Transcript [00:00] So, the memorandum of understanding that [00:03] everyone's been talking about, that I've [00:04] been talking about, it's hard to get [00:05] onto any other topic. What I want to lay [00:07] out in this video is how the Iranian [00:11] regime [00:12] is talking about the deal, specifically [00:15] how much they're talking about Lebanon. [00:16] I made another video about this the [00:18] other day, but what I want to get into [00:19] here [00:20] is what I believe we should be seeing in [00:23] the coming days, and that is that this [00:25] will fall apart over the issue of [00:28] Lebanon. [00:29] And [00:31] uh what type of position that this puts [00:33] Israel in. So, it's going to be very [00:34] interesting few days and weeks ahead. [00:38] But Lebanon is going to be center stage [00:39] in all the conversations. Let's get [00:41] right to the headlines up from today. [00:43] So, this is uh we'll start with a number [00:45] of pieces from Iranian state media. [00:47] From IRNA, here is uh Iran and [00:50] Hezbollah. This is from uh yesterday. [00:52] Iran and Hezbollah in equation beyond [00:56] the region. [00:57] This is worth reading through. Hours [00:59] ago, the Israeli army once again [01:00] attacked Dahiyeh in southern Beirut. [01:02] This is from yesterday. Reports indicate [01:04] that the targeted assassination of a [01:06] high-ranking Hezbollah official in this [01:08] area was the focus of this crime. [01:12] However, further data regarding this [01:13] matter is not yet been published. [01:17] The fundamental issue is that the [01:18] continuation of the Israeli regime's [01:20] attacks on southern Lebanon and now [01:22] targeting the Dahiyeh must by no means [01:24] be interpreted as actions outside the [01:27] framework of the memorandum of [01:28] understanding under discussion between [01:30] the United States and Iran or in [01:32] opposition to it. In other words, [01:33] anything Israel does has to be [01:34] understood as connected to the United [01:36] States and bound by it. These attacks by [01:38] the Israeli regime are neither meant to [01:40] destroy and disrupt the process leading [01:42] to an agreement between Iran and the [01:43] United States, nor are they intended to [01:46] prevent the signing of the memorandum. [01:48] Rather, coincidentally, this series of [01:50] crimes is a planned component of this [01:52] very process. You see, the Iranians [01:54] claim [01:55] that when the Israelis attack in [01:57] Lebanon, it's all closely coordinated [01:59] with America and it's all part of [02:00] America's pressure tactics. [02:03] Through its relentless attacks on [02:05] Lebanon, [02:06] the Israeli regime pursues both its [02:08] individual and specific goals in line [02:10] with the greater Israel project as well [02:13] as its shared goals with America toward [02:15] establishing a new security order in the [02:17] region. Experience has also shown that [02:20] the Israeli regime does not retreat even [02:22] a single step from its strategic goals [02:24] and its policy of occupation in the [02:25] region. Israel's attacks on Lebanon [02:28] carried out with the knowledge and [02:30] coordination of the United States and [02:32] alongside the framing of the Iran-US [02:34] memorandum are aligned with the goal of [02:36] stabilizing the regional equations [02:39] desired by Tel Aviv-Washington, [02:43] which is specifically envisioned in [02:44] clause one of this prospective [02:46] memorandum as the cornerstone of a [02:48] regional JCPOA. [02:51] Okay. Did you understand what what that [02:53] word salad said? [02:56] It's basically saying that this is all [02:58] part of America and Israel's plan. What [03:00] are they doing? I talked about this in a [03:02] couple videos recently. The Iranians [03:04] want to paint every Israeli action [03:07] as an American action, as directed by [03:11] America and in coordination with [03:12] America. So that when the Israelis act [03:15] independently against Hezbollah in [03:16] Lebanon, the Iranians can point to that [03:19] and say the Americans are not acting in [03:21] good faith. What does this in turn do? [03:24] This in turn ramps up the pressure that [03:27] President Trump will place on the [03:28] Israelis [03:31] to [03:32] back off, to not retaliate, to not [03:35] attack. [03:37] Right? So by pointing the finger at [03:39] America every time Israel does [03:40] something, the Iranians gain leverage [03:43] over