Transcript [00:00] new month of Adar. This is the month of [00:03] victory over the Amalachites. In Jewish [00:06] history, this is the month of Purim. [00:08] And uh I have the merit to go up to the [00:13] temple now. And it was my son Elazar, of [00:16] course, who dragged me up here because [00:18] the youth, they take you in good [00:20] directions these days. Let's look down [00:22] at the Western Wall. [00:29] Okay. [00:30] >> But we're going up here on this bridge [00:34] >> to the Temple Mount. Okay. We have a [00:37] nice and energetic group [00:41] here. Take another look at the Western [00:42] Wall. [00:48] >> There it is. And the Western Wall is of [00:50] course the outer rim of the Temple [00:54] Mount. [00:56] And this is the way we go. Take a look. [00:58] Nobody's wearing leather shoes. [01:02] >> People are either barefoot or wearing [01:05] non-leather shoes. [01:08] >> And up we go. We have police protection [01:10] with us, [01:12] of course. [01:14] It's still the Middle East. We still [01:16] have issues. [01:18] And it's also the first day of Ramadan. [01:23] And so for the first day of Ramadan is [01:26] uh [01:28] >> ostensibly a time of tension. But in [01:31] truth, the Ramadan [01:33] uh celebrants are uh are fasting and so [01:38] they're not really found on the Temple [01:39] Mount on Ramadan mornings. In any case, [01:44] now the police is signaling to the group [01:46] to stop singing, please. [01:51] He says, "I want you guys to go up, [01:52] enjoy, but I have to explain to you what [01:54] is allowed, what not allowed. You could [01:56] sing as much as you want, but no [01:58] dancing. [01:59] >> On the east side, you can bow down. You [02:01] could do other stuff." [02:03] Okay? So, he's basically saying there [02:04] are places that you're allowed to have [02:06] uh very public displays and places that [02:09] you're less allowed. [02:11] And this is a rowdy group. I mean, [02:13] they're they're energetic. That's what I [02:15] really meant. Nothing rowdy about Jewish [02:17] people singing on the Temple Mount. I [02:18] just mean to say this is a a young [02:20] yeshiva group that is that has energy [02:24] to thank you. There's the police. [02:27] They're protecting us here. Making sure [02:31] and they're making sure that we're safe, [02:33] making sure that there's not too much [02:34] friction around here. And so we go up to [02:37] the temple mount. [02:44] >> Okay. Awesome group. [02:48] And they're singing the halal prayer. [03:01] I'm going to concentrate on the hal [03:02] prayer. [03:17] and here's our first look at the Temple [03:19] Mount itself. Excuse me. What I mean is [03:21] the Dome of the Rock, which houses the [03:23] Holy of Holies area according to most [03:25] opinions in any case. And there it is. [03:27] That's that we know where we are. [03:38] There's Alexa. [03:42] There's police behind us as well. [03:53] >> There's the Alaxa Mosque. [03:56] And there is the Golden Dome. [04:02] It's a super historic plaza [04:05] >> built by King Herod. [04:08] >> And the hal prayer is the rotus prayer, [04:11] the new month, the new month prayer [04:12] which is sung uh in honor of the new [04:15] month in honor of God who has uh renewed [04:18] the month. [04:22] And while I'm making a video, I've got [04:25] to balance a lot of stuff here because I [04:26] have to uh on the one hand uh uh give [04:30] you guys little perspective what's going [04:32] on here. On the other hand, I got to be [04:34] here also with my son and give him his [04:36] time and also most importantly is to [04:38] actually be in concentration in prayer [04:40] and to thank God for the opportunity of [04:42] being here. [04:44] Uh which is uh which is what this is all [04:46] about. coming here is, you know, you [04:48] have to dunk in a mikvah and the ritual [04:50] bath and prepare yourself. And so [04:54] therefore, uh, once you make it here, [04:56] uh, it's important to dedicate time to [04:58] really pray for your beloveds, uh, your [05:01] family and the people with needs and the [05:03] Jewish people and the state of Israel in [05:05] this world that has a lot of challenges [05:07] as well. So, got to concentrate on that [05:10] as well. Balancing a lot. Uh, but what [05:13] an honor and a pleasure it is to be [05:15] here. And the word pleasure is not [05:17] exactly the right word. It's a it's a [05:19] it's a responsibility. It's a gift. Uh [05:21] and uh it's a it's a pleasure in the [05:24] sense that working uh trying to get [05:28] closer to God and working on yourself [05:31] and on the nation's uh fate uh is is the [05:34] greatest gift that we have to have the [05:36] opportunity to make our life uh in his [05:38] image. [05:42] >> We turn towards the eastern wall. of the [05:45] Temple Mount. And this is where we [05:47] generally have a lot more freedom to be [05:50] expressive religiously. [06:04] >> Okay. This young man decided to uh pray [06:07] in a play that's not allowed. and he [06:09] says uh he's getting in trouble with the [06:12] police a little bit for uh going to an [06:14] area that he's not allowed to go to. [06:17] >> I'm not sure why he decided to prostrate [06:19] himself there, but I think he wanted to [06:20] push the boundaries. [06:23] >> Behind me is the Golden Dome. Uh and [06:26] just at the same time, I look behind me [06:28] and I see so much destruction. Uh so [06:30] much broken pediments and broke. Look at [06:34] this just stacks of rocks on the Temple [06:36] Mount. This is this is certainly the [06:38] holiest place for the Jewish people, but [06:39] it's also an incredible place by itself. [06:41] It shouldn't be derelic like this. And [06:43] that's part of the problem with with [06:45] jihadism is that it just sews [06:47] destruction wherever wherever it goes. [06:49] And that's that's uh painful. It's [06:51] painful to see so much. Look at this. [06:54] Just just look at this. What is this [06:55] like some kind of you know I I I saw [06:58] this kind of stuff when I was at the at [07:00] the cropolis and I thought to myself [07:02] this is not respectable. And so too here [07:04] on the temple mount uh this is a live [07:06] place. This is a place of continuous [07:08] worship. It's not a place of some kind [07:10] of past paganism or idolatry. It's a [07:12] it's a current place of of worship and [07:14] prayer. It should not look like this. [07:16] And one of the things that we have to do [07:17] is beautify this land and work on on on [07:21] making it a a world spiritual center. [07:24] And under jihad Islam control, this is [07:27] not a beautiful site. Uh and and and [07:30] look here. I want to I want to show you. [07:32] Look at this pediment right here. [07:34] This is actually part of a pillar. Look [07:36] at this. It's just totally totally [07:39] derelict. And look where we are. Look at [07:41] this place. This is the most important [07:43] spiritual center in the world. And yet [07:45] it's it's uh it's forgotten. It's [07:49] broken. Uh and it's not the respectable [07:51] place it's supposed to be. Now it's time [07:53] to prostrate ourselves. So let's get to [07:55] the business of uh bowing before the one [07:57] God. [08:40] So this is a Purim song. The Jews will [08:44] control their enemies, will rule their [08:45] enemies in the end of time. And so they [08:47] did in the time of Purim. and we're in [08:49] the new month of Adar and the Iranian [08:52] enemy seeks to destroy Israel. Um, and [08:56] we have other enemies as well. If it's [08:59] Qatar, if it's China, if it's Russia, if [09:03] it's all kinds of elements throughout [09:04] the world, if it's the the energies of [09:08] Esau and Ishmael and the Arav, the uh [09:12] mixed multitude, there's various [09:14] energies that want to undo uh Jewish [09:17] strength and Jewish presence in [09:19] Jerusalem. And Jerusalem is being built. [09:21] Torah is being taught. This next [09:23] generation, as you can see, is strong. [09:28] And so my warning to the Amalikites. [09:32] >> It's not going to work out. [09:34] >> It's not going to work out. Destruction [09:35] of the Jewish people is just not [09:37] something that's going to happen. In any [09:39] case, I'm returning to Jerusalem. And [09:41] there it is behind me. These are the [09:43] poor songs. And this roes of Adar [09:56] I don't [10:06] I don't [10:09] love [10:25] Something that has to be noticed is that [10:27] the leading officer here is an officer [10:30] who's wearing tit [10:33] um he's got three stars which means he's [10:35] a high ranking uh police officer. He's [10:38] wearing tit with the blue stringlet. [10:41] He's wearing a keep obviously and he's [10:43] an observant god-fearing police officer [10:47] and that is a big change as well. You [10:50] need to say an officer like this has [10:52] made it up through the ranks and is now [10:54] in charge of our tour on the Temple [10:55] Mount and he himself is