Transcript [00:00] Shukra rabba, thank you everybody. [00:02] Fabulous conference, kol hakavod. [00:04] The Middle East Summit is a special [00:06] thing and I want to thank all of Tal, [00:08] and I want to thank Israel 365. Before [00:10] we go on, I want to just give a piece of [00:12] advice to Abby, who spoke just now from [00:14] Taiwan. [00:16] Uh, I think Abby that there's a really [00:19] easy way to make peace between Taiwan [00:21] and China. [00:23] Just split Taiwan in half [00:26] and give half to China and there'll be [00:29] peace. [00:30] >> Two-state solution? [00:31] >> The two-state solution. It will be fine. [00:33] Trust me, it works. Okay? Obviously, [00:37] when we say that, we see how ridiculous [00:39] the idea of splitting tiny Taiwan and [00:41] giving it away to China, so too [00:43] splitting up the land of Israel and [00:45] giving it to the jihad is silly and will [00:48] not work and has not worked. [00:50] Taiwan also faces a lot of challenges [00:53] from China, not just physical, which [00:55] they're training for all the time. [00:57] The other thing that Taiwan faces, which [00:59] Israel faces now, [01:01] is an influence war, a PR war. [01:06] And Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke about [01:08] this on CNN just two nights ago [01:11] uh, when he was on Inside Politics on [01:13] CNN, spoke for 17 minutes. And he said [01:15] one of the biggest threats that Israel [01:17] has today is TikTok. [01:20] TikTok, that Chinese-owned social media, [01:23] is sending about a thousand to one [01:26] anti-Israel messages as compared to [01:28] pro-Israel messages. We are losing the [01:31] information war because massive forces [01:34] are arrayed against us. Qatar, [01:37] China, Russia, Iran. [01:40] How do we fight [01:42] such a massive onslaught uh, against [01:46] formidable enemies who are not wasting [01:48] their time with democracy and taking all [01:50] of their resources to fight Israel, not [01:53] necessarily just because of [01:54] anti-Semitism, because they also want to [01:56] break the US-Israel relationship. Okay, [01:59] so let me turn to two masters that are [02:01] here today, Rabbi Wolpe and Hillel Fuld, [02:05] people who I follow and so you and you [02:07] follow as well, who are doing an amazing [02:09] job out there at fighting for Israel's [02:11] voice, but are drowned out sometimes not [02:14] just by so much hate but by algorithms [02:17] that suppress us. All right, let's start [02:19] with Hillel Fuld. Hillel, how do we [02:21] fight such a massive onslaught against [02:24] our good name, the good name of Israel? [02:26] >> I'm going to tell you something top [02:27] secret right now that nobody knows. [02:30] Go quiet. I got it. Yeah, there's [02:31] nothing top secret. I just wanted to be [02:32] quiet. Um [02:34] all right, so the truth is this is we [02:35] talked about this before. There's a [02:36] there's a very big misconception. People [02:38] think we're losing the information war [02:40] because they outnumber us. That's not [02:42] the reason. The reason that we're losing [02:43] the information war is because our [02:45] enemies are masters of narratives, [02:47] masters of storytelling. Now, their [02:49] stories and their narratives are all [02:51] lies, but the reality is that anybody, [02:54] whether you're 3 years old or 93 years [02:55] old, you can understand, you are [02:57] oppressing us, free Palestine. Easy [02:59] narrative. [03:00] >> You're what? [03:01] >> You are oppressing us. [03:02] >> Right. [03:02] >> Free Palestine. [03:03] >> That's it. [03:03] >> You're oppressing us, free Palestine. [03:04] >> Easy. [03:05] >> Right? [03:05] >> What's our narrative? Go look at 20 [03:07] Israel advocates and count how many [03:09] stories they're telling. 35. We don't [03:11] have a narrative. Well, we do. We have [03:13] an amazing story, we just don't tell it. [03:14] So, I think much like, by the way, the [03:16] tech world, my my my previous life, [03:18] we're very bad at storytelling. We're [03:20] very bad at marketing and it's time that [03:22] we got the brightest minds in this [03:23] country into a room and again, do what [03:26] you do when you market a company. Who's [03:27] your target audience? What's your [03:29] narrative? What's the vehicle by which [03:30] you're going to get the narrative out [03:31] there? And attack them with their own [03:33] ammunition. These guys have media kits, [03:35] they have PDFs, they have I