The West sees Hamas and Palestinians in Gaza as 2 distinct groups, ignoring the fact that Hamas is literally made up from civilians from the Palestinian population in Gaza. Many civilians also participated in Oct 7, and most of them still support Hamas. Gaza exists solely to destroy Israel.