over President Trump because they [03:45] know that he wants a deal and he doesn't [03:47] want kinetic activity. [03:49] And here's where this article gets [03:50] really interesting. Okay, and this is [03:52] and that's This is the whole article. [03:53] It's not so long, but it now goes [03:55] through [03:57] seven [03:58] goals [04:00] that it sees Israel as pursuing [04:03] by attacking Lebanon. [04:07] Fascinating, right? It's saying that [04:09] Israel is trying to achieve seven [04:11] different things. [04:12] Number one, [04:14] suppressing and destructuring the [04:16] Lebanese resistance as well as rendering [04:18] Hezbollah's combat organization [04:20] non-operational [04:21] for a non-short period of time. This is [04:24] absolutely correct. This is the main [04:25] thing Israel's trying to accomplish. [04:27] Very strange grouping of words. This is [04:29] obviously translated from the Persian [04:31] using some sort of software. Suppressing [04:33] and destructuring the Lebanese [04:35] resistance Destructuring, I guess, means [04:36] dismantling. [04:38] Right? And and rendering Hezbollah's [04:40] combat organization non-operational for [04:42] a non-short period of time, meaning for [04:45] a long time. [04:46] Number two, reducing public resilience [04:48] in Lebanon due to the prolonged state of [04:50] war and its our Jewish consequences and [04:52] subsequently increasing internal and [04:54] external pressures for the formal [04:56] disarmament of Hezbollah. This is also [04:57] true. This is another goal of Israel's. [04:59] You want meaning putting pressure on the [05:02] Lebanese people, the Lebanese polity [05:06] to in turn put pressure on Hezbollah. [05:09] Right? We want to ramp up internal and [05:12] external pressures for the formal [05:14] dismantlement of disarmament of [05:16] Hezbollah. True. [05:18] Number three, the de-Shiitization [05:20] of southern Lebanon as the logical [05:22] outcome of creating a wide buffer zone. [05:26] The complete destruction of Shia [05:27] populated villages and towns within this [05:29] perimeter and expanding the occupation [05:31] of Lebanese territory [05:33] over 20%, which has been carried out [05:35] under the pretext of creating a secure [05:37] zone and preventing the presence and [05:38] activity of Hezbollah resistance forces. [05:41] And it's explicitly in violation of [05:42] international treaties and laws. It is [05:44] not explicitly in violation of [05:45] international treaties and laws. [05:47] Uh it is actually a fulfillment of uh [05:50] UN Security Council Resolution 1701, [05:53] which calls for a complete disarmament [05:55] south of the Litani River. [05:57] And it does not allow Hezbollah to be [05:59] operating there. But yes, Israel is [06:01] trying to push Hezbollah out of the of [06:03] southern Lebanon. So okay, that's so far [06:05] that's that's that's the first three [06:06] goals. [06:08] Number four, testing Iran's will to [06:10] defend its most important regional ally [06:12] and its resolve to rebuild its regional [06:14] deterrence on the eve of signing the [06:17] memorandum with America for two [06:19] purposes. [06:21] Assessing the manageability of Iran's [06:23] responsiveness within the framework of [06:25] the current memorandum and subsequent [06:27] agreements. It's highly crucial for the [06:29] Israeli regime to see what extent to [06:31] what extent Iran remains committed to [06:33] the new equation it claims to have [06:34] created in the region. And number two, [06:36] or B, in the event that Iran does not [06:38] respond to these attacks, Israel will [06:40] use this lack of reaction as an assist [06:43] to the Lebanese government and the [06:45] anti-resistance political forces in [06:47] Lebanon, meaning the anti-Hezbollah [06:49] political forces in Lebanon and [06:50] throughout the region. [06:52] By reinforcing the margins and the [06:53] anti-Iran [06:55] propaganda, claiming that Hezbollah is [06:58] merely a bargaining chip in Iran's [06:59] hands, it will depict that for Iran the [07:02] understanding with America is more [07:03] important than the existence of [07:05] resistance arms, thereby pressuring [07:06] Hezbollah from within Lebanon more than [07:08] ever before. This is an interesting [07:10] uh one, this whole number four here. [07:12] What it's saying is that one of the [07:14] goals of Israel [07:15] is testing Iran's willingness to step up [07:20] and respond and defend Hezbollah. [07:23] And