mean, you [03:37] know, all eyes on Rafa, that didn't just [03:39] come to be. [03:40] >> But are you saying that size doesn't [03:41] matter? The the giant onslaught is not [03:43] affecting us? It's just because of our [03:45] bad storytelling? [03:46] >> I don't think it's a numbers thing at [03:47] all. I just think they're very good at [03:48] what they do. And again, media kits, [03:50] PDFs, Zoom calls, and we're just firing [03:52] in all directions, and that's the [03:53] problem. [03:54] >> Okay, uh Rabbi Pesach Wolicki is on the [03:57] front lines, uh especially within the [04:00] conservative right-wing camp in the [04:02] United States. He's on conservative talk [04:04] shows, and has really been kind of the [04:06] voice of Israel in that direction. [04:09] I hear reports that we're losing young [04:11] Christians, you losing the Republican [04:13] Party. Is that true? Is that what you [04:15] sense? [04:16] >> It's true that among younger politically [04:19] conservative Americans, among younger [04:21] Christians, there has been a swing away [04:25] from support for Israel. However, [04:28] however, I'm going to [04:30] I'm going to give you two bright spots [04:31] to look at. [04:33] One [04:34] is an experience that I had. [04:37] Every year I attend the largest [04:40] gathering [04:42] of politically conservative activists in [04:44] America. It's called America Fest. It's [04:46] hosted by Turning Point USA. [04:49] It is a massive gathering. [04:51] A convention the size of which you could [04:53] never imagine in Israel. This past year [04:55] there were 40,000 people there attending [04:57] a convention. 40,000 people. [05:01] And [05:02] I expected to go in there, and it's [05:04] mostly young people. The Turning Point [05:05] is a student organization mainly. So, [05:09] well over half of the people there were [05:11] young. [05:12] And I expected to go in there and be [05:14] going into a hostile environment, [05:16] especially because at some Turning Point [05:19] events in the months before it. It takes [05:21] place every December. So, this was [05:22] December 2025. [05:24] And um [05:25] Tucker Carlson has been a speaker at a [05:28] lot of Turning Point events, and a lot [05:30] of people know that from media because [05:31] Charlie Kirk was adamant about [05:34] platforming every voice, even voices he [05:36] disagreed with. That's And I had a very [05:39] close relationship with Charlie. It was [05:40] something I didn't necessarily agree [05:41] with him, but he would have these [05:43] anti-Israel voices there. [05:46] And I expected to go into an environment [05:48] that was hostile based on everything I'd [05:50] heard, and I spent the four days at the [05:51] convention, [05:53] and it was anything but hostile. But, [05:56] let me prove it to you. They poll the [05:58] attendees [06:00] at the Turning Point convention every [06:02] year, cuz it's tens of thousands of [06:04] people, and they do and they do polling [06:06] during throughout the event. [06:09] According to the polling of Turning [06:11] Point participants, [06:13] 33% [06:15] when asked where Israel is as an ally of [06:18] America, 33% that Israel said that [06:21] Israel is America's number one number [06:24] one ally. [06:26] 53% said that Israel is an ally, [06:30] and only 13% [06:32] said that Israel is not an ally. [06:35] Meaning, the population there was [06:36] overwhelmingly favorable to Israel. [06:40] There was a disconnect bet- between a [06:42] lot of the anti-Israel speakers [06:45] and the population who was there. There [06:47] were also pro-Israel speakers who you [06:49] didn't hear about in media, because that [06:51] doesn't get clicks. We all get excited [06:53] when someone says something anti-Israel. [06:55] The population was much more pro-Israel. [06:58] The other data point I want to share [06:59] with you [07:01] is look around the world. Let's expand [07:04] our view beyond the United States of [07:05] America. [07:07] The Orbán supporters in Hungary, the Vox [07:10] supporters in Spain, the Farage and [07:13] Tommy Robinson supporters in England, [07:16] the Wilders supporters in in the [07:18] Netherlands, the Bolsonaro supporters in [07:20] Brazil, [07:22] and the 11 or 12 heads of state in [07:25] Central and South America, most of have [07:27] been elected in the last two to three [07:29] years, who are all pro-Israel and ran on [07:32] pro-Israel tickets, including a few [07:34] elections that have happened in