Transcript [00:00] Hey everyone. So, apparently the [00:01] Iranians, not surprisingly, want to [00:04] assassinate President Trump. That's a [00:06] big headline today. And what I want to [00:07] do in this video is talk about this [00:10] incident, but also to put it in a larger [00:11] context both of [00:14] both in terms of the Iranians and what [00:17] it means when they call for someone's [00:18] assassination, but also to take a look [00:21] at the history of the Iranians [00:24] threatening and plotting against [00:26] President Trump. So, we're going to take [00:27] a look at all that right now. Let's [00:29] start with a short clip [00:31] from [00:33] from Maria Bartiromo on Fox News cuz it [00:35] also includes within it a trip a clip of [00:38] President Trump, which is a little bit [00:39] useful to this conversation. So, let's [00:41] go there first. Here we go. [00:44] >> Meanwhile, Israeli intelligence shared [00:46] with the United States [00:48] new information and evidence that shows [00:51] an Iranian plot to assassinate President [00:54] Trump under way for years. Iran has [00:57] publicly vowed to retaliate against the [00:59] US and President Trump over the 2020 [01:01] killing of senior IRGC General [01:04] Soleimani. The president acknowledged [01:06] the threat earlier this week telling [01:07] reporters he's Iran's number one target. [01:10] Now, watch. [01:13] >> The life of a president is very [01:15] dangerous. [01:16] It's 5.2%. [01:18] You know what a race car driver is? 1/10 [01:20] of 1%. It's a very dangerous profession. [01:23] No, I'm number one on the kill list for [01:27] Iran. [01:29] >> This all follows the funeral procession [01:31] for Iran's former supreme leader where [01:33] mourners were seen carrying banners [01:36] calling for President Trump's death, [01:37] including one reading we will kill [01:41] Trump. Judea now is Heritage Foundation [01:43] >> [clears throat] [01:43] >> Okay. So, that's that's Maria Bartiromo [01:47] and [01:48] you know, at the [01:51] we have the commander-in-chief. Here, [01:53] look at this headline. IRGC [01:54] commander-in-chief retribution for late [01:56] leader will not be forgotten. I first [01:58] want to go through some of the rhetoric [01:59] before we get into some other aspects of [02:01] this. The commander in chief of Iran's [02:03] Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said [02:05] that seeking retribution for the [02:07] country's martyred leader will remain an [02:09] enduring and legitimate demand, adding [02:12] that those responsible for his [02:13] assassination would be punished. In a [02:15] message issued following the funeral [02:17] ceremonies for the late leader, the IRGC [02:19] commander thanked the Iranian people, [02:22] Iraqi participants, and officials [02:24] involved in organizing the events. He [02:26] described the large turnout as a [02:27] demonstration of loyalty, unity, and [02:30] support for the Islamic Republic and the [02:32] axis of resistance. [02:34] He said US leaders and all opponents of [02:37] the Islamic revolution and the [02:38] resistance front should know that by [02:40] assassinating this divine leader, they [02:43] will never be able to extinguish the [02:44] divine light, weaken the resolve of [02:46] faithful nations, or bring down the [02:48] banner of resistance. The commander [02:49] added that the pure blood of the [02:51] martyred leader had placed a lasting [02:54] responsibility [02:55] on all freedom-seeking people of the [02:57] world, saying that seeking retribution [02:59] for those killed and punishing the [03:01] perpetrators, those who ordered the act [03:03] and its supporters, will remain a [03:05] definite, legitimate, and unforgettable [03:07] demand. He further stated that this [03:09] demand will not be erased from the [03:11] historical memory [03:13] of the Islamic ummah and the resistance [03:15] front until full justice is achieved and [03:18] an appropriate response is delivered to [03:20] the perpetrators, particularly the [03:22] child-killing US military. [03:27] I And so, you know, this is uh you know, [03:30] calling for retribution. [03:33] And