Transcript [00:00] Hey everybody, I'm on the road. I'm in [00:02] Texas today. Uh I'll be [00:05] I'll be traveling around America for the [00:06] next few days and I'm trying to fit in [00:09] getting some videos out to you guys to [00:10] give you some important updates on some [00:12] things that are going on. [00:14] Today's video is going to focus on [00:16] what's happening with the Gaza Strip. I [00:18] know that everyone's still focused as we [00:20] should be. The main event is still Iran, [00:22] but we can't ignore what's taking place [00:25] there. [00:26] And uh where things stand is that this [00:29] board of peace that that was set up in [00:32] the wake of President Trump's 20-point [00:33] plan announced last fall, that this [00:36] board of peace is now having meetings in [00:38] Cairo and Hamas is doing this dance of [00:41] pretending that they are uh that they're [00:44] complying and that they're disarming. [00:46] Uh let's get into those headlines here. [00:48] Okay, here we go. Here's a headline from [00:50] Asharq Al-Awsat. Uh this is uh an Arab [00:53] major Arab media source. Proposal would [00:56] shift 5,000 Hamas employees from [00:59] military to civilian roles. Three [01:02] [snorts] well-informed Palestinian [01:03] sources told Asharq Al-Awsat that [01:05] negotiators in Cairo have proposed [01:08] transferring 5,000 employees of the [01:11] Hamas-run Gaza government from [01:13] military-related positions to civilian [01:16] roles as part of efforts to advance a [01:19] Gaza ceasefire agreement. Okay, so this [01:21] is what they're saying. So they're [01:22] meeting in Cairo. This is a new story [01:24] from yesterday. So this is brand new [01:26] material [01:27] that 5,000 employees of the Hamas-run [01:31] government [01:32] are going to [01:34] be transferred from military-related [01:37] military-related positions to civilian [01:39] roles. Okay, so they're currently in [01:42] military-related positions of Hamas, [01:45] meaning terrorists. [01:47] And they're simply going to transfer [01:49] them. Now, I will remind you that the [01:52] original 20-point [01:54] Trump plan [01:56] says explicitly [01:58] and this is one of the lines in the [01:59] plan. Here, let me move this over to [02:01] where we are. [02:03] Here, right here. This is the 20-point [02:06] Gaza plan. [02:08] And look what it says down here. [02:12] Hamas and other factions agree not to [02:14] have any role in the governance of Gaza [02:17] directly [02:18] indirectly or in any [02:21] form. [02:24] And so, I don't know how that's [02:25] consistent with [02:27] um 5,000 employees of the Hamas-run Gaza [02:31] government who are in military-related [02:32] positions are going to now assume [02:35] civilian roles. [02:36] Anyway, it goes on to say the proposal [02:39] is intended to bridge differences over [02:41] the fifth clause covering covering [02:43] public employees and the eighth clause [02:46] dealing with weapons. Now, what are [02:47] these referring to? This is not the [02:48] fifth and eighth clause of the Trump [02:50] 20-point plan. See, a couple months ago, [02:54] they announced the Board of Peace [02:57] uh announced a 15-point implementation [03:01] plan [03:02] for the for the for the peace plan. [03:05] Okay, and this is this is right here. [03:07] This is this 15 15-point roadmap to [03:09] complete the implementation of President [03:12] Trump's Gaza comprehensive peace plan. [03:14] And this is what they're discussing in [03:15] Cairo right now. And if we go to the [03:17] fifth and eighth clauses, the fifth [03:19] clause states as follows: Separating [03:22] armed factions from governing [03:23] institutions while also protecting [03:26] ordinary civil servants and public [03:27] employees. Gaza cannot recover while [03:30] armed groups simultaneously operate as [03:32] governing authorities. At the same time, [03:34] this point does not seek collective [03:36] punishment or the removal of ordinary [03:38] public workers from civilian life. The [03:40] roadmap explicitly states that civil [03:43] servants are to be treated lawfully, [03:46] fairly, and with dignity. [03:48] What is intended to end is governance [03:50] through armed structures, not the [03:52] livelihoods of public servants. I'll [03:54] also refer us back to the 20-point plan, [03:56] which is what Israel agreed to. [03:59] And the 20-point plan, when it talks [04:00] about the members of Hamas, [04:03] it says, "Hamas members who commit to [04:05] peaceful coexistence." I don't know what [04:08] that even means, but it must mean [04:10] something, even if it's just some [04:11] perfunctory declaration. [04:13] And to decommission their weapons will [04:16] be given amnesty. [04:18] Members of Hamas who wish to leave Gaza [04:20] will be provided safe passage. [04:22] And here we're saying that [04:24] uh we're transferring Hamas military [04:27] personnel [04:28] into