the last [07:35] month. [07:37] All around the world, politically [07:39] conservative young Christians are [07:41] lockstep pro-Israel. [07:43] There is a problem in America. It has a [07:46] lot to do with issues that have to do [07:48] with internal American politics, and I [07:51] believe that social media reality and [07:54] actual reality on the ground are not the [07:57] same. I'm not saying that everything is [07:59] fine, but I'm saying the problem is a [08:01] lot less serious than we think it is. [08:05] Okay, thank you very much, Paysach. All [08:06] right. [08:08] Yeah, I don't know. You know, I I mean [08:10] hearing what you're saying, but I I'm [08:11] not sure I'm so, you know, totally [08:13] confident about that. Uh but but thank [08:15] you for for giving us a little bit of [08:16] heart. Um [08:18] we don't have so much time, Hillel. So, [08:20] I want to ask you [08:23] there's many points which we can [08:25] strengthen or get rid of the way we do [08:27] PR. Concentrate on one for me. Give me [08:30] one messaging that either we should get [08:33] rid of [08:34] or that we should add on to to do a [08:37] better job for promoting Israel. We need [08:39] to get off of defense. [08:40] Period. [08:42] We are not committing genocide. All you [08:43] hear is genocide. When I say we are not [08:45] committing genocide, you don't hear the [08:46] we are not. All you hear is genocide. [08:48] Enough with that already. So, I'll tell [08:50] you something that I heard in the [08:50] beginning of the war that I think is the [08:52] whole thing. [08:53] So, we every single Jew in the world and [08:56] every single Christian in the world [08:57] knows a certain verse in Genesis, [08:58] "Va'avraham [08:59] v'echechah, those who bless the Jewish [09:00] people will be blessed, those who curse [09:02] the Jewish people will be cursed." [09:03] Everyone knows that that verse. By the [09:04] way, parentheses, if you look at the top [09:06] 10 most valuable companies in the world, [09:08] nine out of 10 of them are [09:10] hyper-Zionists. Just saying. [09:12] >> But anyway [09:12] >> Like Nvidia [09:13] >> Nvidia Nvidia has tripled their presence [09:15] in Israel. They're the most valuable [09:16] company in the world. And Google and [09:17] Apple and Microsoft and Amazon, all of [09:18] them. [09:18] >> That's a great point. [09:19] >> Yeah. But when But the But the [09:21] interesting thing that I heard is that [09:22] if you look at that pasuk, we've all [09:24] read this. I don't know how many of you [09:25] paid attention to this. I didn't. It's a [09:27] strange thing grammatically. "Va'avraham [09:29] v'echechah brachah." "U'mekalelcha," I [09:31] should say, "akalel." It says "or." [09:33] Yeah, what is that? Right? The Torah I [09:35] mean, "or" means I will curse, but I [09:37] mean, it yelled. Once you see it, you [09:38] can't unsee it. Why does the Torah [09:39] switch language? So, Rabbi Ephraim [09:41] Goldberg said beautiful thing. The word [09:43] ah, or has another word in it. [09:45] Or. [09:46] The right way to read that pasuk is [09:48] those who bless the Jewish people will [09:49] be blessed. Those who curse the Jewish [09:51] people, we they will see our or. They [09:53] will see our light. They will see our [09:55] unity and our delegations and our [09:57] friends around the world and our [09:58] support. They'll see the incredible [09:59] light of the Jewish people. And the [10:00] darker they get, the brighter we get. [10:02] Now, that sounds very nice as an [10:04] abstract concept, but it's not abstract [10:05] because you want to look at any metric. [10:07] [clears throat] [10:08] I mean, you know, for me, you look at [10:09] the innovation world in Israel. [10:11] It makes no sense. Let's just say that [10:13] we're a country smaller than New Jersey [10:14] in the worst neighborhood on Earth. We [10:15] dominate every sector of technology [10:17] across the board with no exceptions. And [10:19] we're just growing. And we talked about [10:21] this earlier. This is a a biblical [10:23] concept, right? In Mitzrayim, it [10:25] literally says that the more the [10:26] Egyptians persecuted the Israelites, the [10:28] more the Israelites flourished, which is [10:30] the most counterintuitive thing in the [10:31] world. But now you look at during the [10:32] war, we broke M&A, mergers and [10:35] acquisitions. We broke large strategic [10:36] rounds of financing. Google made its [10:38] biggest acquisition in its