here, I want to share this with you. [03:35] This is interesting. This is a clip from [03:37] MEMRI, the Middle East Media Research [03:38] Institute, the great website. Go to [03:40] memri.org. They cover a lot of uh media [03:44] of coming out of the Arab world, coming [03:46] out of uh Iran. Iran's not Arab, but [03:49] coming out of the Muslim world. Of [03:50] coming out of the Middle East, and they [03:52] played a clip here. This is a Let's take [03:55] a look at this clip. It kind of speaks [03:56] for itself. It's a senior Iranian [03:58] official in Ahmad Alamolhoda. [04:03] And he is um [04:06] Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei's [04:07] representative in the Khorasan Razavi [04:10] province and a member of the Assembly of [04:12] Experts. And this is an appearance he [04:14] made on Iranian TV on July 7th, which [04:17] means just 3 days ago. [04:20] Let's take a look at this uh at this [04:22] appearance. So, I'm going to I think [04:24] what I'm going to do here [04:26] is [04:27] I'm going to uh [04:30] I'll do a voice-over reading the [04:32] subtitles. So, if you're watching, you [04:33] can just read the subtitles yourself, or [04:35] I will read the subtitles of what he [04:37] what this leader in Iran is saying. [04:51] Blood vengeance for coming at you has [04:53] three stages, [04:55] and we must make sure that these three [04:57] stages take place. [05:01] The first stage is to take revenge [05:03] against the evil and despicable [05:05] culprits. [05:13] Our conflict with the US is a [05:14] confrontation with the American regime [05:17] of hegemony. [05:20] The American regime of hegemony could [05:22] not find [05:24] a more filthy and loathsome creature [05:27] than their current president, and [05:30] charged him with the mission of [05:31] eliminating our Imam and turning him [05:34] into a martyr. [05:37] Revenge and blood vengeance mean that [05:40] they should be punished for what they [05:41] did. [05:44] This punishment should be for all the [05:46] people to see. [05:48] The Lord inflicts torment, and this is [05:50] fine, but it is not done for all the [05:52] people to see. The people need to [05:54] witness the punishment in order to [05:56] regain their peace of mind. [06:01] This requires a separate mechanism. We [06:03] need to be aware of that. The sources of [06:06] religious authority have sanctioned the [06:08] killing of that filthy creature. [06:13] But we must not let it become like the [06:15] Imam's fatwa about Salman Rushdie, which [06:18] ultimately was not carried out. This [06:21] case requires a mechanism that will be [06:23] set into motion and make sure that the [06:25] fatwa is implemented. This way the blood [06:29] vengeance will be fulfilled. The second [06:32] stage of this vengeance is for our [06:34] people to take revenge. Blood vengeance [06:37] for our leader does not belong to a [06:38] specific individual. It belongs to each [06:41] and every person in our country. [06:43] Everybody needs to insist on that. Until [06:46] when? Until the fate of the USA is like [06:48] that of the USSR. [06:53] If the if they get that American dog, [06:56] take revenge against him, it would still [06:58] won't be it. [07:00] Even if 100 American dogs are [07:02] eliminated, they will not be worth a [07:04] single hair of our great leader. [07:09] Okay. Now, why is that significant? I [07:11] mean, obviously, you could just look at [07:12] it as as trash talk. [07:15] But [07:16] you know, the the Salman Rushdie fatwa, [07:18] you know, Salman Rushdie was an author [07:21] who wrote a book that [07:22] the Satanic Verses, which said some [07:24] negative things about Islam, and there [07:25] was a fatwa on his life, and [07:27] attempted you know, attempts on his life [07:30] uh [07:31] you know, persisted for for many, many [07:33] years. [07:34] And fatwas matter. When you when uh when [07:37] a religious leader gets up there and [07:39] says that the religious authorities have [07:41] now said that this person, Donald Trump, [07:44] is now permissible to kill him and that [07:46] we have to avenge him. There are a lot [07:48] of Shiites in the