civilian roles. [04:32] Um [04:33] and anyway, that's the fifth clause of [04:35] this 15-point plan. And the eighth [04:37] clause, which they also talked about uh [04:39] in that in that piece, [04:42] the proposal is gradual decommissioning [04:45] process. The proposal does not call for [04:47] immediate surrender or unilateral dis- [04:50] armament. [04:51] It outlines a phased Palestinian-led and [04:54] internationally verified process carried [04:56] out gradually and according to an agreed [04:59] timetable. Weapons are not transferred [05:01] to Israel. The proposal explicitly [05:03] states that weapons would transfer to [05:05] Palestinians operating under the [05:07] National Committee for the [05:08] Administration of Gaza while inter- with [05:11] international monitoring arrangements. [05:13] The process is designed to happen [05:14] incrementally, sector by sector, [05:17] alongside reciprocal imple- [05:19] implementation steps, including gradual [05:22] Israeli withdrawal and the expansion of [05:24] reconstruction activity. [05:27] Okay. [05:29] This is what happens whenever Israel [05:31] signs an agreement. [05:33] Israel agrees to certain stipulations. [05:36] Everyone shakes hands. [05:39] And then in the implementation of the [05:41] agreement, in all of the subsequent [05:43] interpretations of the agreement, and [05:46] uh [05:47] additional documents that lead to the [05:50] further implementation [05:52] things change. [05:54] Clauses get changed and it's a picking [05:56] away at at what was agreed upon [06:00] making it seem like it's the same [06:02] agreement but it is not. The 20 [06:05] the 20-point Gaza plan explicitly said [06:09] that Hamas must be completely disarmed [06:11] before Israel withdraws at all. It says [06:14] that quite clearly that Israel will not [06:17] withdraw until [06:20] until until Hamas is disarmed. It says [06:22] it let's find it right here. [06:25] Um [06:27] talks about it a process of [06:29] demilitarization of demilitarization of [06:32] Gaza [06:33] and it's supposed to be not Palestinian [06:35] led but under the supervision of [06:37] independent monitors. [06:40] Um [06:41] and an internationally funded buyback [06:44] program [06:45] verified by independent monitors. [06:49] And then it states down here that the [06:51] IDF will withdraw based on standards [06:53] milestones [06:59] if ISF guarantors in the United States. [07:03] So Israel's withdrawal is is based on [07:06] the disarming of Hamas and here we're [07:08] saying that they're playing games with [07:10] this and saying that no no no no no [07:12] Israel's supposed to withdraw as part of [07:15] the disarmament of Hamas which is not [07:17] what was agreed to and this is not a [07:19] cosmetic difference. This is everything. [07:21] Whether Hamas remains in any kind of [07:23] administrative role in any kind of [07:25] political role [07:27] and and whether or not their weapons are [07:29] removed before Israel withdraws. These [07:30] are the key issues for Israel. [07:33] The sources one from Hamas and one from [07:35] another Palestinian factions and one [07:37] from civil society familiar with the [07:39] Cairo talks said the plan calls for [07:41] transferring 5,000 police personnel. [07:45] That's Hamas police personnel. [07:47] To civilian positions. [07:50] Those who refuse the transfer would be [07:52] placed into retirement. [07:55] So we're talking about taking Hamas [07:57] guys with guns, Hamas police, [08:00] and just moving them into civilian roles [08:03] in the new Gaza government, which is of [08:06] course not Hamas. How does that track [08:08] with Hamas having no governing role both [08:11] either directly or indirectly? [08:13] The source described the transfer of [08:15] 5,000 police officers as a first phase. [08:18] If Israel or the board of peace rejects [08:20] their integration into the civilian [08:22] workforce, yeah, they would be retired [08:25] after undergoing security screening. [08:28] A board of peace official told Asharq [08:30] Al-Awsat that vetting has been completed [08:32] for an initial group of 5,000 recruits. [08:36] That's new recruits for the new [08:37] Palestinian police force, who are to be [08:39] trained as part of a new Palestinian [08:41] police force under the proposed US plan [08:43] for governing Gaza. [08:45] Hmm. So, [08:48] are any of these Palestinian police [08:50] officers from Hamas going to end up in [08:52] the Palestinian police force that is now [08:54] being vetted and and uh and uh and [08:57] planned? [08:59] We'll see. [09:00] At the same time, we have this news item [09:02] from yesterday as well. Turkey reaffirms [09:04] backing for Hamas as foreign minister [09:07] meets with Khalil al-Hayya. [09:09] Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan [09:11] recently met with Hamas's new leader [09:12] Khalil al-Hayya, according to Turkey's [09:14] state-run