history, an [10:40] Israeli company. Apple acquired the same [10:42] guy, the same entrepreneur for a second [10:45] time during the war. We're breaking [10:46] records. They're attacking us. Half our [10:48] country's in reserves, and we're [10:49] breaking records. So, the bottom line is [10:51] we're living in literal, as far as I'm [10:53] concerned, biblical times. We're seeing [10:55] incredible things. We need to stop [10:57] apologizing. We need to stop playing [10:58] defense. We need to get up and say, "You [11:01] don't like us? Whoever you are, wherever [11:03] you are in the world, we've enhanced [11:04] your life. You don't like it? Put down [11:06] your phone, put down your computer, and [11:07] go use a pigeon." [11:09] >> Amen. Come on, everybody. Let's hear a [11:11] round of applause for that. Wonderful. [11:12] I'll give you the mic in a second. I [11:14] want to say that those are great points. [11:17] And it is in a miracle. We are we are [11:19] living in miracles. [11:20] For myself, [11:22] and also a partner of mine here at the [11:24] in the audience, is Yair Dan. And [11:27] together for the last 4 years, we've [11:28] been pushing the biblical highway, [11:30] changing the name of Route 60, which [11:32] goes through the biblical heartland, [11:34] from Beersheba through Judea and [11:36] Samaria, through Jerusalem, and now it's [11:38] going to be called the biblical highway. [11:41] It's like Route 66 in America. It's a [11:43] marketed, branded highway, and bezrat [11:46] Hashem, we're going to keep pushing that [11:47] because that's what the world wants to [11:48] see from us as well. They want to see [11:50] the Bible alive. Pesach Wolicki, if you [11:53] can give us your thoughts about what [11:55] either Israel should stop doing or do [11:58] more of in order to win the information [12:00] war. [12:00] >> Well, I I think we need to be more [12:02] coordinated. We need to we need to be [12:03] more together. The left is very [12:05] organized. Whenever there's a [12:08] a reason to attack Israel, hits the [12:10] headlines, we see all the same tweets, [12:12] all the same slogans, all the same [12:14] messaging. The left is very well [12:16] coordinated and very well organized. And [12:18] on our side, everyone's in their own [12:20] silos, everyone's competing with each [12:22] other, and as Hillel said, everyone's [12:24] got different stories to tell, and we [12:26] need to get more organized, to have [12:29] better communication between us, to have [12:31] better rapid response. [12:33] Uh there if you go looking for [12:35] information about Israel, about a [12:37] particular issue, you find websites that [12:40] look like they were made in the '90s. We [12:42] need to be more coordinated, we need to [12:44] be quicker, and that is something that [12:46] we should be able to do. With all of the [12:48] resources and all of the tech and all of [12:50] the innovation that we have in Israel, [12:51] we got to be able to get this right. [12:54] >> Great point, amazing point, but not an [12:56] easy point, though. Coordination between [12:58] Jews is not easy. Remember, our central [13:00] book is the Talmud, a book of [13:02] argumentation. It's not like we all get [13:04] on the same page so easily. So, maybe [13:07] just very quickly, how do we overcome [13:08] that? Also, we have a democracy, changes [13:10] every few years. We don't even have a [13:12] date when it changes. It just kind of, [13:14] you know, whenever they willy-nilly [13:15] decide. So, we're not like as organized [13:17] as that. So, what do you want us to [13:18] become, all Yekkish? Like, how are we [13:19] going to get all behind one message? So, [13:21] give me just a quick thought on that. [13:22] >> Well, I I'm you know, there's a lot of [13:24] different ways to do it, but one of them [13:26] would be if the government would [13:27] allocate resources better, and the [13:29] government could pull us together [13:31] because if they corralled all the all [13:33] the influencers and all the people who [13:34] are doing the messaging, and you know, [13:36] Prime Minister Netanyahu loves to say [13:38] that this is the eighth front of the [13:39] war, and I appreciate that, and I have [13:41] so much respect for for the Prime [13:42] Minister, but the state of Israel should [13:45] invest in this war the way they invest [13:47] in the other fronts, and they don't do [13:48] that. [13:49] >> Very good. Uh we have about 2 minutes [13:52] left, so