that that then gets gamed out in the [07:26] following way. [07:28] That [07:30] they can [07:32] they can assess Iran's responsiveness. [07:36] But also, if Iran doesn't respond [07:39] then [07:41] that [07:43] is what they call an assist to the [07:45] Lebanese government and anti-Hezbollah [07:47] political forces in Lebanon and [07:49] throughout the region, meaning it shows [07:50] Hezbollah it shows it shows that [07:52] Hezbollah doesn't have the backing of [07:53] Iran and it gives the Lebanese [07:55] government and the anti-Hezbollah forces [07:58] in Lebanon maybe a little bit more of [08:01] a confidence about getting rid of [08:03] Hezbollah. [08:04] Okay, number five, instilling a false [08:06] duality in the single image of an unruly [08:10] Netanyahu on the field and an angry [08:12] Trump in the media and attempting to [08:14] impose on Iran impose it on Iran even if [08:17] it is accepted by Tehran as a tactical [08:19] assumption to secure interests so that [08:21] it remains silent in the face of the [08:23] violation of one of the main provisions [08:24] of the memorandum. This is an important [08:26] step for for Tel Aviv-Washington Tel [08:29] Aviv-Washington to determine the rules [08:30] of the game. Signal Iran's lower hand [08:33] position and solidify the outer [08:35] framework role of the Israeli regime as [08:37] America's long shadow in the region. In [08:39] other words, [08:40] one of the goals of Israel attacking on [08:42] Lebanon is to create a false duality [08:46] that that Netanyahu and Trump are are [08:49] acting independently that Israel is an [08:51] independent nation that does not just [08:53] follow the dictates of America. [08:55] And that's part of why they're doing it [08:57] but it's all really a deception play by [08:59] the Israelis and the Americans. [09:03] Okay, number six, drawing a horizon for [09:06] the next steps towards realizing a mega [09:08] project that can implicitly be called [09:10] the regional JCPOA under which the case [09:13] of the resistance front will be [09:14] determined by closed and closed [09:18] step by step. [09:21] In other words, [09:23] reaching some regional restructuring [09:25] that leads to a lack of proxies. [09:29] That's what it means. Lack of Iranian [09:31] proxies in the region. And number seven, [09:33] and this one is I had I had this about [09:35] four or five times before I understood [09:37] what it was trying to say. [09:39] Because I get ready for this word salad. [09:42] Testing the feasibility of breaking the [09:44] taboo of Iran's cessation of hostilities [09:47] with the Israeli regime after 47 years, [09:50] even if on a de facto basis, will be a [09:53] sign of the potential for transformation [09:55] of the Islamic Republic of Iran's system [09:58] with its characteristics up to this [10:00] point and a victory for the Western [10:02] Hebrew-Arab axis. Now, [10:06] does that make any sense at all? [10:09] Um [10:10] no, it does not. [10:12] Okay, so let me explain what this what [10:14] this point mean. Okay, so cuz it's [10:16] what This is what it's essentially [10:17] saying. [10:19] It's saying [10:22] that [10:23] um the core claim of this clause is that [10:27] Israel's testing whether Iran will [10:29] effectively stop fighting Israel, [10:33] not formally, not on paper, but in [10:35] practice, meaning if it that Israel is [10:38] trying to test whether Iran will stop [10:41] fighting Israel [10:42] for the first time in 47 years. [10:45] So, let's look at these phrases. [10:47] Breaking the taboo, right? Testing the [10:49] feasibility of breaking the taboo [10:53] of Iran's cessation of hostilities. In [10:55] other words, if Iran goes quiet, not [10:57] retaliating against Israeli strikes, not [11:00] using their proxies to attack Israel, [11:03] it it essentially is accepting a de [11:05] facto ceasefire with Israel even without [11:07] calling it one. [11:09] And that's why it says, testing the [11:10] feasibility of breaking the taboo of [11:12] Israel's of Iran's cessation of [11:13] hostilities with the Israeli regime even [11:16] on a de facto basis. What does that [11:18] mean? It doesn't have to be a signed [11:20] peace deal. If Iran just doesn't respond [11:22] to Israel hitting Hezbollah, [11:25] then there's a de facto [11:27] cessation of hostilities, and that means [11:30] that Iran is no longer attacking Israel. [11:34] And this is then they go on to say that [11:36] this is this would