For the first time, newly released security camera footage reveals what unfolded inside Soroka Medical Center as the October 7, 2023, Hamas massacre unfolded across southern Israel. In the first 24 hours, doctors, nurses, and medical teams treated an extraordinary 674 wounded patients, rushing to save lives even as their loved ones and communities were under attack. The footage, featured in KAN 11’s new documentary “The Shift,” captures both the unimaginable chaos of that day and the extraordinary courage of the medical teams who refused to stop saving lives. Their heroism will never be forgotten. 🇮🇱 Video Credit: “The Shift” (“Zman Emet”) by KAN 11, Israel’s public broadcaster.
