[03:35] Well, Pesach, I am in the Smoky [03:37] Mountains of Tennessee sitting in a [03:38] cabin. If I showed you out my window [03:41] right now, there mountains in the fog [03:43] and it's it's wonderful. I was at a [03:46] church here in Sevierville, Tennessee [03:49] yesterday and a little little church is [03:52] a unknown church. I didn't know anybody [03:54] there and it was a warm reception. The [03:58] people were very excited, very kind, [04:01] very southern hospitality and we're very [04:03] excited to meet somebody that loved [04:05] Israel so much and it was a it was a [04:07] warm reception and my family's here were [04:09] actually double dipping we're doing some [04:11] ministry and some family time. Sam's [04:13] family is here we're in a massive house [04:16] on top of a mountain and so I'm hoping [04:19] that everybody is nice and quiet this [04:21] morning but there's about 20 kids [04:23] running running around and [04:25] you know, Sam's mom's making French [04:26] toast downstairs and it's wafting up the [04:29] steps to me. So [04:31] you know, that's where we're at. [04:33] >> I was in the Smoky Mountains only once [04:34] in my life. I drove through the Smoky [04:36] Mountains. [04:37] I was driving from you know, from one [04:41] town where I spoke in a church to [04:42] another town where I spoke in a church [04:44] and I drove through the Smoky Mountains [04:46] and it was one of the most beautiful [04:47] drives I ever made. You know, I've [04:48] driven I've had the [04:50] I've had the pleasure the great pleasure [04:52] of getting to know America through the [04:54] course of the last decade plus of of of [04:56] crisscrossing the country and [04:58] and and speaking in churches and [05:00] Christian seminaries all over America. [05:02] I've really gotten to know America. I've [05:03] done a lot of long drives, covered lots [05:05] of ground [05:06] and one of the most beautiful drives [05:07] I've ever made, maybe the most beautiful [05:08] was this drive through the Smoky [05:10] Mountains. I found it to be just just a [05:12] gorgeous part of the country. So that's [05:13] why I was smiling as he as he mentioned [05:15] in the Smoky Mountains and I got to say [05:17] your Bass Pro Shops hat which upset a [05:19] few of our viewers. There were some [05:20] people complaining that you were [05:21] >> This is a black one. Bass Pro, if you're [05:23] watching this is hat number two. If you [05:25] want to sponsor [05:28] >> I just think it it kind of goes with the [05:30] you know, with the landscape and the [05:31] atmosphere of the Smoky Mountains to [05:33] wear a Bass Pro Shops [05:33] >> Buckies or Bass Pro and [05:35] >> Absolutely. [05:37] So Doug, speaking of your travels, I got [05:39] to tell you that I I recently went on [05:41] YouTube and I went to the [05:44] I went to the channel The The Are Here. [05:45] That's the channel that you've created [05:46] with your family to document your [05:48] journey [05:50] uh in a in a kind of light way and I I [05:51] watched the video about the Ark [05:53] Encounter that we talked about and I [05:54] watched the also the most recent video [05:57] which documents a visit that you made to [05:59] Rockaway Assembly of God, which is what [06:02] I learned from there and I didn't [06:03] remember hearing about this was that was [06:05] the church that you and Sam started [06:07] ministry in and you went back there and [06:09] you shared in that church and it was [06:10] very moving. I was especially touched by [06:12] hearing Sam speak a few words of Hebrew. [06:15] >> She does good. She's got She's got a [06:16] little [06:17] Yeah, she's got a little uh she's [06:19] working on her inflection and her [06:21] accent, but she's got that phrase down, [06:23] which [06:23] >> It sounded right. Yeah, whatever she [06:25] said sounded exactly right. She you [06:27] know, she introduced herself in Hebrew [06:29] and said that she doesn't know any [06:30] Hebrew in Hebrew, which was great. [06:32] >> It's a great line and it gets a good [06:33] laugh at the churches. [06:35] >> But it it may be it made me reflect you [06:38] you know, for you and also in that video [06:40] we get a little bit of your message [06:41] talking about God's plans and how you [06:43] know, God always knows what his plan is [06:45] even though he keeps us in the dark and [06:47] I always appreciate a message like that. [06:49] But I wanted to know from you just what [06:51] you know, what it did for you [06:53] emotionally to go back and preach from [06:54] the pulpit at the church that you [06:56] started out as a [06:58] started out at as a youth pastor. [07:00] >> Yeah, so I had not been there since [07:02] 2016. Actually, the last time they had [07:06] me come back was right after my first [07:08] trip to Israel and it was to tell them [07:10] about that encounter that I had. So, [07:11] it'd have been 10 years since I had been [07:14] back there to speak. We had been for [07:15] like a wedding or for you know, to to [07:18] visit people, but we hadn't been in the [07:20] pulpit. And so, it'd been quite some [07:21] time and it was really really special [07:24] cuz the pastor that had served there as [07:27] the senior pastor had retired, but he [07:30] and his wife still live in town and [07:31] still attend the church. So, he was [07:33] actually there that morning. So, I got [07:34] to see him and his wife, which was [07:36] really nice. And then the young lady [07:39] who's actually the the there, she's the [07:41] first Assembly of God female senior [07:43] pastor in the whole state of New Jersey. [07:46] She I knew her years ago. She served on [07:50] Jarmel Meacham's staff. You'll know that [07:52] name cuz Jarmel's come to Israel with me [07:54] a couple times and [07:55] uh she was on his staff and is now over [07:59] that church and it was just it was [08:01] really special to be back there. We had [08:03] so many friends and family [08:06] come into town just to be there for the [08:08] Sunday with us. We got to see students [08:11] that we baptized and coached through [08:13] stuff. We got to see people who we did [08:15] their weddings. It was really nice. [08:18] >> So Doug [08:19] what what I was thinking about as I was [08:21] watching this is that you worked at this [08:23] church before your Israel journey. [08:26] And you've told me many times. I've [08:28] heard you say it uh [08:30] that Israel was 5,000 years ago or what [08:33] was thousands of years ago thousands of [08:34] miles away that it wasn't on your radar [08:36] at all. [08:38] Does [08:39] is is Israel on the radar of this church [08:41] or is it is it something that they're [08:43] still dipping their toe in the water of [08:45] you know where is where is the Israel [08:46] piece in this church that you started [08:48] out as? That's what I was thinking [08:49] about. I was like, "Wait a second. At [08:50] that point in Doug's career, this is [08:52] before all the Israel stuff." So, what [08:54] were the reactions people were getting [08:56] to the Israel piece of what you were [08:58] there for? [08:59] >> So because Adriana and her husband [09:02] served on Jarmel's staff, they had