be a sign of the [11:37] potential for transformation of the [11:39] Islamic Republic, meaning if Iran [11:41] accepts this situation, meaning they're [11:43] not attacking Israel, they're not [11:44] retaliating against Israel, they're not [11:46] coming to Hezbollah's defense, it would [11:48] signal that the Islamic Republic is [11:50] fundamentally changing. [11:52] And because they've been chanting death [11:53] to Israel and that's been a doctrine [11:55] that has defined it, it's how they spend [11:57] their money since 1979 and this would be [12:00] an ideological rupture, not just a [12:02] tactical retreat. [12:04] And this would in turn be a victory for [12:06] the Western Hebrew-Arab axis, the [12:08] US-Israel-Arab states. [12:10] And they would all win if Iran quietly [12:13] drops its anti-Israel posture. You know, [12:15] in other words, there's an underlying [12:17] anxiety in this article. This is why I [12:19] read through the whole thing. [12:20] Iran is currently negotiating a nuclear [12:24] / regional memorandum of understanding, [12:26] right? That's what they're doing. And [12:28] their fear [12:30] is that in order to get the deal done, [12:32] they're implicitly agreeing to let [12:34] Israel pound Hezbollah without [12:35] responding. [12:38] And that's what they're worried about. [12:39] They're worried about that concession [12:41] and if Iran stays silent long enough, [12:44] then the 47-year ideological commitment [12:46] to confronting Israel, to attacking [12:47] Israel collapses. So, there's basically [12:50] a threat in this final [12:53] uh in this in this final clause. [12:57] This final point seven, which they saved [12:59] for the end and they and they and they [13:02] And you notice how [13:03] the rest of the document was pretty [13:04] clear in its wording and then this one [13:06] becomes this complex word salad. I [13:08] believe putting it last and wrapping it [13:10] up in this word salad [13:12] is [13:14] is all it is all is all by design. Let [13:16] me explain. [13:18] Because again, what they're saying in [13:19] point seven is if Iran stays quiet while [13:22] Israel bombs Hezbollah, Iran has [13:24] betrayed everything that stood for since [13:26] 1979. [13:29] Okay? And that's [13:30] that's what they're worried about. [13:34] Right? And and and and the rhetorical [13:36] flourish of it, the confusion of it. [13:38] Points one through six were relatively [13:39] clear and well-structured, and then [13:41] point seven is this dense [13:44] fog. [13:45] And I think it's deliberate. I think the [13:47] obfuscation here [13:50] is [13:51] is basically making it sound like [13:53] they're just doing strategic analysis, [13:55] but there's actually a threat. [13:59] Because here's the logic chain. [14:01] Any deal with the US that leaves Israel [14:02] free to attack Hezbollah is a de facto [14:05] ceasefire with Israel between Iran and [14:07] Israel. It means Iran is no longer [14:10] uh [14:12] employing the death to Israel doctrine. [14:14] Number two, a de facto ceasefire with [14:16] Israel is an ideological betrayal of the [14:19] entire revolution. [14:21] And number three, therefore, the [14:22] hardliners are obligated by their own [14:25] declared principles to keep attacking [14:28] Israel regardless of what the [14:29] negotiators agree to. [14:33] Okay, this is [14:34] this is a message to the Iranian [14:36] hardliners [14:38] um and the IRGC factions to not let the [14:41] diplomats sell them out with a deal that [14:45] that that eases up the pressure on [14:47] Israel. [14:49] Right? It's not a This isn't a direct [14:50] call to attack Israel. That would be too [14:52] much. They dress it up in this complex [14:54] language and make it sound like a piece [14:55] of analysis. [14:57] Right? [14:59] That's why I think it was it was last [15:01] year. So, let's go quickly through some [15:02] other things. And then they have this [15:03] other piece here. This is from today. [15:05] Netanyahu saying we will not withdraw [15:06] from southern Lebanon. So, they bring it [15:08] up. [15:10] Um and it talks about how uh tensions [15:12] are increasing. [15:13] And then another piece today, Iranian [15:15] source denies Lebanon exclusion from the [15:18] from the memorandum because the [15:20] Americans say Israeli withdrawal from [15:22] Lebanon not part of US Iran deal, White [15:24] House official says. So, they [15:26] immediately say that is not true. It is [15:27] part