world. There are a lot [07:49] of radical Shiites, a lot of people who [07:50] hate America, and now they're given this [07:53] this religious call, this this you know, [07:55] this call from a religious leader from [07:58] you know, that this is the righteous [07:59] thing to do. This is what's needed to [08:01] do. It does encourage [08:02] it does encourage people and it only [08:05] increases the you know, the danger to [08:07] President Trump. [08:09] Let's take a look at some more. This is [08:12] from this is some footage from the [08:14] funeral itself. You take a look, they're [08:16] holding signs that say kill Trump. [08:20] Right at the this is part of the funeral [08:21] processions, these kill Trump signs. [08:24] Hashtag kill Trump. [08:26] Right, you see that there at the [08:27] funeral. [08:29] Um [08:31] you know, attack on Iran during funeral [08:33] mark Trump's low point. This is part of [08:35] their their [08:37] their rhetoric against him. [08:40] Uh it talks about you know, how terrible [08:42] Trump is. Prominent Arab analyst Abdel [08:45] Bari Atwan wrote in an article that the [08:47] lowest point of US President Donald [08:49] Trump's moral conduct was launching the [08:51] war while Iran was holding the funeral [08:53] procession for its slain leader. [08:56] He wrote that Trump crossed all moral [08:58] principles and values on four occasions. [09:00] First, he insulted Iran's leadership. [09:02] Second, he ordered the bombing of [09:03] civilian railway bridges. [09:06] Third, US missiles struck areas around [09:08] the Bushehr nuclear power plant and a [09:09] nearby military [09:12] base. [09:13] Fourth and most dangerously, Trump [09:15] launched the war while the other party [09:16] to the ceasefire was conducting the [09:18] funeral of its slain leader, Ali [09:20] Khamenei, [09:21] as tens of millions of people [09:22] participated in the ceremonies inside [09:24] and outside Iran. [09:25] According to Atwan, Trump's greatest [09:27] mistake, reflecting what he described as [09:29] political and military shortsightedness [09:31] and boundless stupidity, was believing [09:33] that he could violate the agreement [09:34] while ordering strikes on Iranian [09:36] targets. [09:37] He also wrote that Trump believed Qatari [09:39] and Saudi vessels could pass through the [09:41] Strait of Hormuz under the protection of [09:43] US warships and aircraft without [09:45] obtaining authorization from Iran's [09:47] oversight committee. He concluded that [09:48] Iran's response was swift, deadly, and [09:50] humiliating. But they're focusing on [09:52] Trump a lot these days. I want to take [09:54] you back in time a little bit. [09:56] This is a story from 2024. [09:59] Iran ordered an operative to assassinate [10:02] Trump before the election, federal [10:03] prosecutors say. [10:06] The Iranian government ordered an [10:08] operative to assassinate Donald Trump [10:09] before the 2024 election, [10:12] Manhattan federal prosecutors said on [10:13] Friday. Prosecutors charged Farhad [10:16] Shakuri [10:17] with the murder with murder for hire and [10:19] providing material support to foreign [10:21] terrorist organization. He's believed to [10:24] be in Iran and remains at large, [10:25] prosecutors say. In addition to the plot [10:28] to kill Trump, Shakuri and two other [10:30] men, Carlyle Rivera and Jonathan [10:32] Lodholz, were charged with a separate [10:35] attempted murder for hire scheme [10:36] targeting a US citizen of Iranian origin [10:39] who has publicly opposed the Iranian [10:41] government. [10:42] Okay, so they were they were targeting [10:44] President Trump. And then we have this [10:46] news item from March. New York jury [10:48] convicts Iranian agent of foiled plot [10:51] from IRGC to assassinate Trump. [10:53] Businessman Asif Marsaud admitted to [10:56] seeking hired killers during 2024 [10:58] presidential campaign on behalf of the [11:02] the [11:03] Islamic Revolutionary Guards before [11:05] acquaintance tipped off authorities. [11:07] A federal court in New York City [11:08] convicted an Iranian agent of attempting [11:11] to assassinate US officials, including [11:12] President Trump, in a trial that [11:14] showcased allegations of Iran-backed [11:16] plotting on American soil. [11:19] Asif Marsaud, a business owner who has [11:21] family in Pakistan and Iran, [11:23] acknowledged during the trial that he [11:24] sought to put an assassination plot in [11:26] motion during the 2024 campaign, which [11:29] was quickly disrupted by American [11:31] investigators. Trump faced two [11:33] assassination attempts during the [11:34] campaign, famous one in Butler, [11:36] Pennsylvania, and another at a golf [11:38] course. [11:39] He admitted at trial that he attempted [11:41] the plot on behalf of Iran's IRGC. [11:45] He started working for the IRGC in 2022. [11:47] His plot was exposed. [11:49] They convicted him of terrorism. [11:52] And then we have we have this uh new [11:55] story which you might remember from uh [11:56] not so long ago, from May. [11:58] IRGC-trained operative plotted to [12:00] assassinate Ivanka Trump. [12:03] An alleged Iran-linked operative plotted [12:05] to assassinate Ivanka Trump in [12:06] retaliation for the 2020 killing of [12:08] Qassem Soleimani. [12:10] Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood al-Saadi, a [12:12] 32-year-old [12:13] Iraqi national, alleged to make a pledge [12:16] to kill US President Donald Trump's [12:18] daughter [12:19] and had a blueprint of her Florida home. [12:22] He was targeting the president's family [12:24] in response to uh the killing of Qassem [12:26] of Soleimani. [12:28] These are not the These are all [12:29] different events. Look at this. He was [12:31] an alleged operative of Kata'ib [12:33] Hezbollah and the IRGC. [12:36] Look. [12:37] We can laugh all this off and say it's [12:38] trash talk and oh, kill Trump, kill [12:40] Trump, kill Trump. When they're issuing [12:42] fatwas, there are a lot of devoted [12:44] Shiites out there. They have operatives [12:46] all over the place. There are Hezbollah [12:48] has sleeper cells. Let's remember that [12:50] Hezbollah, the Iran-backed network, [12:53] has [12:54] for many years had training bases and [12:58] uh and all kinds of operations in South [13:00] and Central America, particularly in [13:01] Paraguay and Venezuela. [13:03] They've been involved in trafficking [13:05] people and uh and drugs into the United [13:08] States. They have cells in the United [13:10] States. [13:11] Uh [13:12] Th- This needs to be taken seriously, is [13:14] my point. [13:15] And uh obviously, you know, President [13:18] Trump, I love his attitude. Hey, being [13:19] president is a dangerous thing. [13:22] Uh [13:22] trying to defeat evil, trying to win [13:24] over evil is a dangerous thing. [13:27] And God bless President Trump and we [13:28] hope that God continues to protect him. [13:31] Uh but uh we should just understand that [13:33] these, you know, this isn't just uh you [13:35] know, [13:36] the Israelis [13:38] saying, "Hey, the Iranians want to kill [13:40] Trump." They're actually sharing [13:42] intelligence information about these uh [13:44] about this recent plot. [13:46] And uh [13:49] I guess the good news is that President [13:50] Trump uh seems to have taken this [13:52] personally. You know, he seems to be [13:53] very much aware [13:55] that he's in the crosshairs. [13:57] And maybe that will only strengthen his [13:58] resolve to see this through to the end. [14:01] Because clearly uh the the people [14:04] running the Iranian regime now have the [14:07] same motives and uh and are on the same [14:10] page as they were before. Anyway, that's [14:12] it. Shorter video than usual. I just [14:15] wanted to touch on this topic. And uh [14:17] let's uh again, let's all pray for the [14:20] uh you know, for the safety of President [14:22] Trump. We need him right now. Uh with [14:24] all of uh the frustration we sometimes [14:26] have with him with what he does, [14:28] uh he is uh [14:30] you know, we can only uh we can only [14:32] shudder to think what position we would [14:35] be in [14:36] had he had he not been elected President [14:38] of the United States. All right, that'll [14:39] do it for today. God bless. Thanks for [14:41] watching.
