [05:08] Israel [05:10] and [05:12] now they don't have a real leadership. [05:14] So they try to create some kind of a [05:17] legitimate leadership for the IRGC and [05:22] for the other forces in order to make [05:24] sure that they do not defect and they do [05:26] not succumb to the American uh demands [05:32] and to make sure that they continue to [05:34] fight because they know that as long as [05:38] the regime will be united [05:41] nothing can topple him. Once they start [05:45] to shoot each other or you know to pull [05:48] the wagon to different directions this [05:51] is their beginning of the the beginning [05:54] of their end and the so far I'm not sure [05:59] that we saw uh different directions [06:03] there is an attempt to unify their [06:06] behavior although they are they never [06:09] faced such a situation they don't really [06:12] don't know what to [06:14] But uh so far they're more or less [06:18] united. [06:19] Of course we you you can hear different [06:22] announcements from different people but [06:25] this is natural when they cannot [06:26] coordinate with each other when they [06:27] cannot even meet because they are afraid [06:30] to meet because if they meet Israel [06:33] might or Americans might target them. So [06:37] they try not to meet of course they [06:40] don't use communications [06:42] in order not to be uh intercepted. [06:46] So they they find it very hard to run [06:49] the country in this situation. [06:52] I hope and apparently the Americans hope [06:55] that that if we continue to maintain [06:58] pressure on the [07:01] regime, more people will run away in [07:06] order to save themselves, in order to [07:08] save their lives, in order to save their [07:10] savings means money, gold which they are [07:15] smuggling out. And uh three people are [07:20] known who are today in Moscow from the [07:24] regime and they have like hundreds of [07:27] millions of dollars [07:31] rather either in cash or in gold and [07:35] definitely this is stolen from the [07:37] people and today the United States [07:40] started [07:42] an activity to make sure that this money [07:45] will return to the people to the Iranian [07:47] people. After all, it was stolen from [07:51] the Iranian people. [07:54] >> Okay. So, let's ask now about about how [07:56] this war is going. Right now, Israel has [07:59] control of the of the skies. Although, [08:02] yesterday uh we couldn't get too cocky [08:05] because a horrible uh strike against a [08:09] house here in Beamesh killed at least [08:11] nine, maybe even more. there are [08:14] hypersonic missiles which are hard to [08:15] stop. You're saying that there's also [08:17] attacks on the UAE, on Bahrain, on [08:20] Qatar, on Saudi Arabia. You're saying [08:22] you're reporting that there was a [08:24] serious um uh uh damage done to a oil [08:27] refinery in Saudi Arabia. Um but where [08:31] you know, but what is the maan? What is [08:33] what is the that's the Hebrew word for [08:36] what's the balance right now, right? [08:38] Where is this all going? I mean, I don't [08:40] want to sound like the other channels, [08:41] but like what's the endg game? Where's [08:44] where are we going all the way towards [08:46] regime change? And are the people on the [08:48] ground after being mertrilized and [08:52] killed just uh two weeks ago uh in the [08:55] streets of Thran, are they going to come [08:57] out and protest or are they going to [08:59] wait this out? We There was two [09:00] different signals also. There was the [09:02] Netanyahu signal. Netanyahu said go to [09:04] the streets and then Trump said be [09:06] careful. It's dangerous in the streets. [09:07] I thought that was mixed messaging [09:09] there. [09:10] No, no, no. Trump also said said to the [09:14] people stay at home, stay safe. Don't [09:16] touch in the streets yet because we have [09:19] not yet finished the job which we took [09:21] upon themselves to weaken the regime by [09:25] by targeting and destroying [09:29] uh regime symbols like the massie like [09:32] the IRGC [09:35] on its bases on its headquarters [09:38] and uh until this job is finished don't [09:42] risk your life don't run in front of uh [09:46] rifles because they will kill you