of it. [15:29] According to the source close to the [15:30] Iranian negotiating team, the [15:31] simultaneous emphasis on ending [15:33] hostilities and the addition of the [15:35] Lebanon-related clause carry [15:36] implications that extend beyond purely [15:38] diplomatic or legal framework. [15:41] Some political observers view the move [15:42] as sending broader regional signals. [15:47] Okay, and this came in response to a [15:49] report on Al Jazeera, which cited a US [15:51] official saying the withdrawal from [15:52] Lebanon was not part of the agreement. [15:54] So, this is reported on Al Jazeera. [15:58] Okay. And then we see this also from [16:00] Bagaei, who is the Foreign Ministry [16:02] spokesperson. [16:03] And he said last night [16:05] uh Israeli aggression turned opportunity [16:07] turned into opportunity to secure Iran [16:10] {slash} Lebanon interests, says Foreign [16:13] Ministry spokesperson. [16:16] Right? [16:17] Um [16:19] And then this this section here, this is [16:20] the key section. The spokesperson said [16:22] that ending the war and securing a [16:23] ceasefire in Lebanon formed an [16:25] inseparable part of the of the ceasefire [16:27] agreement, adding that Iran had [16:29] demonstrated in practice that it was [16:30] serious about implementing the [16:31] agreement. No, they did not, because [16:33] Hezbollah kept attacking Israel. I think [16:34] one of the things that Israel needs to [16:36] do strategically [16:37] is stop referring to Hezbollah as [16:39] Hezbollah. [16:41] And every time [16:43] we mention Hezbollah, just say the [16:45] Iranian military known as Hezbollah [16:49] or the Iranian forces known as [16:51] Hezbollah. Instead of reporting that [16:53] Hezbollah shelled Israel, we should say [16:55] the Iranian forces in Lebanon shelled [16:57] Israel. [16:58] We should just call them the Iranian [16:59] forces in Lebanon, cuz that's what they [17:01] are. [17:02] And once you call them that [17:05] then [17:07] you can no longer have this plausible [17:09] deniability where oh, Hezbollah is [17:10] attacking us and and [17:12] then Israel retaliates and then Iran is [17:14] like oh, you shouldn't have attacked [17:16] Lebanon and like it's all like is it you [17:18] know [17:19] sometimes we call it that Israel is [17:20] attacking Lebanon and sometimes we talk [17:22] we talk about it all it's Hezbollah it's [17:24] a separate organization. So I talked [17:26] about the other day that when when [17:28] Hezbollah drones attacked Israel on [17:30] Sunday [17:31] and then Israel attacked the Dahiya and [17:33] then Iran and then you know Iran's and [17:35] then and then Trump said oh you [17:36] shouldn't be attacking we don't want we [17:37] want quiet there. The big question that [17:39] everyone needs to ask is [17:41] why did Iran give the order to Hezbollah [17:43] to fire at Israel that day? Or why did [17:45] they not at least call Hezbollah and say [17:48] stop firing at Israel we we want to sign [17:50] an MOU. The chain of command of [17:52] Hezbollah goes all the way to Tehran. [17:57] Tehran would continue to monitor [17:59] developments closely and would use all [18:01] available tools when whenever necessary [18:03] to ensure that the other parties abide [18:05] by their commitments. [18:07] Asked whether the the memorandum of [18:08] understanding between Iran and the [18:10] United States explicitly called for an [18:12] Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese [18:13] territory or merely an end to the war in [18:15] Lebanon. This is interesting. Bagaei [18:17] said the word Lebanon appeared three [18:19] times in the document. Notice he didn't [18:20] say yes it includes a withdrawal. Now [18:22] Abbas Araqchi the foreign minister has [18:25] been going all over media in the last 24 [18:27] hours saying that an Israeli withdrawal [18:30] from Lebanon is part of the agreement. [18:33] Although the Americans deny it. [18:35] I think we know who to who to believe. [18:38] The understanding referred to ending the [18:39] war on all fronts including Lebanon as [18:42] well as a respect for Lebanon's [18:43] sovereignty and territorial integrity. [18:51] Foreign Minister Araqchi stresses need [18:53] for complete halt to Israeli attacks on [18:55] Lebanon. [18:56] Araqchi issued the call during separate [18:58] phone conversations with Lebanon's [18:59] President Joseph Aoun speaker parliament [19:01] Nabih Berri on Monday night last night [19:04] with