media. On Thursday, Anadolu [09:16] Agency reported Turkish Foreign Minister [09:18] Hakan Fidan met Wednesday with Khalil [09:21] al-Hayya, the newly elected head of [09:22] Hamas's political bureau and a Hamas [09:25] delegation. This appears to be the first [09:27] high-level meeting that Hayya has had [09:29] since being elected to his new role on [09:31] July 20th. Hayya is apparently based in [09:34] Qatar. [09:35] This echoes other Hamas leaders also [09:37] based in Qatar. Anadolu, which is [09:39] state-run, noted that sources said Fidan [09:41] congratulated Khaya on his appointment [09:43] during the meeting. [09:45] The report added Khaya briefed Fidan on [09:47] the situation in Gaza and occupied West [09:49] Bank, saying that the Israeli government [09:51] led by Prime Minister Netanyahu has has [09:53] intensified what he described as illegal [09:55] settlement activities and attacks on [09:57] holy sites in Jerusalem. [09:59] He claimed that Hamas is attempting to [10:01] pave the way for peace negotiations. [10:02] Now, by the way, when they say attacks [10:04] on holy sites in Jerusalem, [10:06] what do you think they mean? There's no [10:08] Israeli attacks on any holy sites in [10:11] Jerusalem. [10:12] What they mean is Jews visiting the [10:15] Temple Mount. That's right. According to [10:17] the United Nations, [10:19] um [10:20] according to the United Nations office, [10:22] uh it's the OCHA office that that tracks [10:26] activity in Judea Samaria in the what [10:29] they call the occupied territories, [10:31] which for them includes [10:33] includes, um [10:35] East Jerusalem. [10:37] They list as [10:39] as settle as settler terrorism, as [10:42] settler violence. [10:44] They list every visit by Jews to the [10:47] Temple Mount. [10:48] Okay? So, the only when when they talk [10:51] about Israel, [10:52] um [10:53] Israel attacking [10:55] holy sites in Jerusalem, they mean Jews [10:58] visiting the Temple Mount. He claimed [10:59] that Hamas is attempting to is [11:01] attempting to pave the way for peace [11:02] negotiations. Of course, Hamas Hamas is [11:05] supposed to relinquish its governing [11:06] authority in Gaza to the US back board [11:09] of peace. Khaya said that Hamas is also [11:11] working on reconciliation with other [11:12] Palestinian groups, apparently in [11:15] reference to Fatah, which runs the [11:16] Palestinian Authority. Interesting. So, [11:18] Hamas is going to surrender all of its [11:20] governing authority, but it's also going [11:22] to reconcile with the more with the [11:26] Palestinian Authority. [11:28] Okay. Fidan reiterated Turkey's strong [11:31] support for what he called the just [11:33] cause of the Palestinians in every field [11:36] and on every international platform. [11:38] Turkey's top diplomat said Ankara would [11:40] continue making every effort to increase [11:43] the delivery of humanitarian aid to [11:44] Gaza. [11:46] He also said that Turkey will continue [11:47] supporting the Gaza peace process and [11:49] expressed appreciation for the role [11:50] Hamas has played in those efforts. [11:55] Okay. So, [11:57] color me skeptical if Hamas is actually [12:00] not going to be playing any role either [12:02] directly or indirectly if the head of [12:03] Hamas is having meetings with a Turkish [12:05] foreign minister who's one of the [12:06] mediators. [12:08] And then we have this uh this is also [12:09] from yesterday. Me- This is another [12:11] coverage of this same uh negotiation, [12:13] but it adds in a few interesting [12:15] details. Mediators talk to Hamas about [12:17] second phase as Israel strikes Gaza. [12:20] Israeli strikes killed at least three [12:21] people including two children in the [12:22] Gaza Strip on Thursday. [12:25] Uh health officials health officials [12:27] said while mediators held new talks this [12:30] uh this is from uh [12:31] this is from today. [12:33] While mediators held new talks with [12:35] Hamas leaders to work towards full [12:37] implementation of a US-brokered Gaza [12:40] peace plan. In Cairo, Hamas leaders held [12:42] talks with mediators from Egypt, Qatar, [12:44] and Turkey. Okay, let's just pause right [12:46] there. [12:48] The mediators [12:50] between Israel and Hamas [12:52] are Turkey that is totally hostile to [12:54] Israel, Qatar that is totally hostile to [12:57] Israel, and Egypt that is gets a lot of [13:00] money from the United States and has a [13:02] peace treaty with Israel, but is [13:03] basically totally hostile to Israel. [13:07] So, they had talks. So, Hamas that's who [13:09] Hamas is talking to. [13:11] Those are the mediators over the [13:12] implementation of the second phase of [13:14] President Donald Trump's Gaza plan as [13:15] presented to them by the Board of Peace [13:17] that oversees the implementation. On [13:19] Thursday, that's today, a Hamas official [13:21] said the group was coming with a [13:23] positive