Transcript [00:00] Hamas has agreed to surrender [00:02] >> [music] [00:02] >> its weapons. After nearly 3 years of [00:06] fighting in Gaza, Trump's Board of Peace [00:08] recently announced that they have [00:10] reached an agreement for the complete [00:13] disarmament of Hamas in [music] Gaza. [00:16] However, Hamas's spokesperson in Qatar [00:19] made some very telling remarks in an [00:21] interview with Piers Morgan this last [00:23] week that explains the reasoning behind [00:25] Hamas's decision. And also, Iran weighs [00:29] in with a surprising statement of their [00:31] own to Hamas. This is all very [00:34] interesting and very strange, to say the [00:37] least. [00:39] The International Board of Peace hasn't [00:41] been in the news a whole lot since its [00:43] founding, but that doesn't mean they [00:45] haven't been getting things done. The [00:47] invitation-only group, founded by Trump [00:50] back in 2025-2026, [00:52] has tasked itself with the overseeing of [00:55] the reconstruction of Gaza. The first [00:58] step in that process is removing the [01:00] threat that is an armed Hamas, and to [01:02] that end, they've made some monumental [01:05] progress. As I said at the beginning, [01:07] Trump announced that Hamas is in fact [01:10] ready to disarm. Apparently, an [01:12] agreement was originally announced where [01:14] Hamas will hand over their light [01:16] weapons, their heavy weapons, their [01:19] tunnels, etc. in exchange for a full [01:22] withdrawal of the IDF from the Gaza [01:25] Strip. But Israel was quick to reiterate [01:28] that their withdrawal will only happen [01:30] after Hamas is disarmed, not before. The [01:33] Board of Peace made a hasty correction [01:35] to their statement, removing the word [01:37] full from the withdrawal statement, [01:39] meaning Israel has agreed to at least a [01:41] partial withdrawal, then Hamas will [01:44] disarm, then Israel will complete the [01:46] withdrawal. The Board of Peace went on [01:48] to say that Hamas will have no governing [01:51] role in Gaza, neither openly nor behind [01:55] the scenes. But Hamas's spokesperson, [01:57] Ghazi Hamad, went on TV to explain their [02:00] point of view. Hamad is an active member [02:03] of Hamas and has been sanctioned by the [02:05] US since 2024, and he is currently [02:08] living in Qatar. He said in an interview [02:11] with Piers Morgan this last Monday, [02:13] "Quote, resisting the occupation is its [02:15] holy mission." But, then he went on to [02:18] admit, "Quote, this is an exceptional [02:20] phase in Palestinian history because of [02:23] forced necessity, the harsh [02:24] circumstances in Gaza, we accept this [02:27] agreement. But, I think that as Hamas, I [02:30] can confirm that we didn't change our [02:31] mentality. Our goal is to end the [02:34] occupation, to continue to end the [02:36] occupation with the Palestinian factions [02:38] because this is our holy mission." So, [02:42] despite the blustering and the hardline [02:43] rhetoric, according to Hamas's own [02:46] spokesperson, they in fact have agreed [02:49] to the terms of this deal with Israel [02:51] because of forced necessity. Incredible [02:54] words to hear. Basically, the world has [02:57] been giving Israel a lot of grief for [02:58] their unwavering push to continue to [03:01] destroy Hamas, saying it will never work [03:03] in the long run. But, right here, Hamas [03:06] is agreeing to completely disarm and [03:08] openly admitting they are doing [03:10] [snorts and clears throat] so because [03:11] they have been forced to do so by [03:14] Israel. This is a stunning admission. He [03:16] did go on to say that their mentality is [03:18] the same. They still believe in their [03:20] goal, obviously. But, again, he fully [03:22] admitted Hamas has been forced into a [03:25] corner, and they have nowhere to run. [03:28] And Israel isn't letting up on the [03:30] pressure. Israel has been continuing [03:32] pinpoint strikes in Gaza to eliminate [03:34] Hamas terrorists who took part in [03:36] October 7th. Not only is this continued [03:38] pressure on Hamas, but it is also a [03:41] fulfillment of the IDF's vow to destroy [03:44] all the terrorists who butchered [03:45] Israelis on October 7th. And [03:48] interestingly enough, Qatar, Egypt, and [03:50] Turkey all just publicly denounced these [03:53] strikes. The Turkish foreign minister [03:55] just said in a statement that the latest [03:57] attacks demonstrated that the Israeli [03:59] government was continuing policies that [04:02] undermine efforts to reach a peaceful [04:04] end to the conflict. Here's Turkey again [04:08] showing their true colors. There's a [04:10] report just today that Hamas is [04:12] transferring some of its organizational [04:14] activities to Turkey from Qatar as Qatar [04:17] has been making Hamas operations in [04:18] their country a little more difficult in [04:20] recent days. But that's a discussion for [04:23] another video. In a second, we'll get [04:25] into more of what's happening with this [04:27] board of peace [04:28] along with a strange phone call from [04:31] Iran to Hamas. But first, if you've been [04:34] watching our channel for a while, you've [04:36] probably seen our Temple Mount patch. [04:39] We've turned that same design into a [04:42] premium lapel pin. One of the things we [04:45] love about this pin is what it stands [04:46] for. A lot of people are wearing it [04:48] right now as a way to stand in [04:50] solidarity