the focus of the discussion being [19:05] regional developments and a number of [19:07] issues of mutual interest. [19:11] He emphasized American responsibility [19:15] for the implementation of the clauses [19:17] that call for an end to attacks on all [19:19] fronts. In other words, [19:21] they This is the game they're playing, [19:24] that anything Israel does, they want to [19:26] point the finger at America, which is [19:28] all designed to have America pressure [19:31] Israel, which is a win-win. Either it [19:34] works and Israel is restrained [19:37] or America [19:39] pressures Israel, Israel defies America, [19:42] and then [19:43] we've widened the rift between the US [19:47] and Israel, which is also to the benefit [19:49] of Iran. [19:54] The Islamic Republic retaliated with [19:55] missile and drone attacks. Okay, there [19:56] we go. This This is [19:58] So, here's Araqchi saying that Netanyahu [20:01] declares victory over Iran, rules out [20:03] Lebanon withdrawal. Last night, Prime [20:05] Minister Netanyahu was very clear that [20:07] there will be no withdrawal from [20:09] Lebanon. This was said not only by him, [20:11] by our defense minister, and it must be [20:12] made clear in Is- in Israel right now, [20:16] the criticism of this deal [20:18] is not coming [20:20] um is not coming only from the right. [20:23] It's coming from the left as well. [20:26] I mean, everywhere you look, people are [20:27] being very critical of the deal. [20:30] And uh you know, [20:32] because and for the same reasons, [20:34] meaning whether it's what you'd call [20:35] left-wing or right-wing voices in [20:37] Israel, [20:39] um the [20:42] you know, the reactions have been the [20:43] same, that we need to be going after [20:45] Hezbollah and not taking our foot off [20:47] the gas pedal. You know, let me just add [20:49] this one as well. [20:51] This is um [20:52] this piece from Ynet today, [20:56] um [20:57] which is also about this. Hezbollah [20:59] casts Iran as Lebanon's protector, [21:01] complicating Beirut's sovereignty push. [21:03] I'm just going to jump down to one [21:04] section of this piece. [21:08] Um here. [21:10] Where is it? [21:15] On June 12th, before the current [21:16] announcement of the expected US-Iran [21:17] agreement, Hezbollah's parliamentary [21:19] block praised Iran for its missile [21:21] response to last week's Israeli strikes [21:23] at Dahiya. [21:24] Hezbollah's representatives in [21:25] parliament said the Iranian response [21:27] required Lebanon's political leadership [21:29] to rebuild its relations with Tehran. [21:32] They condemned the direct negotiations [21:34] with Israel. [21:35] Now, the emerging agreement between Iran [21:37] and the United States has created a [21:38] situation in which Iran is the actor [21:40] seen as helping bring Israeli attacks in [21:43] Lebanon to a halt. Iranian and Hezbollah [21:46] officials are expected to keep stressing [21:48] that point and argue that it was not [21:50] Lebanon's official leadership that [21:51] extracted the country from the crisis, [21:53] but Iran. Because look, the people in [21:56] Lebanon just want the bombing to stop. [21:58] So, Hezbollah's game is they bomb. [22:02] There's nothing that the government can [22:04] do about it. Israel's retaliating. [22:06] And they just want it all to stop. And [22:08] then in comes Iran, and Iran gets it to [22:10] stop. [22:11] Iran uses diplomatic pressure through [22:13] the United States. Iran retaliates [22:15] against Israel. [22:16] And then they can paint this picture [22:18] that the Iranians are the They're the [22:20] powerful ones. In this part of the [22:21] world, that's what people respect. And [22:23] they also they can continue to paint the [22:25] picture that they're the ones protecting [22:26] Lebanon. [22:29] Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman [22:31] Esmail Baghaei said Monday that ending [22:32] the war in Lebanon is an inseparable [22:34] part of the comprehensive ceasefire [22:36] agreement. [22:38] Hezbollah, for its part, formally [22:39] congratulated Iran, its leadership, and [22:42] the people on the greater and the people [22:44] and its people on the great achievement [22:45] of reaching an agreement which led to a [22:47] comprehensive ceasefire on all fronts, [22:49] including Lebanon. The terror group said [22:51] it expressed deep gratitude for Iran's [22:53] unwavering support for Lebanon, its [22:55] people, the resistance, and