and good response. Yet, he [13:25] didn't say whether the group has agreed [13:27] to fully disarm. [13:29] A key sticking point in the talks over [13:30] the past 4 months. A key sticking point, [13:33] it is what the whole thing is about. [13:36] Let's remember, what this whole thing is [13:38] about is removing Hamas from Gaza so [13:40] that the Gaza Strip can move on to a [13:43] different future. A different future [13:46] which is not run by Hamas, not educated [13:48] by Hamas. That is the whole goal. From [13:51] Israel's perspective, that's all that [13:52] matters. [13:54] Is that Hamas is completely removed [13:56] and that we can again reconstruct Gaza [14:00] on a different basis. [14:03] So, sources close to Hamas saying that [14:05] the group is willing to [14:07] um [14:08] I'm sorry. Um [14:10] They that they didn't say whether the [14:12] group has agreed to fully disarm [14:14] is of course a key sticking point. Hamas [14:16] wants Israel to commit to ending attacks [14:17] on Gaza and withdrawing and withdrawing [14:19] its forces. Israel will not commit to [14:21] that. Israel is going to remove Hamas. [14:23] Look, [14:25] this whole deal, this whole 20-point [14:27] plan which was supposed to be [14:28] implemented very quickly. It had certain [14:30] timelines attached to it for the [14:32] withdrawal. [14:33] None of that has been adhered to and [14:35] Israel said at the at the outset, "Look, [14:36] we're willing to try this, but we are [14:38] not going to [14:40] compromise on our objective of removing [14:43] Hamas from the Gaza Strip. Hamas is [14:44] committed to our destruction." Sources [14:46] close to Hamas said the group was [14:48] willing to confine and store [14:51] heavy weapons, heavy weapons. [14:54] I don't know what a heavy weapon is [14:55] under a Palestinian body. [14:57] Not handed over to Israel. Hamas didn't [15:00] comment on that. So, sources close to [15:02] Hamas say basically that Hamas is [15:04] willing to give their weapons to other [15:05] people who they're friends with. It is [15:07] also not yet clear what would be the [15:09] fate of light or personal weapons or [15:11] whether the new Hamas stands would be [15:12] accepted by Israel and the board of [15:15] peace. This brings us back to this [15:16] eighth point here. [15:18] Gradual decommission gradual [15:20] decommissioning process. [15:22] The The proposal does not call for [15:24] immediate surrender or unilateral [15:26] disarmament. [15:27] It's talking about a phased [15:29] process. Weapons are not transferred to [15:32] Israel. The proposal explicitly states [15:34] that weapons would transfer to [15:35] Palestinians operating under the [15:37] National Council for the administration [15:39] of Gaza [15:40] with international monitoring [15:42] arrangements. [15:43] The process is designed to happen [15:45] incrementally. [15:48] So, this this this clause here in this [15:51] 15-point implementation plan of the [15:53] 20-point plan actually contradicts the [15:55] 20-point plan. [15:57] See what's happening here? It [15:58] contradicts it. It doesn't really demand [16:02] Hamas um [16:03] It doesn't really demand Hamas disarming [16:06] as a precondition for moving forward. [16:09] That is the problem. [16:13] And now we have the Jerusalem Post [16:14] reporting on this. Wait, did we Was [16:16] there more for me to say? Oh, yeah, [16:17] there's another piece here we I want to [16:18] share with you. [16:21] Israel wants Hamas to cede power [16:23] completely in Gaza and to fully disarm. [16:26] Yeah. Hamas dissolved a de facto [16:28] government last month. Remember they [16:30] made that announcement that they were [16:31] dissolving the government, but they kept [16:33] a caretaking body to maintain the [16:34] provision of vital services to [16:36] residents. In other words, they kept [16:37] doing the same thing, but they said that [16:39] they're no longer in charge. This is an [16:41] Arab news outlet, so they're reporting [16:42] it this way. And when it says Israel [16:44] wants Hamas to cede power completely and [16:46] for Gaza in Gaza and to fully disarm, [16:49] that's it's not just Israel wants that. [16:51] It's what was agreed to. [16:54] Okay? And all of this other stuff that's [16:57] being talked about and negotiated is all [16:59] trying to change the terms that were [17:00] agreed to. That's really Look, this [17:02] whole video could have been two [17:03] sentences long. Israel makes agreements, [17:07] and then in the implementation, [17:09] all that the other side tries to do is [17:10] roll them back and change them. [17:13] The Israeli military on Wednesday said [17:15] it had struck a mosque in the Gaza [17:16] Strip, which it said had been used by [17:18] Hamas as a weapon storage facility. Over [17:20] the past week, the Israeli military [17:22] struck and dismantled several Hamas [17:23] weapon storage facilities