a believer and [10:59] is is very much part of the national uh [11:02] movement towards reclaiming the Temple [11:04] Mount and towards Jewish sovereignty [11:06] here. And yes, he's making us uh fulfill [11:10] uh the law and the requirements that are [11:11] currently in place, even if they might [11:13] not be totally fair and great. But the [11:15] bottom line is uh he's with us. And [11:18] that's who's now in the Israeli police, [11:21] which is a big deal, which is also part [11:23] of the realization that the Israeli [11:25] police and the state of Israel is [11:28] becoming more and more uh Jewish uh [11:32] outwardly in and in belief. And so it's [11:35] it's a real pleasure to see uh an [11:38] officer like this leading us today on [11:41] the Temple Mount. [11:44] Interesting that there is a yeshiva of [11:46] students out there that are praying um [11:50] that are praying outside of the Temple [11:52] Mount because they probably are not [11:54] Temple Mount goers. And so therefore [11:56] they are outside of the Temple Mount, [11:58] but they are yearning for the Temple [11:59] Mount. And so they're outside of the [12:01] gates of the Temple Mount praying. And [12:03] we waved to them as brothers uh of [12:07] really the same ideology but with uh [12:10] permissions and with understandings that [12:11] you can go to the temple mount should go [12:13] to the temple mount. And so that was [12:14] like an an interesting little visual [12:17] that you see uh the other yeshiva um um [12:21] outside the temple mount but praying [12:22] with the same ferveny for the the the to [12:26] God for to uh bless the new month uh [12:29] that we're entering the month of Adar. [12:31] Okay. the last moments on the Temple [12:33] Mount. Here's a Muslim guy praying [12:34] towards Mecca. Okay, Jerusalem not being [12:37] the holiest city for Islam and certainly [12:39] the holiest city for for the Jewish [12:41] people. Um, and now we are leaving the [12:44] Temple Mount. We're getting off the [12:45] Temple Mount. [12:47] >> A lot is said about uh praying for your [12:51] needs, praying for your family, praying [12:53] for the nation of Israel. But the truth [12:55] is is that the nation of Israel is [12:57] supposed to also pray for the world. [12:59] That's part of our job is to have a [13:01] global outlook and right now uh the [13:04] globe is in in a tizzy. Uh we got a lot [13:07] of bad agents out there uh that are um [13:11] darkening this world and taking it away [13:14] from a true service of God and also [13:15] taking it away from joy and from [13:17] progress and for beauty. Um and so we [13:21] have to really uh pray right now as the [13:23] Jewish people here in Jerusalem as [13:25] Jerusalem is being rebuilt. So too, we [13:27] ask God to protect the nations of this [13:29] world. Uh that he should shine his face [13:32] to them, that they will know him and [13:36] honor him. Um uh and I want to pray [13:39] specifically for the Iranian people uh [13:42] who are um being shot in the streets uh [13:46] when they protest. And so uh this is a [13:49] moment to really ask God for a healing [13:51] of this world. And this is the place to [13:53] do it on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. [13:55] And here we come right now to uh the [13:58] site of the uh golden dome which is the [14:00] dome of the rock which is where the holy [14:02] of holies was according to most [14:03] opinions. Uh and uh and here is uh the [14:08] back of the temple really uh and the [14:10] temple faces east that way. So we would [14:13] be in the back of the temple and we are [14:15] yearning for the third temple and we're [14:16] actively working on building it. I thank [14:18] you so much for being with me here on [14:20] the Temple Mount today and I'm sending [14:22] you blessings from the land of blessings [14:24] from the heart of the land of blessings [14:25] here in Jerusalem, the holy city uh and [14:28] with God's presence. Uh if you love what [14:30] we do have here on the Temple Mount, [14:32] Jerusalem and the land of Israel, you [14:33] want to also beautify the land of Israel [14:35] uh and strengthen it, restore it, please [14:37] go to buy me a coffee.com/shi [14:40] or fightforisrael.org [14:42] fightforisrael.org. Thank you for being [14:44] with me and thank you Hashem for the [14:45] privilege of being with you here on the [14:47] temple mount of Jerusalem this roar. God [14:50] bless you guys and shalom.