very quickly, uh Hillel, one of [13:55] the things that I've noticed is that our [13:56] beloved Israel doesn't always think big. [14:00] When Israeli companies get big, they [14:02] exit. They sell. How do we change the [14:05] mindset to wanting to be big? Look at [14:07] the northern the South Lebanon our north [14:10] uh there's Christian communities who are [14:12] like, "Please take us in." We're like, [14:14] "No, no, no." They're like, "Give us [14:15] independence. Defend us." No, no, no. [14:17] The Druze, the Kurds. How do we get into [14:19] a mindset of bigger, of bigness, to make [14:22] Israel that bigger power that it's [14:24] obviously trying to be born into? [14:26] >> So, I'm going to share something with [14:27] you that that now, no joke. This is I [14:29] guarantee you if you listen to this, [14:31] you're going to get chills in your whole [14:32] body. I'm not kidding around with you. [14:33] You ready for this? It's going to blow [14:33] your mind. [14:35] The very first thing that we know about [14:36] our nation, before we were even Jews, we [14:37] were Israelites, standing at Har Sinai, [14:39] what does it say? [14:41] We were camped out at the bottom of the [14:42] mountain, and everybody knows it because [14:44] we said it says [14:46] millions of people Torah just said they [14:47] were camped out. Famously, Rashi says [14:51] they were unified, meaning unity is the [14:53] first thing we know about our nation. [14:54] Our strength is in our unity. You ready [14:56] for this? Listen to this. [14:58] If you think about an event that took [15:00] place over the last 2 years after [15:01] October 7th that unified the entire [15:03] nation, that day there was no politics, [15:05] there was no division, pure love and [15:07] unity. Now, unfortunately, we were [15:09] mourning together, but there was unity, [15:10] and that is the day that the Bibas [15:11] family came back. There was no politics [15:13] that day. You ready for this? [15:16] What are the names of the Bibas family? [15:17] Kfir, [15:18] Ariel, Yarden, Shiri. I'll do that [15:21] again. Kfir, kaf. Ariel, aleph. Yarden, [15:24] yud. Shiri, shin. Kiish. [15:28] Right? [15:28] >> Wow. [15:29] >> He made us again. Kiish is Kiish. Am [15:31] Yisrael [15:31] >> We need to not wait for tragedy to unify [15:34] us. Enough already. We're an incredible [15:36] nation. We need to stand up. You know, [15:37] when I talk about why anti-Semitism [15:39] exists, I say it's because we're the [15:41] source of morality in the world. We [15:42] brought The Bible is How does the world [15:44] know it's immoral to murder? It wasn't [15:45] in ancient times. The Bible. And we're [15:47] like afraid to say that. And when I [15:49] write posts about you know, the you [15:50] know, the haters, "Oh, you're the source [15:51] of morality. You're committing [15:52] genocide." Okay, fine. You know what? I [15:54] think it's time I keep saying it. I [15:55] sound like a bro We need to stop [15:56] apologizing. Look what we've done for [15:58] this world. Whether it's the Nobel [15:59] Prizes or first on scene at a natural [16:01] disaster in Venezuela or any other [16:04] metric you want to look at. Whether it's [16:05] technology or it's private SECTOR, [16:06] PUBLIC, HOWEVER YOU WANT TO LOOK at it. [16:08] We are an incredible, incredible nation. [16:11] Enough apologizing. Stand up together [16:13] and say we are incredible. And if you [16:15] don't like it, get out of my face. I [16:16] don't care what you think. [16:17] >> Very good. Amen. Uh yeah, that's right. [16:20] The The first deserves around of [16:22] >> Clap it up, Rami Srouji. [16:24] >> We are out of time. Before I [16:26] let go of the mic, I just want to say [16:27] thank you also people here in the [16:29] audience that are not Jewish, including [16:31] our brothers and sisters from Hayovel, [16:33] the Israel guys who are doing an amazing [16:36] job defending us and reaching out and [16:38] also helping us beautify the land of [16:40] Israel. Am Yisrael is indeed alive. We [16:43] are fighting hard out there, and I think [16:45] that just within a few years when all of [16:47] our enemies will fall even more, they'll [16:50] see this Migdal Or, this lighthouse, [16:53] this this tower of light that's [16:55] emanating from Israel and of course from [16:57] Yerushalayim. Am Yisrael Chai. Thank you [16:58] very much. Thank you, Rabbi Pesach [17:00] Wolicki. [17:01] And thank you, Hillel Fuld. Todah rabah.