in the central [17:25] and northern Gaza Strip. [17:28] One of the storage facilities had been [17:29] established inside a mosque in the [17:31] northern Gaza Strip. [17:33] It said saying advanced warnings were [17:35] given to civilians. [17:37] Amir Abu al-Amrain, the director general [17:39] of the Ministry of al-Qaf [17:41] and religious affairs in the Gaza Strip [17:43] said the Israeli authorities had [17:45] completely destroyed the mosque in the [17:46] air strike. The occupation sites fall [17:48] pre- false pretext such as the alleged [17:50] presence of military sites to justify [17:52] these crimes, he said, calling for an [17:54] urgent intervention to protect to [17:56] protect mosques and places of worship. [17:59] Yes, the mosque was used as a weapons [18:00] depot, but now he Now listen to Israel's [18:03] description. Meaning in his This isn't [18:05] Israel's description. It's to the [18:06] Jerusalem Post. It's an Israeli outlet [18:08] describing the same negotiations going [18:10] on in Cairo. And we can already see the [18:12] the differences. Discussions with [18:14] mediators in Cairo are continuing and [18:16] making progress according to a [18:17] diplomatic source spoken to to the [18:19] Jerusalem Post on Thursday, today, as [18:21] negotiators work to finalize a [18:23] comprehensive roadmap for Gaza's future [18:25] governance and security arrangements. [18:27] According to the source, the roadmap is [18:29] designed as a balanced and pragmatic [18:31] framework centered on the complete [18:34] decommissioning of all weapons [18:39] and phased transition of [18:40] responsibilities to a technocratic [18:42] government. Quote, there will be no [18:44] exceptions for certain weapons or [18:45] certain people. The source said, one [18:48] authority, one law, one weapon. The [18:50] source said the proposed framework [18:51] establishes a process for eliminating [18:53] all tunnels, weapons depots, and weapons [18:56] production facilities throughout the [18:57] Gaza Strip, describing it as a [18:59] comprehensive effort rather than a [19:01] limited security arrangement. [19:03] At the conclusion of the of the [19:04] implementation process, the source said, [19:07] there would be no remaining terrorist [19:08] infrastructure in Gaza. Hamas would have [19:10] no governing or military role. No [19:13] governing or military role. [19:15] Except that Khalil al-Hayya is meeting [19:17] with the foreign minister of Turkey and [19:18] they're having a diplomatic meeting and [19:20] they're and they're making plans. [19:22] Hamas would have no governing or [19:24] military role either publicly or behind [19:26] the scenes. [19:29] In a model similar to that being applied [19:31] to Hezbollah in Lebanon, hopefully. [19:33] Under the proposal, all weapons, both [19:35] heavy and light, would come under the [19:37] full control of the national committee [19:39] for the administration of Gaza in [19:41] coordination with and supported by the [19:43] ISF. [19:44] Which the source said is led by a [19:46] two-star US special forces general. The [19:49] agreement also stipulates that there [19:50] will be no Israeli withdrawal from the [19:52] original yellow line unless full [19:54] disarmament is implemented. Are we [19:56] talking completely different languages [19:58] here? [20:00] I just read you a report of the same [20:02] negotiations [20:03] from Asharq al-Awsat that said that [20:06] Hamas would only agree to with to disarm [20:08] incrementally [20:10] uh alongside Israeli withdrawals. [20:14] The diplomatic source emphasized that [20:17] the road map is based on reciprocal [20:18] implementation rather than trust between [20:20] the parties. [20:24] There we go. [20:27] Um [20:28] and then back to an Arab site, The New [20:31] Arab, Ball in Israel's court as [20:32] Palestinian groups [20:34] a- a- agreement narrows Gaza ceasefire [20:37] gaps. Really? [20:39] So, just a couple a couple paragraphs [20:41] from this one. The eighth clause, that's [20:43] the eighth clause of the 15-point plan, [20:44] the one that this one about [20:45] decommissioning weapons. [20:47] The eighth clause deals with heavy [20:49] weapons. Under the revised proposal, [20:51] discussions over heavy weapons, tunnels, [20:54] and military production sites would [20:56] begin only after Israel fulfills its [20:59] obligations under the Sharm el-Sheikh [21:01] agreement. [21:03] The national committee enters Gaza [21:05] and an international stabilization force [21:07] is deployed. [21:08] Okay. [21:11] Let's go back to the 20-point plan. [21:14] In the 20-point plan, [21:16] it states that Hamas will disarm. That's [21:19] all the way near the beginning of the [21:20] plan. All the way near the beginning of [21:22] it, it states [21:23] that um [21:26] once all the hostages are returned, that [21:28] happened months and months ago, Hamas [21:29] members who commit to