for the [22:57] insistence that Lebanon be present in [22:59] every agreement. [23:02] Okay, so [23:03] what's happening here [23:06] is [23:11] Let's understand what's happening. [23:14] Any goal that we've ever had, any hope [23:16] that we've ever had of dislodging [23:18] Hezbollah, and President Trump talks [23:20] about this as one of his objectives in [23:22] the Middle East is to the disarming of [23:24] Hezbollah, the removing of Hezbollah. [23:27] But [23:28] pressuring Israel to back off of [23:30] Hezbollah [23:32] preserves Hezbollah. [23:34] It preserves the Iranian proxy [23:37] situation. [23:39] One of the objectives stated at the [23:40] beginning of the war on February 28th by [23:42] Trump was the dismantling of the proxy [23:44] network. [23:45] And now [23:47] this if this is all true, if Lebanon if [23:50] if Israel ceasing fire in Lebanon is [23:52] part of this agreement [23:55] then it's literally throwing a lifeline [23:57] to Hezbollah. [23:59] And more importantly, and you know, cuz [24:00] you could say maybe that's just [24:01] temporary, let's get the price of gas [24:03] down, everything's fine. It's not really [24:05] a victory, we've beaten them so hard. [24:07] You have to [24:08] you always have to keep in mind that [24:10] your victory has to be understood as [24:12] victory by your enemy. [24:15] And from the standpoint of Hezbollah, [24:16] from the stan- from the standpoint of [24:18] Iran [24:19] they won. [24:20] They won because they are still [24:22] standing. They were not destroyed. These [24:24] powerful armies, Israel and the US, they [24:26] wanted to destroy us, they wanted to [24:28] wipe us out, and they failed, and [24:30] therefore we have been victorious. [24:32] And don't think that the people don't [24:34] see that, too. [24:35] Uh there's a lot of uh [24:38] you know, there's a lot there's a lot of [24:39] implications of all this. I'm going to [24:40] make some more videos about other [24:42] implications of what we're seeing right [24:43] now. [24:44] Uh although [24:47] we have to say that we don't know really [24:48] what's in the deal. The Americans [24:50] haven't released the text yet. They said [24:51] maybe it's going to come out on Friday. [24:53] Trump said maybe a little after Friday. [24:54] Vance said maybe a little before Friday. [24:57] So we don't really know what's in the [24:58] deal, [24:59] but one way or another Iran is going to [25:01] get some sanctions relief or some [25:03] financial relief by being able to sell [25:05] oil. [25:06] Um and they also get to flex their [25:08] muscles in Lebanon and that's what's [25:09] what this whole video is about. You see [25:10] how uh I I think they're kind of [25:12] panicked about Lebanon. I [25:15] Here's my take. I think that the [25:17] Americans are being honest when they say [25:19] that they are not forcing Israel to [25:20] withdraw from Lebanon. [25:23] And these and Prime Minister Netanyahu [25:25] says, "I'm not going anywhere." And when [25:26] they insist on it, [25:28] they are trying to tighten the screws on [25:31] President Trump. Uh they might be trying [25:33] to make [25:35] you you know, to to deepen the rift [25:38] between Netanyahu and Trump. [25:41] Um but it's it's also a reflection of [25:43] the fact that they are they are doing a [25:45] full court press to make sure that they [25:47] retain [25:48] their power in Lebanon. And this comes [25:51] just a few days after the Lebanese uh [25:53] Lebanese [25:54] uh announced that they're going to start [25:56] expelling IRGC members from the country. [25:59] So, I don't know how this is going to [26:00] work cuz this is an untold story in all [26:03] of this. Of course, the Lebanese [26:04] leadership praises the deal because they [26:06] have to because they're terrified of [26:08] of of the of of Hezbollah and of and of [26:10] Iran. [26:12] But the but the the leadership in [26:14] Lebanon that wants Hezbollah gone [26:16] are being thrown under the bus here. [26:18] Let's make no mistake about it. [26:20] Hezbollah remaining condemns the country [26:22] of Lebanon [26:24] to more of this [26:26] of this occupation [26:28] by [26:29] Hezbollah, by the Iranians that's been [26:31] going on for decades that's destroyed [26:32] their country. [26:34] So, [26:35] it's uh this is a really problematic uh [26:37] situation here. Anyway, I just I just [26:39] wanted to highlight this. I hope that [26:40] you found this video helpful.