with Israel and with the IDF [04:53] during these crazy times and to show [04:55] they share the same hope the nation of [04:58] Israel is holding on to. This is a pin [05:00] you can put on your jacket, your hat, or [05:02] wherever you want. This product was [05:03] developed by our team and all proceeds [05:06] go straight to our volunteer work [05:08] helping farms and communities on the [05:10] ground in Israel. Nickolay Mladenov, [05:21] if I pronounce that right, who is the [05:23] head of the board and so-called high [05:25] representative for Gaza, just met with [05:28] Israel's prime minister. In the meeting, [05:30] Nickolay requested that the IDF end all [05:33] strikes against Hamas for 14 days as a [05:36] gesture of goodwill to kickstart the [05:38] process of disarming Hamas. It's unclear [05:42] if Bibi agreed to this request, but the [05:44] board of peace wrote a statement after [05:46] the meeting that it had been [05:47] constructive and detailed and that both [05:50] parties shared the common understanding [05:52] of the ultimate objective in Gaza. They [05:54] also added that the IDF would only [05:56] withdraw from Gaza after all weapons, [05:59] tunnels, and military infrastructure had [06:01] been decommissioned, which is good, [06:03] positive. According to some estimates, [06:06] Hamas still has around 25,000 fighters [06:08] active in Gaza. [06:10] Although many of these fighters have [06:11] been recruited in more recent months and [06:14] aren't nearly as well trained or [06:15] equipped as their original force. And [06:18] this 25,000 number is just kind of a [06:20] number. [06:21] Hamas is full reign of Gaza currently [06:24] and controls the food supply. And we [06:26] know that they aren't able to openly [06:27] train at the moment with full Israeli [06:29] control of the skies. So, more than [06:31] likely this is Hamas adding a name to a [06:34] list in exchange for more food or other [06:36] benefits to increase a technical number, [06:39] if that makes sense. [06:41] Of that 25,000 though, only about 2,500 [06:44] belong to Hamas's elite Nukhba unit, [06:46] which is about half of its original [06:48] strength before the war. My guess is [06:51] that even though Hamas has been forced [06:54] to come to the table and theoretically [06:55] disarm the bulk of their forces in order [06:57] to have Israel withdraw from the strip, [07:00] their plan is probably to bulk up their [07:03] elite forces and then take those elite [07:05] forces underground. In their [07:07] perspective, maybe the bulk of those [07:09] 25,000 terrorists would disarm, then [07:12] Israel would leave the strip, and then [07:14] their elite units can live underground [07:16] and continue to rebuild their forces [07:18] until Hamas is ready to attack another [07:21] day. Even though the IDF intends to [07:23] destroy all of Hamas's tunnels in Gaza [07:25] before leaving, there's nothing that [07:27] will stop Hamas from digging the tunnels [07:28] again or hiding specific ones for future [07:31] activity. [07:33] There is a report today that Iran's [07:35] president held a phone call with Hamas [07:38] leaders and told them that Iran would [07:40] support any initiative or decision taken [07:43] by Hamas leaders in the these [07:45] negotiations with Israel and the board [07:48] of peace. This is a really interesting [07:51] development as Iran had pretty much cut [07:53] off all contact with Hamas over the [07:55] course of this last year. [07:57] And it seems really strange that they [07:58] would be supportive of a deal being made [08:01] with Israel. It's possible that they [08:04] also believe, like Hamas' spokesperson [08:06] said on TV, that Hamas is on the brink [08:08] of being destroyed and are hoping that [08:11] they can make a deal now remnants will [08:13] live to fight another day. Or it's [08:16] possible they have another agenda at [08:17] play behind the scenes, something that [08:19] will come to light at some point in the [08:22] future. Inside of Israel, the [08:23] organization Tikva LeOmit, which [08:25] represents families bereaved by the war [08:28] and families of hostages, made a [08:30] statement saying Israel must facilitate [08:32] the voluntary immigration of Gaza [08:34] residents who wish to leave before [08:37] allowing an international force to enter [08:39] Gaza. The organization said that this, [08:41] along with complete demilitarization of [08:43] the strip and Israel maintaining full [08:46] security freedom of action in the strip [08:48] were critical non-negotiable conditions [08:51] for an agreement with the board of [08:53] peace. The argument here is that giving [08:55] Gazans who want to leave Gaza the [08:57] ability to do so could continue to [08:59] weaken Hamas making the odds of a [09:01] security confrontation between Israel [09:03] and Gaza in the future that much less. [09:06] And while statements from groups like [09:08] this aren't exactly coming from leaders [09:10] in Israeli politics, Israel is very [09:12] quickly headed into elections in October [09:15] meaning large groups like this actually [09:16] have a lot of influence in Israeli [09:18] politics at the current moment. So, [09:21] we'll see what Bibi does with this in [09:22] the coming days and weeks. If you want [09:25] to show your support for Israel by [09:27] wearing a Temple Mount pin, you can grab [09:29] one from the link in the description [09:30] below or by scanning the QR code on [09:32] screen.