peaceful [21:31] coexistence and to decommission their [21:33] weapons will be given amnesty. [21:35] Right? They're supposed to disarm right [21:37] away. [21:39] And the international stabilization [21:41] force [21:43] comes all the way down here. And oh, [21:45] wait, here it says that Hamas agrees not [21:47] to have any role, and all the military [21:50] infrastructure, the tunnels, everything [21:51] is all going to be destroyed. There's [21:53] going to be a process of decommissioning [21:55] all the weapons by an international [21:57] body. [21:58] And then later on, it talks about [22:00] bringing in the international [22:02] stabilization force to deploy in Gaza. [22:05] Okay? [22:06] That's the process here. And only after [22:09] that, [22:10] down here, [22:12] the IDF will progressively hand over [22:15] Gaza territory it occupies to the [22:17] international stabilization force [22:20] gradually as the international [22:22] stabilization force assumes control. And [22:24] what do we read here? [22:27] Under the revised proposal, discussions [22:29] over heavy weapons, tunnels, and [22:30] military production sites would begin [22:32] only after [22:35] only after Israel fulfills its [22:38] obligations, meaning that they start [22:39] withdrawing, [22:40] and the international stabilization [22:42] force is deployed. They want the [22:43] international stabilization force to be [22:45] deployed [22:47] prior to any discussions over their [22:50] weapons, their tunnels, their military [22:52] production. [22:53] According to the source, [22:55] revisions concerning government [22:57] employees strengthen legal guarantees [22:59] protecting their rights, while [23:00] amendments to the weapons clause linked [23:02] implementation directly to the timetable [23:05] for Israel's withdrawal and introduced [23:07] agreed mechanisms for addressing armed [23:10] groups collaborating with Israel. Now, [23:11] what does that mean? [23:13] These Palestinian groups met to talk [23:14] about what to do about collaborators, [23:16] about armed groups that are working [23:19] against Hamas. [23:22] This is not the deal that Israel ever [23:24] agreed to. And you know, let's go back [23:26] to this 15 points here again. [23:28] You know, [snorts] it talks about the [23:29] international stabilization force in [23:30] here. [23:31] Look what it says about it. [23:34] Under the road map, that's this [23:35] document, the 15 points, the ISF would [23:38] deploy between Israeli and Palestinian [23:41] controlled areas. [23:43] Between Israeli and Palestinian [23:45] controlled areas, protect humanitarian [23:47] operations and support the [23:49] decommissioning process. They're [23:51] envisioning that the international [23:52] stabilization force is not a security [23:54] force that comes in after Hamas is [23:56] disarmed to stabilize the Gaza Strip and [23:58] work with the IDF. No. [24:01] The international stabilization force [24:02] comes in before Hamas is disarmed and it [24:05] deploys between [24:07] Israel, [24:09] between the IDF [24:11] and the Palestinian controlled areas. [24:14] Meaning, they see the international [24:16] stabilization force as a peacekeeping [24:18] force. [24:20] Quote unquote peacekeeping force like [24:21] UNIFIL that goes between the Israelis [24:24] and the Palestinians, [24:27] essentially making it far more difficult [24:29] for Israel to do what it needs to do to [24:32] fight terrorism. [24:34] This is not what Israel agreed to. [24:38] And uh let's wrap this up with this. [24:40] Cabinet gives initial approval for [24:42] international force in Gaza with some [24:43] 200 troops. This is the Israeli version [24:46] of what we've currently agreed to. The [24:48] Israeli security cabinet on Sunday, this [24:50] past Sunday, agreed to approve the [24:51] limited entry of the international [24:53] stabilization force under the board of [24:54] peace [24:55] under the board of peace led plan for [24:57] Gaza, which would include 200 troops [24:59] from friendly countries, Israeli [25:01] officials told the Times of Israel. [25:03] ISF troops would first deploy along the [25:07] borders of a pilot humanitarian zone in [25:09] Gaza being planned by the Board of Peace [25:12] in the area of the flattened city of [25:14] Rafa. Now, what is this talking about? [25:16] So, in in the Gaza Strip, there's the [25:18] area that's on the Israeli side of the [25:20] yellow line that is in full control of [25:22] the IDF. [25:24] In that area, Israel is planning with [25:27] the board I mean, the Board of Peace is [25:28] planning, but in cooperation with Israel [25:30] to deploy a pilot humanitarian zone that [25:32] is outside the governance of of Hamas [25:35] completely, totally under IDF control, [25:38] but with this Board of Peace working [25:40] with the IDF controlling the area, and [25:42] they would move Gazans into that area. [25:47] They would