the [09:04] Israel piece through him and want to [09:07] come. So many of the folks have followed [09:09] my journey. So many of them will listen [09:11] to this podcast. So, they've been kind [09:14] of following along at a distance and it [09:16] was nice to see them up close and [09:18] personal. It was very warm reception. [09:20] People were very excited and several [09:22] people were like, "Well, can we come [09:24] with you? How does that work? How do we [09:26] get there?" So, we had a lot of folks [09:28] wanting to you know, smuggle themselves [09:31] into our luggage as we prepare for this [09:34] journey. So, [09:36] I wouldn't say it's I don't think [09:38] anybody's quite at the Tabernacle level. [09:40] I don't think [09:41] you're going to out Israel Bishop Stern [09:44] in the Tabernacle and and all that we've [09:46] done there. But certainly [09:50] in the pro-Israel camp and I think [09:53] whether unintentionally or intentionally [09:54] definitely very affectionate and in that [09:58] direction. And I honestly, I have found [10:00] overwhelmingly [10:02] the more you know, as we say the more [10:04] grass that I've reached down and touched [10:06] the more people I've been with [10:09] the echo chamber of Twitter and all [10:12] that's going on like this church I was [10:14] at here in the Smoky Mountains of [10:17] Tennessee. We're so excited. You're [10:19] going to Israel. You've been to Israel. [10:21] People were just genuinely [10:24] pumped to meet somebody and we're so [10:27] excited to hear what God is doing and [10:30] just so open to it. And I think the more [10:32] travels I do, I I'm really believing [10:36] that I'm going to find more and more as [10:38] you just get out there. Yeah, you hear [10:40] the tone online and you hear stuff [10:42] that's not great and you know, you go [10:44] over and [10:45] what do they call it now podcastistan? [10:48] You know, you go into that woke right [10:50] podcast world that sounds bad. But when [10:52] you get down with average American [10:55] people, they're genuinely supportive, [10:58] genuinely in that spot and I keep [11:00] finding that repeated. I know I'm only a [11:02] couple months in, but I keep finding [11:04] that over and over and over again. [11:05] People are genuinely wanting to be [11:08] supportive of Israel, wanting to [11:09] understand and are praying for the peace [11:11] of Jerusalem. [11:13] >> Yeah, that tracks with what I [11:14] experienced too. I've been telling [11:15] people more and more that online world [11:17] is not the real world. That doesn't mean [11:18] we don't have problems. It doesn't mean [11:20] that younger Christians [11:22] are lacking in this area. That's it's [11:24] all true, but it's not the five-alarm [11:26] fire that I think a lot of people think [11:27] it is. [11:28] Well, Doug, I think we've had enough [11:30] small talk. We have some we have a very [11:31] big topic that we want to get to today. [11:34] Uh we're going to be talking about Mayor [11:35] Mamdani and what's happened in [11:38] what's been happening in New York and [11:40] some of the shenanigans that he's been [11:41] up to. [11:42] And there's no better person to join us [11:44] for that than someone who's been at the [11:45] forefront of all of those issues in New [11:48] York. He's really been part of uh of a [11:50] coalition of leaders across different uh [11:53] faiths, different ethnic communities, [11:55] um you know, pushing back on Mayor [11:57] Mamdani, some of the rallies, if you've [11:59] seen any rallies, the anti-Mamdani [12:01] rallies over the last few months. He's [12:02] really been [12:04] part of the leadership of that and he's [12:05] been on this podcast before. And that's [12:07] my dear friend Rabbi Daniel Schonbach. [12:09] Rabbi Schonbach, how are you doing? [12:11] >> Wonderful. Great to be here with you and [12:13] Doug again. [12:14] >> Yeah, let me let me just finish [12:15] introducing you while we have you on [12:16] screen now. Rabbi Schonbach has a as a [12:19] YouTube channel, which is I think just [12:21] called Rabbi Daniel Schonbach, if I'm [12:22] not mistaken. [12:23] >> Uh Rabbi for America. [12:24] >> Rabbi for America. Sorry. Rabbi for [12:26] America. Rabbi Schonbach, he also [12:28] there's a website Rabbi for America. And [12:30] he's also the host of the Victor Frankl [12:32] podcast. And we had him on Last time we [12:33] had him on, we were talking about Victor [12:35] Frankl, the famous author of Man's [12:37] Search for Meaning and Meaning and many [12:38] other books. And he's a he's a very [12:40] successful therapist who incorporates uh [12:42] the the the theories of Victor Frankl in [12:45] his in his practice. But over the last [12:47] few months, gotten very involved, really [12:48] the last year plus, gotten very involved [12:51] in um in the struggle for New York City [12:54] and for and and educating people about [12:56] what's happening there with Mayor Zohran [12:59] Mamdani. So, so uh [13:01] Rabbi Schonbach, [13:03] we've seen in the headlines that Mayor [13:05] Mamdani first pulled the stunt where he [13:06] said he was going to arrest Prime [13:07] Minister Netanyahu, which obviously [13:09] everyone knew was nonsense. He must have [13:11] known it himself. It was clearly just a [13:13] political stunt. [13:14] And now we see a headline from uh from [13:17] just uh yesterday that Mayor Mamdani is [13:19] now doing something very dangerous, that [13:21] he's calling on New Yorkers to come out [13:24] into the street to protest when Prime [13:25] Minister Netanyahu is in town. And I [13:28] think that coming from a sitting mayor [13:29] of of New York [13:31] calling for protests that in some [13:33] measure might have happened anyway [13:35] because there's a lot of people who are [13:36] anti-Israel in New York. [13:38] Uh but [13:39] give us your assessment on where things [13:41] are with New York City with Mayor [13:43] Mamdani with the Jewish community and [13:45] you you know really drill down educate [13:47] our audience about what's actually [13:48] happening there. [13:49] >> Well, first of all, Pace off and Doggett [13:51] it's so great to be back and have a [13:52] chance to talk to you and Christians [13:54] around the world today. Um it's a very [13:56] serious situation we're facing in New [13:58] York City right now. Zohr Mamdani came [14:00] in uh about six seven months ago at this [14:03] point as a mayor being run by a party [14:05] called the Democratic Socialists of [14:07] America the DSA. Uh the DSA is the [14:09] largest socialist organization in [14:11] America. They're founded in 1982. They [14:14] have about 120 members 120,000 members [14:17] but a few years ago they had about [14:18] 10,000 members. They're a rapidly [14:20] growing organization who are influencing [14:23] the very change of American politics [14:25] today that we're seeing. We see a number [14:27] of colleagues of uh Mamdani entering [14:30] into politics now running for Congress [14:32] and now Senate. Uh they represent what [14:34] we call the red green alliance the far [14:37] left-wing socialists and communists [14:39] partnered to together today with Islamic [14:41] fundamentalists and we're seeing the [14:43] policy happening in real time. I want to [14:45] just go back a step when Mamdani came [14:47] into power January 1st of this year. The [14:50] first thing he did was take get rid of [14:52] protections against anti-Semitism [14:55] in New York the IHRA definition of [14:57] anti-Semitism. Also this policy of [14:59] people having to stand away from [15:02] synagogues and churches when they're [15:03] demonstrating against synagogues and [15:05] churches. He got rid of those policies [15:07] and now we're seeing what's happened [15:08] after just a few months of him being in [15:10] power. He's using his position as mayor [15:12] of New York to attack Jews to attack the [15:15] state of Israel and he's doing this [15:17] explicitly by calling for the arrest of [15:19] the Prime Minister of the only Jewish [15:21] state in world, Benjamin Netanyahu, [15:23] um he knew he can't really do this. He [15:26] admitted a few days later, "I'm sorry, [15:27] guys. I can't do this." But, meanwhile, [15:30] two people were just stabbed in New York [15:31] City. [15:32] Um a Jewish man in his 50s and another [15:34] man from the Asian community, and the [15:36] assailant was screaming "Allahu Akbar." [15:39] Um so, clearly we're seeing that the [15:41] words he uses turn into behaviors and [15:44] activities in New York City, and we're [15:46] really trying to alert people, Jews, [15:48] Christians around the world, uh how [15:50] dangerous he actually is to New York [15:51] right now. And we're seeing the [15:53] implications now of what it means to [15:55] have a mayor who calls who who who who [15:57] refuses to condemn the term "globalizing [15:59] intifada." Now, we're seeing the [16:01] intifada happening in the streets of New [16:02] York. [16:03] >> So, help us understand why is it so [16:06] dangerous? You know, the DSA, people [16:08] think what Bernie Sanders and AOC, and [16:11] they really just want free health care. [16:13] They're all about affordability. That's [16:14] what uh Mondaire Jones ran on. Why is he [16:17] Why is he so dangerous and bringing this [16:20] red-green alliance as you talk about? [16:22] And and what really is the DSA about? [16:26] >> Well, the DSA has gotten gotten from a [16:28] very small party, a small organization, [16:31] to a very large organization with with [16:33] increasing influence on American [16:35] politics. They knew that they couldn't, [16:37] you know, infiltrate the Republican [16:39] Party. They decided to infiltrate the [16:41] Democratic Party, and they put into [16:43] certain places that are really blue [16:45] states or blue cities like New York and [16:47] LA. They're pushing their candidates um [16:50] into power right now. Just a few weeks [16:53] ago, we had three Democratic socialists [16:56] defeat, let's call mainstream Democrats, [16:58] African Americans, Hispanic Americans. [17:01] In fact, the head of the Hispanic [17:03] Coalition in the United States Congress [17:05] was defeated by a DSA member. Um I've [17:08] met with these Democrats over the last [17:09] few months. They told me personally, the [17:12] DSA is bussing in people from all around [17:14] the country to canvas against Democrats [17:16] in New York City. So, they've taken over [17:18] positions, but what's worse than the [17:20] positions they're taking over their [17:21] policies. [17:23] Um, they are a basically socialist [17:25] communist party. They uh, want to [17:27] abolish the United States Senate, get [17:29] rid of the Electoral College. They want [17:31] to replace the presidency with an [17:33] executive chosen by the Congress. They [17:36] want to get rid of the Supreme Court. [17:38] Um, they want to radically transform [17:40] America, American culture, American [17:42] society into some socialist or communist [17:45] paradise right now. And so, what was [17:48] just a fringe group of people that had [17:50] wild ideas that never could take the [17:51] mainstream of America, they're now [17:53] entering their way state by state now [17:56] uh, with Democratic Socialists. I think [17:57] their policies are dangerous and I think [18:00] explicitly to Christians, these are [18:02] communist policies. They want to destroy [18:04] the family unit. They want to defund the [18:06] police. They want to have open borders. [18:08] They're openly talking about getting rid [18:10] of the prisons in the United States of [18:11] America. They're going to make the [18:13] United States a more dangerous place, an [18:15] anti-religious place, [18:16] and an anti uh, they're really an anti [18:18] movement which fights against [18:19] Judeo-Christian civilization and [18:21] biblical values. [18:23] >> So, Danny, [18:24] uh, I I want to understand more [18:27] the role of Islam here. You know, cuz [18:29] you mentioned that the DSA is really [18:31] represents, what was the term you used [18:33] that represents the red green alliance, [18:35] that alliance between political Islam [18:39] and socialism. [18:41] And, you know, of course, Zohran Mamdani [18:43] is both [18:44] an avowed socialist and an avowed [18:46] Muslim. [18:47] And people tend to think of these as as [18:49] two kind of separate, [18:52] you know, two separate ways of thinking. [18:53] And I've been writing about this [18:55] uh, I'll I'll tell everyone listening to [18:56] this podcast that I am working on a [18:58] book. Now that I'm halfway done with it, [18:59] I could already tell people I'm working [19:00] on a book about this topic, about the [19:02] intersection of ideas between socialism [19:05] and Marxism. But within the Democratic [19:07] Socialists of America, how prominent is [19:10] the Muslim presence. [19:13] >> It's actually quite prominent. The [19:15] Muslim Brotherhood, a very violent [19:18] organization started in 1928 [19:20] by an an Egyptian clerical member, has [19:24] now found a way in to the mainstream of [19:26] American politics. They looked around [19:29] for an organization they could piggyback [19:30] on. [19:31] And they found a willing partner, the [19:33] Democratic Socialists of America. They [19:35] found out that they could meet together [19:37] on certain platforms that they could, I [19:39] guess, work together towards destroying [19:40] the United States. [19:42] They found that Israel, for example, and [19:44] the support of Israel and Christian [19:46] Zionists, for example, would be a [19:48] target. And they found that the DSA [19:50] socialist members and the Islamists all [19:52] agreed collectively this would be a [19:55] common goal of theirs. So, I think they [19:56] piggybacked on socialism. They found [19:59] anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism as an [20:03] issue they could both agree on. And so, [20:04] they've really deeply the Islamists have [20:06] infiltrated [20:08] the Democratic Socialists. Now, this is [20:10] an interesting study case case in point. [20:12] This woman named Chevalier in New York [20:14] City, she was endorsed by the DSA. She's [20:17] a member of the DSA. This is New York's [20:19] 13th congressional congressional [20:21] district. And she took out Adriano [20:23] Espaillat, who was one of the heads of [20:25] the Hispanic movement in Congress. They [20:27] took him out and they platformed [20:29] initially on this idea of socialism. So, [20:32] Medicare for all, free school, free [20:35] buses, [20:37] free rent and other things like that. [20:39] But she herself, for example, is a [20:41] convert to Islam. [20:43] And I just studied on saw online that [20:44] she actually spent time being [20:46] radicalized in a school in the West [20:47] Bank. So, her policies initially were [20:50] just socialism. Then she said she wanted [20:52] to dismantle the Jewish state. Exactly [20:54] what Mamdani says. He says, "I'm not [20:56] against there being an Israel, but it [20:57] can't be a Jewish country." Meaning that [21:00] she he wants the Muslims to take over [21:01] Israel. And we all know from history if [21:04] Muslims would rule over Israel, the Jews [21:05] would be killed. And that's what they [21:07] tried to do on October 7th. So, again, [21:09] the Islamists have found a an a common [21:12] common ground the Democratic Socialists. [21:14] They've been flooding in the Democratic [21:17] Socialists with financial support, as [21:19] well as an electorate. So, you have [21:20] cities like Dearborn, Michigan or places [21:23] like Queens in New York City where they [21:25] have a lot of Muslims, they've seen they [21:27] can drive out the voters, the Islamic [21:29] voters to support the DSA. So, the DSAs [21:32] are really happy with this, but at the [21:33] same time their policies have become [21:35] more into Israel and [21:36] anti-Judeo-Christian civilization. [21:39] >> So, I have to ask because a lot of our [21:41] Christian listeners, they're not in the [21:43] inner workings of the Jewish world and [21:46] they look at someone like Mondani and [21:48] they saw [21:49] Jews and rabbis voting for him and [21:52] vouching for him. [21:53] Uh these other DSA members will bring a [21:56] rabbi up to pray at an event and they [21:58] go, "Oh, okay, maybe the anti-Semitism [22:00] is not so bad. Maybe, you know, [22:03] obviously there's Jews there supporting [22:05] him." Help us understand what's [22:06] happening there. What Why are they [22:08] getting support and is it really Jewish [22:11] support? [22:12] >> Well, as we as we most most of us know [22:14] there's different streams in Judaism. We [22:16] have religious Jews, biblically oriented [22:18] Jews. We also have Jews that are not so [22:20] biblically oriented that are reform and [22:22] other other branches of Judaism. And [22:25] they tend to take on [22:27] socialism as their cause, social [22:29] activism, nothing to do with religion, [22:32] nothing to do with Judaism. So, there [22:33] were some Jews in New York City that [22:35] supported him. These are people in [22:36] Manhattan, these are people that are not [22:39] religious Jews, they're not supportive [22:41] of Israel even. And I think that's where [22:43] they took hold in and there was some [22:45] statistic that came out that's being [22:47] bandied around in the media that 30% of [22:49] New York Jews supported Mondani. I'm not [22:51] sure if that's correct, by the way. I [22:53] know that at least according to that at [22:55] least 70% of Jews in New York [22:57] did not support him, voted for the other [22:59] Democrat Cuomo who was running at the [23:01] time. He didn't really have a chance to [23:02] win, but he lost in the end. And it's [23:05] really a fringe group that is supporting [23:06] him. When you talk about rabbis, there's [23:08] no Orthodox rabbis supporting Zohran [23:10] Mamdani. None that I know about. We're [23:12] talking about fringe rabbinic activists [23:14] that are extremely left-wing, extremely [23:16] against Judeo-Christian civilization as [23:18] well. But again, every community council [23:21] of New York City, New York City has many [23:23] Jewish community councils in different [23:24] neighborhoods. Every single one voted [23:27] against Mamdani. Everyone supported uh [23:30] voted for the other Democrat at the [23:31] time. And what we've seen now, I think [23:33] that anybody that was bought by a [23:35] socialist politics that sounded very [23:38] universal, free health care, free buses, [23:40] free food, and he has that tremendously [23:42] deceptive smile. He does everything with [23:44] a smile. I think right now after the [23:47] stabbing of somebody a few days ago in [23:49] an Asian-American, I'm seeing that the [23:51] mainstream Jewish community is uniting [23:53] against Mamdani right now and also [23:55] warning America about what other [23:57] democratic socialists will do to other [23:59] parts of the country. [24:02] >> Yeah, I I want to be a little even less [24:04] diplomatic than you're being about uh [24:07] about these Jews who vote for Mamdani [24:09] because I think it you know, yeah, it it [24:12] wasn't such a a large percentage of the [24:13] Jews who voted for him, but I would just [24:15] want our our want our Christian audience [24:17] to really understand the dynamics here. [24:18] And when you mention Reform Jews [24:20] and Reform Judaism, the the term reform [24:23] means something else in Christian [24:24] circles [24:25] in terms of as a reform theology. It has [24:28] nothing to do with Reform Judaism. I [24:29] just want to make sure that that [24:30] confusion you don't get confused and [24:32] think that there's some commonality [24:33] between the two. [24:35] Reform Judaism is the Judaism of you [24:38] know, that it's a branch of Judaism that [24:40] basically is progressive left politics [24:43] dressed up as Judaism. [24:45] Uh according to the belief system of [24:48] most Reform Jews, they don't believe in [24:50] the divinity of the Bible. [24:52] They don't believe that the laws of the [24:53] Bible bind them in any way. [24:55] Um and I could go on and on. And it's [24:57] analogous to our evangelical listeners, [25:00] you know, if someone were to were to [25:02] point to the progressive [25:05] you know, uh [25:06] the progressive policies of some of the [25:09] mainline denominations that have gone [25:11] completely woke and look at you and say, [25:14] "Hey, those are Christians and they're [25:15] voting left and they're leftists." And [25:17] you would you would roll your eyes and [25:19] say, "Well, I have nothing to do with [25:20] what they believe in." [25:21] Uh in it's the same thing at the [25:24] theological level, at the belief level, [25:26] at the religious level. [25:28] We're as far We're as People like myself [25:31] and Rabbi Shulkin here are as far away [25:33] from these reformed Jews as you are from [25:36] those from those mainline progressives. [25:38] On the other hand, there's a [25:40] complication [25:41] uh that we have that you don't have, [25:43] which is that Judaism is a people group. [25:45] We're an ethnicity. [25:46] And Christianity's not an ethnicity. So, [25:48] it's much easier for you as a Christian [25:50] and I'm When I say you, I mean you all [25:52] the listeners that I'm talking to, when [25:54] there are Christians who when there are [25:56] people who call themselves Christians [25:57] who are part of denominations