and [09:49] it's pity if you are getting killed at [09:52] this point. Wait at home in a safe place [09:55] and [09:57] be ready to the advice to start [10:01] streaming to the streets. Uh I think [10:04] that the people in Iran have also their [10:06] indications about the weakness of the [10:10] regime and they are also uh waiting for [10:15] the right moment to strip to the streets [10:19] and to do something. [10:22] What I heard also is that Israel is [10:24] attacking [10:26] uh borders the borders between Iran and [10:30] Iraq [10:32] because on those borders there were some [10:34] bases which belong to the IRGC. [10:37] [snorts] If this is correct and Israel [10:40] destroyed or destroys [10:42] these bases, it means that Israel wants [10:46] to open the gate for the Kurdish forces [10:49] from the Kurdish autonomous part of [10:52] Iraq, [10:55] for them to invade [10:58] Iran in order to fight really them [11:02] because they are coming in with armored, [11:04] vehicles and tanks or whatever they have [11:07] them and this is a very important force [11:14] on the ground which can work against the [11:17] Iranian regime. [11:18] >> So this is a little bit like the like [11:20] the the like the Syrian uh uh revolution [11:23] or the Syrian uh uh uh overturn the [11:26] regime change that basically was based [11:28] on the same kind of thing. There was a [11:29] there was a a force waiting in the wings [11:32] although it was controlled by Erdogan [11:34] and it was Sunni terrorist types but [11:37] still they were able to swoop down the [11:39] minute the regime was weak come in and [11:42] and and do make regime change. So you're [11:44] saying here the uh the the American [11:47] Israeli allies are bombing bases that [11:50] are stopping the Kurds from coming into [11:52] Iran. Once those those bases are gone [11:55] and there's free passage, the Kurds are [11:58] going to come from autonomous Kurdistan [12:00] into Iran and also be a force that that [12:02] helps regime change happen, right? [12:05] >> At least fragmentation of the state and [12:08] establishing an autonomous [12:11] uh area for the courts in the northwest [12:14] part of Iran. This is the goal of the [12:17] Scottish forces if at all. But uh this [12:21] definitely will direct a a real hit to [12:25] the regime because this the state starts [12:28] to be fragmented along ethnic lines. [12:32] Something which I'm talking about for [12:34] years already and this is what I expect [12:39] to happen that the Iranian state will be [12:42] fragmented along [12:44] >> ethnic lines. [12:46] >> Uhhuh. So you don't you don't expect the [12:48] outcome of this conflict to be one uh [12:51] united Iran. Uh and and we made that [12:54] mistake in Iraq, didn't we? Like [12:56] thinking that this fragmented country [12:58] can can remain uh after its dictator is [13:01] gone. You're saying no, it's it's not [13:03] going to it's going to be many little [13:05] Irans, Beluchcci, and other things. I [13:07] looked up, by the way, Beluchcci trying [13:09] to learn more about it. Um you know, [13:11] I've never heard the Beluchcci language. [13:13] I don't know what what what these people [13:15] do, but they uh but they are significant [13:17] members of uh of the they're a [13:19] significant Iranian minority. So, you're [13:21] saying you don't expect uh a united Iran [13:24] at the end of this? [13:25] >> No, I don't expect because when people [13:28] fe smell freedom, they want full [13:32] freedom. [clears throat] They don't want [13:33] to to live under the yoke [13:35] >> of the Persians. [13:38] Let us hope that the purim of this of [13:43] this year will definitely remind us of [13:47] the redemption which our forefathers [13:50] smelled and witnessed in Shashan Habira [13:55] the capital of Persia those years by [14:00] man. Thank you so much our time. [14:02] >> Thank you very much Dr. Kdar. You're the [14:05] best. enjoy channel 14 uh and success [14:08] over there and inshallah we'll see [14:10] beautiful times ahead uh with less [14:12] dictators and more freedoms for more [14:14] peoples in this region with a stronger [14:16] bigger Israel. [14:18] >> Amen. [14:19] >> To thank you so much for being with us [14:21] Dr. Kar.