move Gazans into that area, a [25:49] humanitarian They would no longer be [25:51] under the thumb of Hamas. They'd no [25:52] longer be under their authority. [25:54] Everyone would be vetted as they cross [25:55] over, and the ISF would start to operate [25:59] there as a security force. Israel [26:01] maintains [26:02] that the IDF will continue to hold the [26:04] yellow line, and there will be no [26:06] further withdrawal whatsoever until [26:09] Hamas has been completely disarmed, and [26:11] the Gaza Strip has been fully [26:12] demilitarized. The cabinet also decided [26:15] that Israel would determine which [26:16] countries are permitted to contribute [26:18] personnel to the force. The official [26:20] continued saying, "Only countries with [26:22] with which Israel has a peace agreement [26:24] which are not acting against the state [26:26] of Israel or its officials in [26:27] international forums will be eligible." [26:29] I think this is a very reasonable [26:30] demand. Israel's saying, "Look, we want [26:32] to have a peaceful relationship with the [26:34] Gaza Strip. We want to disarm Hamas. We [26:37] want to remove it from being a threat to [26:39] Israel ever again. And yes, of course, [26:41] we want to have an international [26:42] stabilization force. We agree to that. [26:44] Have them come in and provide security. [26:46] We don't want to be doing that. We don't [26:47] want to be the police force there. [26:49] But, [26:50] we also don't want enemy forces on [26:54] in in Gaza. So, we're only going to [26:56] allow in [26:58] forces that are from countries that we [27:01] have peace deals with. We have peace [27:02] deals with a whole bunch of Arab [27:03] countries. [27:05] Okay, [27:06] so it says here that this condition is [27:08] First it says that it would it would [27:09] preclude Indonesia who had originally [27:11] agreed cuz they don't have a peace deal [27:13] with Israel. It would also apparently [27:14] rule out troops from Turkey [27:16] which has been among the harshest [27:18] critics of Israel's war against Hamas [27:20] launched after the October 7th massacre [27:22] and which has hosted Hamas leaders. At [27:24] this stage the forces expected to [27:26] consist of approximately 200 personnel [27:28] from friendly countries such as Uganda [27:30] and Morocco, the official said. [27:32] While three other countries, Albania, [27:34] Kazakhstan, and Kosovo have also agreed [27:36] to contribute troops to the ISF, Morocco [27:39] is slated to be the first of them to [27:41] actually deploy deploy troops in Gaza, [27:43] officials familiar with the Board of [27:45] Peace's plans told the Times of Israel. [27:47] The Board of Peace has been promoting [27:48] the plan for several months. It [27:50] envisions Now, here it explains more [27:51] about this pilot zone. It envisions the [27:54] establishment of a pilot humanitarian [27:56] zone in the Rafa area of southern Gaza [27:58] from which Israeli troops would withdraw [28:00] and be replaced by personnel from the [28:02] ISF. The arrangement would allow an [28:04] initial group of vetted Gazans to [28:06] relocate from Hamas controlled [28:08] territory. Hamas has so far refused to [28:10] disarm and envisioned under US President [28:13] as envisioned under US President Donald [28:15] Trump's 20-point uh plan for Gaza and [28:18] the board has been struggling to get [28:19] Israeli approval on certain key [28:21] components of the plan. Of course, [28:22] you've been struggling cuz Hamas is not [28:24] disarmed. I welcome steps by Israel that [28:27] enable the deployment of the ISF, [28:30] said Board of Peace High Representative [28:31] Nickolay Mladenov. It's critical It is a [28:34] critical part of the agreed framework [28:36] for the stabiliza- the stabilizing of [28:38] Gaza, supporting demilitarization, and [28:40] enabling the transition to effective [28:42] Palestinian trans- transitional [28:44] administration. [28:45] The focus is now on ensuring that we [28:47] move forward with the 20-point plan for [28:49] Gaza, including the implementation of [28:51] the road map as presented by the [28:52] mediators. [28:54] And that road map, as I showed you, has [28:55] some significant discrepancies [28:57] between it and the original 20-point [28:59] plan. Look, bottom line is this, Israel [29:02] is going to hold firm. [29:04] Israel is not going anywhere until Hamas [29:06] is completely disarmed, completely [29:07] removed, and has no role to play. [29:10] The only the the entire concept behind [29:13] the Trump 20-point plan, if we go back [29:14] to those glory days when it was [29:16] announced as this great peace deal that [29:17] was coming to coming to the Middle East, [29:20] is that we are going to move forward [29:22] with a with a Gaza strip that is no [29:24] longer governed by those who want to [29:26] destroy Israel. The Middle East today is [29:29] in a is in a