that are [25:59] behaving in a way that to you is [26:01] completely heretical and believing [26:02] things that are are completely [26:03] heretical, you can easily just look at [26:05] them and say, "I have nothing to do with [26:07] you. We're not part of the same [26:08] community whatsoever." It's much more [26:10] It's much more complicated in the Jewish [26:12] community because [26:14] these Jews who have strayed so far from [26:16] Judaism and true Jewish values and the [26:19] Torah are still our family and they're [26:21] still part of the same [26:23] our same the same people group. But that [26:25] complicates the relationships. [26:27] Uh but it's important for Christians in [26:29] America to understand that the vast [26:30] majority of Jews in America are not [26:32] Orthodox [26:34] and don't affiliate Orthodox in any way. [26:37] And what And just to just as a as a kind [26:40] of rough sketch of voting patterns [26:43] President Trump got over 80% of the [26:45] Orthodox vote. [26:47] But he got around uh [26:49] he got in the [26:51] But the other side [26:53] got about uh meaning whoever Trump was [26:56] running against whether it was in 2016, [26:57] 2020, or 2024, the majority of Jews in [27:00] America voted Democrat. Voted for [27:03] Trump's opponents. [27:05] Orthodox Jews and non-Orthodox Jews in [27:07] America pretty much live in different [27:08] political universes. [27:10] So I'm just trying to flesh out what [27:12] what Rabbi Shonfeld was talking about [27:14] here. I don't know [27:15] Danny, you want to add anything? [27:17] >> I just want to say that I think I think [27:18] Jews that after 2,000 years of [27:21] anti-Semitism in Europe and in Arab [27:23] countries, when they came to America [27:25] predominantly in the early 1900s, [27:28] they ascribed more to I would say the [27:30] Democratic Party that provided some type [27:32] of umbrella for them that made them feel [27:34] comfortable, that talked about some [27:37] important universal values, but also had [27:39] space for the Jewish community. [27:40] Unfortunately, my parents' generation [27:42] were [27:43] they supported the Democratic Party. [27:45] Most Jews in New York supported the [27:46] Democratic Party. Today, many Jews are [27:48] leaving the Democratic Party and [27:50] progressively moving towards the [27:51] Republican Party because they've seen [27:53] the policies of what's happened to the [27:55] Democratic Party from a let's say sort [27:58] of mainstream organization to a far [28:01] left-wing organization, but now it's [28:03] really being sped up by the Mondani [28:04] types, the DSA that are taking the [28:06] organization over, and Jews really have [28:08] no place anymore in the Democratic [28:10] Party, and I'm hoping to see more Jews [28:12] go over to the Republican side because [28:13] that's where they're most safe, and we [28:15] agree with most of the policies of the [28:16] Republican Party as well today. [28:18] >> So we started out talking about Mondani [28:21] wanting to arrest Prime Minister [28:23] Netanyahu when he comes, and he's gotten [28:26] a bunch of pushback. There was even an [28:28] NBA player that you basically said he's [28:31] cos playing as president, you know, he [28:33] has no authority to do this. He this is [28:35] ridiculous. President Trump came out and [28:37] said that. [28:38] But what what does Mondani realistically [28:42] have the ability to do as the mayor of [28:44] New York? Obviously, he's setting tone, [28:47] he's setting culture from his press [28:50] conferences and from his policy, but it [28:52] does he really have that much power? [28:56] >> Let's go back to the history of New York [28:57] for a few moments. [28:59] Um New York became bankrupt in the 1970s [29:02] because of the policies of a far [29:04] left-wing made mayor at the end of the [29:06] 1960s. [29:07] And in this bankruptcy, they turned to [29:09] the federal government to Gerald Ford [29:11] actually. It was the vice president who [29:13] became president after Nixon. And they [29:15] wanted them to He wanted him to bail [29:16] them out in New York. And it was a [29:18] famous statement in the front of the [29:19] newspaper that he said to New York, [29:20] "Drop dead." [29:22] Because New York would no longer be [29:24] bailed out by the federal government. [29:26] They'll have to get their act together. [29:27] At that moment in 1970s, the state of [29:29] New York usurped the power of New York [29:33] City. New York City is really run by the [29:35] state right now. Believe it or not, New [29:37] York City as a city, excuse me, has very [29:39] little power as opposed to Kathy Hochul, [29:42] who's the governor of New York State. [29:43] And so policies like the subways, for [29:46] example, many housing policies, taxation [29:49] policies, New York has no power over [29:52] whatsoever. Mondani is extremely [29:54] limited. He can raise property taxes, [29:57] but he can't raise income tax. He can [30:00] make some decisions upon highways and on [30:04] subways, but it's very limited cuz most [30:06] of these things are being run by the [30:08] state of New York New York, not New York [30:10] City at all. His power is extremely [30:12] limited, but he knows it's a tremendous [30:14] platform for being one of the greatest [30:17] and freest cities in the world. He knows [30:20] that he could use his platform to [30:22] promote anti-Semitism, anti-Zionism, and [30:25] attack the Jewish people as he did with [30:27] Benjamin [30:28] Netanyahu a few days ago. It's so [30:30] obvious, Doug, in Pesach. He had He knew [30:32] 100% he can't arrest [30:34] a president of Israel, prime minister of [30:36] Israel. He has no federal power. I live [30:39] in New York City, guys. I mean, he's a [30:41] failed mayor already. There's garbage [30:44] piling up everywhere. New York City is [30:46] rat-infested. We've had floods for days [30:49] in New York City where the where the [30:51] sewers are not properly cleaned out. If [30:53] you remember a few months ago when he [30:55] first came into power, there were big [30:56] snowstorms and 19 people died in the [30:59] streets of New York because of his [31:00] policies not not enforcing them into [31:03] shelters. People have died because of [31:05] Mondani. He's now going to bankrupt New [31:07] York City because he's using a budget of [31:09] a hundred 28 billion dollars, which is [31:12] more than the budget of the state of [31:13] Florida all combined. Um his his his [31:16] power is limited, but it's highly [31:18] influential. He knows exactly what he's [31:20] doing and his true Islamist intentions [31:23] are coming out and being fulfilled when [31:25] he's wasting his time. Instead of caring [31:27] about New Yorkers, he's using his [31:29] platform to attack Israel. And I think [31:31] right now for the first time, people are [31:33] really waking up. For example, that NBI [31:36] NBA star that just blasted him, he's [31:38] saying that he's playing a cosplayer or [31:40] something. They're starting to pick up. [31:42] The African Americans, Latinos, [31:44] everybody around us [31:46] is starting to pick up and see who he [31:48] really