Transcript [00:00] Oh, God knows how forgetful we are. [00:02] >> [music] [00:02] >> So, he established festivals as [00:04] remembrance to ensure we would not [00:06] forget what he has brought us out of and [00:09] what he has done for us. [music] Sukkot [00:11] is one of those commemorations. Sukkot [00:14] is a time to remember with joy. God [00:16] actually commands it. This joy [music] [00:18] is springs from the intentional act of [00:20] remembering. The psalmist often [00:23] practices spiritual discipline, [00:24] recounting [music] Israel's story and [00:26] the many ways God intervened on their [00:28] behalf. In revisiting past examples of [00:31] God's power and [music] faithfulness, [00:34] these writers found comfort and peace in [00:36] the circumstances they faced and they [00:38] passed on [music] the encouragement to [00:40] generations after them. The practice of [00:42] remembrance imparts strength [music] [00:45] and inspires us to share about our great [00:48] God. What are some of those God [music] [00:51] stories in your life? Thank him for them [00:54] and consider sharing his wonders with [00:56] others so they will be uplifted by God's [00:59] goodness. [01:00] >> [music] [01:01] >> Hey, if you like this kind of content, [01:02] follow us, like us. We're here to spread [01:04] the light, spread the good news of [01:06] Yeshua and to see all Israel saved and [01:09] the nations and to finally see the Lord [01:11] come back, to finally see that ultimate [01:14] Sukkot. This is a series about Sukkot, [01:16] brief but very powerful, so join us.
God knows how quickly we forget.
That's why He gave us Sukkot, a sacred time to remember all He has done and rejoice in His faithfulness.
So here's our question for you: What are the God-stories in your life?
This is Day 1 of our 7-part journey through the Feast of Tabernacles.