struggle between the [29:31] moderates, the legitimate moderates who [29:33] want to have peace with Israel, peace [29:35] with the West, and prosperity, and want [29:37] to reject this Muslim Brotherhood [29:41] and Jihadist ideology. The United Arab [29:44] Emirates, [29:45] Saudi Arabia kind of wavers in that. Uh [29:48] Bahrain is certainly on board. Morocco [29:50] is on board. Other Muslim countries like [29:52] Somaliland are on board. There many [29:54] there there many moderate Arab countries [29:56] that are on board. There are some that [29:57] are privately moderate that are afraid [29:59] to say anything publicly. And then you [30:01] have the Jihadists, the ones who are [30:03] committed to the Muslim Brotherhood [30:04] ideology, who want to destroy the state [30:06] of Israel. Chief Chief among them these [30:08] days is Turkey, [30:10] Qatar. These are countries that are [30:13] hostile to Israel in every way. [30:15] And um Israel is simply not going to [30:18] allow [30:19] these forces to take control of the [30:21] governance there. And the only way to [30:22] get past this, the only way to start [30:24] reeducation of the population so that [30:26] there can be peace. [30:27] Um the only way to move forward to a [30:30] brighter future is to remove every one [30:32] of this ilk from positions of power. [30:35] And and that's why the 20-point plan [30:38] that Israel agreed to said that Hamas [30:40] can have no governing role in Gaza [30:41] directly or indirectly. And that's why I [30:44] think this pilot idea of setting up [30:46] housing in an area totally controlled by [30:48] the IDF in Gaza, moving population into [30:51] it, [30:53] where it can be governed by the board of [30:55] peace, [30:57] overseen by the Americans, [30:59] and there we could start a different [31:00] type of education. Hamas is is not [31:03] involved there. I think that Israel, [31:04] this is my own feeling, but I'm not an [31:06] expert in the security issues. [31:08] My own feeling is that Israel should [31:09] have made arrangements early on. [31:11] Once they started taking areas of Gaza [31:13] and cleaning them out, of moving [31:15] population into those areas, providing [31:18] humanitarian aid for them there, [31:19] providing housing for them there, [31:21] where they're where they have nothing to [31:23] do with Hamas and Hamas is not Hamas is [31:25] not in control at all. The civilian [31:27] population is the greatest asset Hamas [31:30] has. [31:31] Removing the civilian population from [31:33] from the control of Hamas is the only [31:35] way forward. Look, [31:37] you know, um [31:39] in the big picture, [31:42] we really have to think about, you know, [31:44] the real tragedy of all this is that [31:47] if the Arabs who live in the Gaza Strip [31:50] would simply all say tomorrow, [31:53] "Hey, we don't want to kill Jews [31:55] anymore. We don't want to destroy Israel [31:57] anymore. We just want to live a normal [31:59] life. [32:00] And we're not fighting anymore." [32:02] You know what would happen? Is they [32:04] would become the most [32:07] the most secure and prosperous and free [32:10] Arabs in the entire Middle East. [32:12] Think about Israeli innovation, Israeli [32:14] companies, and what they could do with a [32:17] labor force that's willing peacefully to [32:19] work. [32:21] And they would be they would be part of [32:24] the thriving, more than thriving, the [32:28] the [32:29] very prosperous Israeli economy. They [32:31] could benefit from that. [32:34] They would be they would have the better [32:35] would have a better standard of living [32:37] than almost everyone in the Arab world [32:39] if they just chose that. [32:42] And instead, they've been radicalized by [32:45] decades and decades of Muslim [32:47] Brotherhood genocidal ideology, Hamas [32:49] education system [32:51] uh paid for by the United Nations. [32:54] And and they just can't get out of their [32:56] own way. [32:58] So, it's it's a very tragic situation. [32:59] The big You know, look, the biggest [33:01] losers in all of this are not Israel. [33:03] The biggest loser in all of this is the [33:04] is the is the people in Gaza themselves. [33:08] And uh it we just we just have to pray [33:10] that Israel holds firm and doesn't budge [33:12] on on our uh on our needs. [33:15] Look, a last thing here before we go. I [33:17] want to tell you about a about an event [33:18] that's taking place [33:20] um in New York. [33:22] Uh I'm going to be speaking on this [33:23] coming Sunday, just a couple days from [33:24] now, in New York. The most dangerous man [33:27] in America. I'm going to be speaking [33:28] about Zohran Mamdani and what that and [33:30] what and what his combination of of [33:33] socialism and Islamism really means uh [33:35] as as the mayor of New York. We know the end is good and we [34:52] know that God is in control [34:54] and may God bless you.