is and he's not really there on [31:50] behalf of New York. [31:51] >> So talk about that a little bit more. [31:53] You say that African Americans are [31:54] waking up and I had heard that a lot of [31:56] them had voted for him and then and now [31:58] that community is possibly turning on [32:00] him. And you've been part of some [32:02] coalition building in New York to push [32:04] back against Mondani. Talk about the [32:06] different communities and what we're [32:07] seeing there. [32:09] >> What I started discovering and I I help [32:11] an organization called End Jew Hatred, [32:13] which if if you see any demonstrations [32:15] against Mondani in New York, we ran a [32:17] demonstration I think May 11th in front [32:19] of Gracie Mansion on this 2,000 people [32:22] showed up at this rally. It's not a [32:23] rally of Jews fighting Mondani. The [32:26] rally had spokespeople from the Catholic [32:28] community, the evangelistic community, [32:31] African Americans, Hindu Americans, [32:34] Latinos, [32:36] all feeling pushed aside by Mondaire's [32:39] far left-wing socialist policies and his [32:41] Islamist personality. They're all [32:44] feeling it together in New York right [32:45] now. In fact, one of the people that [32:48] spoke out most loudly against Mondaire [32:50] after the midterm after me after the [32:51] primaries a few weeks ago, was a woman [32:53] named Letitia James. Your your viewers [32:56] may know Letitia James. She was the one [32:58] going after Donald Trump for the last [33:00] few years trying to prosecute him with [33:02] his real estate holdings. She herself is [33:05] not actually liked by the Republican [33:07] Party, but she herself the day after [33:09] some of her colleagues were knocked out [33:11] by the socialists run by Mondaire in New [33:12] York City, she herself went in a rant [33:16] against the Democratic socialists. She [33:19] says it's [33:20] based upon white privilege democratic [33:22] socialists. She says most of them have [33:24] no idea about the struggle of [33:26] African-Americans. And in fact, if you [33:28] look at the people that built New York [33:30] over the last 70 years, it was a [33:31] coalition between Jews, blacks, and the [33:34] Spanish. With Mondaire, they've all been [33:37] pushed out of his coalition. There's [33:39] very few Hispanic and black leaders [33:40] surrounding him right now. He has far [33:42] left-wing white socialists and Islamists [33:45] and a few sprinkled people around there, [33:48] but most of the people there are not [33:49] representing the real New York, which is [33:52] Hispanic, which is Irish, which is [33:55] Catholic, which is African-American and [33:58] Jewish. That whole coalition has been [33:59] pushed aside. Everybody's feeling right [34:02] now. Let me give you one more example [34:03] that happened soon after he got it into [34:04] mayor. Because he couldn't pay for his [34:06] bloated budget of 128 billion dollars, [34:10] he made this promise he was going to [34:11] fight for the working people. For the [34:13] working people, where are we going to [34:14] get money from from the top 1%? So, he [34:17] started going after famous billionaires. [34:19] He has something called the pied-a-terre [34:20] tax, where he's going to charge you up [34:22] to maybe a million dollars a year in [34:24] taxes beyond what you're already paying [34:27] if you have an expensive condo in New [34:28] York and you live somewhere else. He [34:30] said, "I'm just going after the 1%ers of [34:31] New York City." Then he realized that [34:33] wouldn't pay for his budget and his [34:35] deficits, so he started going after the [34:36] middle class in New York. The one power [34:38] he does have is raising property taxes. [34:41] He threatened he's going to raise [34:43] property taxes up to 9 and 1/2% in New [34:45] York City. That was devastating to your [34:49] African Americans, Latino Americans, [34:51] many of them are in the middle class or [34:53] lower middle class earning, that had a [34:54] home, that worked for the city for [34:56] years, that finally bought their home 20 [34:58] years ago, that were going about [35:00] They could barely pay for their food and [35:02] their mortgage right now. He was going [35:04] to raise their property taxes by 9 and [35:06] 1/2%. The African-American community [35:08] went ballistic. You remember a few [35:10] months ago there were rallies in Queens [35:12] of African-Americans demonstrating [35:14] against him. So, they're bothered by [35:16] this as well. So, I think people are [35:18] really annoyed. And the Democratic [35:20] Socialists, hopefully, have seen their [35:22] better days in New York. I think people [35:23] are waking up to they are, but we also [35:25] have to warn people across America about [35:28] their threats to people in the Midwest [35:30] and people in other coasts about the [35:32] fact that they want power and they will [35:34] knock out the mainstream Democrats that [35:37] are running for power to gain power and [35:39] use all the horrible policies in New [35:40] York to spread across America as well. [35:43] >> So, I'm curious, how do we go from 9/11 [35:48] to today? You talk about coalition [35:50] building, people being pushed out. I [35:51] grew up in New Jersey. I remember 9/11 [35:54] vividly. I remember I was in high school [35:57] at the time and I remember the school [35:58] going on lockdown. I had friends uh [36:00] whose parents worked in the towers. Uh [36:03] we experienced [36:05] a tragedy and then the country came [36:08] together in a really beautiful way. But [36:11] how do we just 25 years later end up [36:14] with a radical Islamist as the mayor of [36:17] New York City after 9/11? Uh what what [36:20] happened to those coalitions? What [36:22] happened to uh the unity and and all [36:25] that we had? [36:26] >> I'll tell you, there's a few major [36:27] points we have to discuss here. One is [36:29] that it's a blue state, New York, and a [36:31] blue city. So, people have been leaving [36:33] New York for the last 20 years. My [36:35] children, for example, in their 20s and [36:36] 30s, are all talking about leaving New [36:39] York. They're going to red states. Where [36:41] do you go today? You go to Florida, or [36:42] you go to Texas, anywhere except a [36:45] Democratic state where they're pushing [36:46] defunding the police, where they have [36:48] something called cashless bail. Used to [36:50] be that you have to pay money to be on, [36:52] you know, to not go to jail for your [36:54] court case. Now, they just let you out [36:55] without without any cash, so to speak. [36:58] It's kind of a revolving door where very [37:00] dangerous people are getting are [37:01] committing crimes over and over again, [37:03] the repeat offenders. They're going and [37:05] murdering people afterwards. So, people [37:06] have been seeing these policies for [37:07] years. Mamdani is kind of the icing on [37:09] the cake of just bad Democratic policy [37:11] in New York City. That's been going on [37:13] for so the the the wealthy people, [37:15] people that want to invest money, people [37:16] want to have better lives, they're all [37:17] leaving New York City cuz they can't [37:18] afford it. We've lost those people in [37:20] New York City. But, also under the Biden [37:22] administration, specifically during the [37:24] Syrian Civil War where Assad murdered [37:27] half a million people, many Syrians, [37:30] many Arabs, many Muslims were let into [37:31] the United States for the last 10 years. [37:33] So, the Islamic, the Muslim, the Arab [37:35] populations have grown tremendously in [37:37] New York. I don't have the exact [37:38] statistics, but they're quite dramatic. [37:41] So, you have a larger third world [37:43] Arab-oriented immigrant community here [37:46] in New York City. But, then something [37:48] happened which was a freak of history, [37:50] and he was just very lucky, Mamdani. We [37:52] had very poor candidates running against [37:54] Mamdani. [37:56] He was a great One thing I have to give [37:57] to Mamdani, he's a great campaigner, he [38:00] knows how to speak, he's very [38:01] photogenic, knows how to take on media [38:03] very well. He's extremely well trained [38:04] in this. So, his the people running [38:07] against him were very poor at doing [38:09] that. You had uh [38:11] Cuomo, who was the former governor of [38:13] New York, who was himself coming out of [38:15] uh sexual impropriety scandals. [38:18] Uh there was a problem during COVID [38:20] where he put uh many COVID patients into [38:22] old age homes and thousands of elderly [38:24] people died. He was not really liked by [38:26] New York City and he didn't have any [38:28] real energy when he was I met him [38:30] personally at different events. He [38:31] didn't [38:32] didn't exude the youthful energy of [38:33] Mondani that was promising a lot of [38:35] things he couldn't actually fulfill. So [38:37] I think it was kind of a a irony of [38:39] history that Mondani came up. He [38:42] platformed well. He had the power of the [38:44] Democratic Socialists busting people all [38:46] around America, their money, their [38:47] resources. He had a lot more Muslims in [38:49] New York City. But he was he was running [38:51] against the guy that was really easy to [38:53] beat, but he only won by I think around [38:55] 51%. [38:57] I looked at the statistics in New York. [38:58] Most mayors win 60 or 70%. So he did not [39:01] win by that much at all, just by one [39:04] percentage point unfortunately, but I [39:06] think that's what really happened. Now, [39:08] that would help us understand how is it [39:09] a mayor [39:11] like Mondani who was an Islamist, a real [39:13] Islamist. He's not even hiding it [39:14] anymore, can run in a city like New York [39:17] because I mentioned again, population [39:19] has changed, people have left, [39:21] demographics has changed. God saw the [39:24] famous podcast which says demography is [39:27] is destiny. So I think it's a democratic [39:29] shift happening in blue states, the [39:31] power of the Democratic Socialists of [39:32] America, and very weak a very weak [39:35] democratic party that doesn't really [39:37] stand for anything today. Now they have [39:39] Trump Derangement Syndrome. They don't [39:41] really stand for anything. They just run [39:42] against Trump. Here comes the DSA and [39:44] the Socialists, free bussing, free rent, [39:47] free food. They're just drinking the [39:49] Kool-Aid. [39:51] >> I wonder if there's a silver lining [39:52] here. You know, I'm I'm always I always [39:54] try to be optimistic. [39:56] And I wonder if there's a silver lining [39:57] here that with the DSA taking over so [40:01] many safe Democrat districts and gaining [40:04] power in the Democratic Party, that [40:06] maybe it will finally push a lot of [40:08] moderates in the Democratic Party sort [40:10] of classical liberal [40:11] >> Bill Maher saying that he can't agree [40:14] with this. Bill Maher and I don't agree [40:16] on hardly anything and he's talking [40:18] about I can't [40:20] >> That's what That's what I'm saying. [40:22] Maybe there's a silver lining here that, [40:24] you know, it can be a good thing if your [40:26] enemy [40:28] becomes more extreme and narrows their [40:31] appeal. [40:33] I'm wondering if there's a silver lining [40:34] here. [40:35] >> I think there might be. I mean, I want [40:37] to quote the former foreign minister for [40:38] Israel, Abba Eban, who said, "The Arabs [40:41] never miss an opportunity to miss an [40:42] opportunity." What I think happened is [40:44] guy like Mondani, is he let his colors [40:48] fly. He He revealed who he really was, [40:50] specifically the last within the last [40:52] week when he went after the prime [40:53] minister of Israel. [40:55] Even people like NBA basketball stars [40:57] are like like, "What is the guy doing?" [40:58] He just went Most people would have [41:00] pivoted to the middle, being the mayor [41:02] of the biggest city in the world, one of [41:04] the greatest cities in the world. He [41:05] doesn't pivot. He He allow He allows [41:07] himself to be fully revealed, his [41:09] Islamic intentions. So, I'm hoping that [41:11] Americans will actually wake up at this [41:13] point. I'm really hoping that people [41:15] start studying the DSA to understand how [41:18] dangerous it is. This is not your [41:20] parents' Democratic Party. This is a [41:22] Bols- Bolshevik revolution [41:25] with all the anti-God philosophies, [41:28] uh the Marxism from Europe, the horrors [41:31] of 200 million people being murdered in [41:34] Europe, 100 million in the Soviet Union, [41:36] 100 million under Mao. In fact, this guy [41:39] Pickard, Hassan Pickard, whatever his [41:40] name is, he was he was praising Mao just [41:44] a few weeks ago on some conference, a [41:45] Democratic Students conference. These [41:47] people are dangerous, they're Islamists, [41:49] and they're communists, and they're [41:51] coming for your church right now, and [41:53] people better wake up quickly. And [41:55] things that the Christian community saw, [41:56] for example, in Minnesota, I know [41:58] Paysock and I were We did a very popular [42:00] podcast a few months ago on one of our [42:01] shows. Um when they went into that [42:03] church, who's that black journalist that [42:07] uh [42:07] >> Don Lemon. [42:08] >> Yeah, Don Lemon. He went in there, and [42:10] they started screaming at people that [42:12] were praying. [42:14] I mean, you they were they were ready to [42:15] attack the people inside. I think that's [42:18] what the DSA really is. It's an attack [42:19] movement that has different claws, [42:22] different the octopus has different, you [42:24] know, tentacles. One of the tentacles [42:25] will be attacking churches. I think [42:27] church leaders have to be aware of this [42:29] and tell people how dangerous the DSA [42:31] really is to the survival of their [42:32] church communities as well. [42:35] >> You know, as you say that, I I think of [42:39] you know, they're trying to win people [42:41] over with honey, but when they can't win [42:43] them with honey, with free stuff and all [42:45] of that, they're they're certainly [42:46] showing up in force. Uh Mondami's asking [42:50] people to go to the streets now for uh [42:52] Prime Minister Netanyahu's visit. And [42:55] it's just it it's so sad to me that [42:57] we've come to this place, but I think to [42:59] Pesach's point, the the silver lining in [43:02] all this is you have [43:04] mainline liberals that are like, I can't [43:06] get on board with this. And I really [43:08] hope that the Republican Party doesn't [43:13] pivot and go further [43:15] uh to the right. I hope that they [43:17] understand the first person to not be [43:20] crazy wins. And I think if we can be [43:24] true blue conservative, pro-American [43:28] people, that it's going to it's going to [43:30] be a much broader tent, and we're going [43:31] to find some people, yeah, that we may [43:33] disagree with on economic policy, or we [43:35] may not like some of the social policy, [43:38] but they're going, I can't do crazy, and [43:40] I'm not going to vote for that. So, [43:42] yeah, you know what? I'll hold my nose [43:44] and vote for for this guy or that lady [43:47] because they're just not crazy. I I hope [43:49] that the right doesn't uh cuz I feel [43:51] like every time it just it's like a you [43:53] know, the pen it just keeps swinging [43:55] further and further away from each [43:56] other. I hope somebody grabs normal and [43:59] holds it. [44:01] >> Well, we have a beautiful saying in [44:02] Judaism that the the medicine comes [44:04] before the disease. [44:05] And I can tell you something, [44:07] just before this happened or while it [44:09] was happening, America's celebrating the [44:10] Super Centennial, the 250th anniversary [44:13] of our Constitution. I And I I think [44:15] it's of American, you know, liberalism [44:17] and American freedom. And I think it's [44:19] so independence, it's so important that [44:20] we we now get back to our values as What [44:23] is America right now? If anything, the [44:25] civil line that you and Rabbi Pesach are [44:27] talking about is [44:28] is it we have to get back to who we are [44:30] as Christians, as Jews, um as the [44:34] framers saw America, a country unlike [44:37] any other country in history where [44:39] inalienable rights are given to us by [44:41] God. That That one-on-one relationship [44:43] between the individual and God is what [44:45] freed the new Americans from thousands [44:48] of years of kingship and rulers and [44:51] czars over them. I think we have to get [44:52] back to our basic values. And that [44:55] hopefully the discussion that will be [44:56] brought up right now is who we are, who [44:58] we have to connect to, and that's going [45:00] to help us defeat the DSA. [45:02] >> All right, last last question for me, [45:04] Danny, before we wrap up. I know that [45:06] you've been involved in the in the [45:08] course of your coalition building, [45:10] you've been you've been going where I [45:12] don't think any rabbi has gone before, [45:13] at least not that I know of, and [45:15] building coalitions with with Hindus. [45:18] And I don't know of anyone involved in [45:19] Hindu-Jewish relations. [45:21] Um but I think that in the moment that [45:23] we're in, where our primary enemies are [45:26] is the red-green alliance, we have to [45:27] really look for this type of coalition [45:29] building. Can you talk a little bit [45:30] about the work that you've started [45:32] doing, the relationships you started [45:33] building with the Hindu community? [45:36] >> I started looking around for all of our [45:37] allies. I'm working with all different [45:39] countries and all different people that [45:40] are all united against Mondaire, but [45:43] some of the first few people that were [45:44] speaking out against Mondaire when he [45:46] was running last year were Hindu [45:47] Americans. They were more aware of him [45:50] than either the Jewish community was or [45:52] even I I myself was. And so I started [45:54] meeting them. I started seeing them [45:57] lecturing places, demonstrating. I [45:59] started seeing them on certain podcasts, [46:00] and I started reaching out to them. Then [46:02] I realized that the Prime Minister of [46:03] India, Modi, has a very good [46:06] relationship and a profound relationship [46:08] with the Prime Minister of Israel, [46:09] Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as Donald [46:11] Trump. They're all very good friends. I [46:13] said, "Boy, if they're all friends, [46:14] there must be something that they're [46:16] friends about." And I started looking [46:17] into this. It turns out that India is [46:19] one of the biggest democracies in the [46:21] world. They have 1.4.5 [46:23] billion people, 1.5 billion people in [46:25] the world. It's an ascending democracy. [46:27] They're our buffer against communist [46:29] China because of their own [46:31] industriousness, their own [46:32] manufacturing, their own technology. [46:34] Parts of Indian society are very modern, [46:37] very highly technically oriented, and so [46:39] on. They all speak English there as [46:40] well. And there's only one Hindu state [46:42] in the world, and there's one Jewish [46:44] state in the world as well. There's a [46:45] lot of camaraderie. And it turns out if [46:47] you look at India, who are their [46:49] neighbors? [46:50] They're all these Islamic nations trying [46:52] to destroy them. So, we have common [46:54] enemies, but we also have common values. [46:56] If you look at Hindus, Christians, and [46:59] Jews, we're family-oriented. [47:01] We're educationally-oriented. [47:03] We're peacefully-oriented. [47:05] So, this is a tremendous new union that [47:08] has to be developed right now to fight [47:10] against the 2 billion Muslims that want [47:12] to take over Judeo-Christian [47:14] civilization. We have to play a bit of [47:16] checkmate with them. So, we have to form [47:18] a union between the Jews, Christians, [47:21] and the Hindus. That's the [47:23] counter-balance to the socialist, the [47:25] red-green alliance, and the Islamists as [47:27] well. So, I think it's very important. [47:29] And I've made a lot of good friends. [47:30] I've been in Israel the last few weeks. [47:32] I met with Hindu leaders here. When I [47:34] get back to New York, I'm meeting and [47:35] interviewing the head of the Hindu [47:37] American Foundation. And we see a lot of [47:39] Hindus now in popular politics. We see [47:42] Vice President's wife. We see somebody [47:44] running for governor in Ohio. We're [47:46] seeing Hindus playing a more important [47:48] role in American society. I think we [47:50] have to start working together, bring [47:52] them into our coalition to defeat what [47:53] we're seeing today in America. [47:56] >> That's so good. And it's always good to [47:58] have more friends than less friends. So [48:01] Rabbi Shambach, thank you for being on. [48:03] How can people follow your work, support [48:04] your work? Where can they go to stay in [48:06] touch with you? [48:07] >> They can watch my podcast with my guest [48:09] and my reaction videos at [48:10] rabbiforamerica.com. [48:12] They can read my column as well and they [48:14] can read about my works in psychology [48:16] and the writings of Victor Frankl as [48:17] well. [48:18] >> Excellent.
