Spread truth. Spread love. Never hate. Let's keep this movement going! MACA Reads is more than a monthly virtual book club. It's a community committed to supporting Jewish authors, expanding our knowledge, engaging in meaningful conversations, and learning how to confront the hatred directed at our community. Through our shared history, genealogy, culture, traditions, and religious connection to the Land of Israel, we learn the truth, challenge misinformation, and equip ourselves with the knowledge and confidence to stand up against hate. Because education is empowerment. Knowledge is our strength. And silence is not an option. Our mission is simple: EDUCATE. EMPOWER. ENGAGE. We're here to ensure the next generation has the tools, confidence, and courage to stand proud in who they are and defend the truth. The conversation doesn't end when the book closes. It's just getting started! Join the movement. Keep reading. Keep learning. Keep speaking up. Last week, we had the honor of engaging in an incredible conversation with Shai Davidai during our MACA Reads discussion of his book, American Intellectual Antisemitism: The Anti-Jewish Movement Tearing Through Our Universities. What emerged was an insightful, thought-provoking conversation about the forces shaping antisemitism on college campuses, the power of ideas, and why understanding the movement is so important. Couldn't join us live? Now you can watch the ENTIRE conversation on YouTube! 🎥 Head over to our YouTube channel, 3Jewmoms (link in bio) and don't miss this one! Knowledge is power. Conversations matter. And the work continues. #shaidavidai #stopantisemitism #mothersagainstcollegeantisemitism #booksbooksbooks

I started Iron Dome Coffee right out of a cafe. ⠀ So when @shaidavidai asked why I chose coffee, there was a pretty personal answer. I’ve spent so much of my life in cafés, having conversations, working on ideas, figuring things out. ⠀ I wanted to build something around that feeling and our shared love for Israel. ⠀ We donate 18% of our profits to organizations supporting Israel. You can find our coffee on our website at IronDomeCoffee.com. ⠀ #IronDomeCoffee #ShaiDavidai #StandWithIsrael

Jewish and Israeli voices deserve to be heard on campus. ⠀ Shai talks about the pressure to stay quiet and what happens when people refuse to acknowledge the other side at all. ⠀ You can disagree with someone and still hear what they have to say. Trying to silence them is disgraceful. ⠀ More from my conversation with @shaidavidai. ⠀ #ShaiDavidai #StandWithIsrael #IronDomeCoffee

Read American Intellectual Antisemitism to understand how people like @abdulelsayed have rebranded Jew-hatred as social justice.

You’ve read about the antisemitism. You’ve seen the videos. What do you do now? ⠀ Shai says the most important part of his book comes in the afterword, when he turns to what we can actually do about it. ⠀ I wanted to hear more about that. It’s easy to keep reading, keep watching, and end up feeling even more helpless. I want these conversations to help us figure out where we can be useful. ⠀ More from my conversation with @shaidavidai. ⠀ #ShaiDavidai #AmYisraelChai #IronDomeCoffee

Antisemitism with a syllabus is still antisemitism. 🎙️ Join Jewish Alliance of Colorado for a live conversation with Shai Davidai about his book, American Intellectual Antisemitism—and the courage it takes to confront hatred when institutions excuse it. 📚 His book. Your questions. Live Q&A. 📅 Wednesday, December 16 ⏰ 5:30 PM MT 💻 Live on Zoom • Everyone welcome 🎟️ Be part of the conversation: https://givebutter.com/cja-the-jewish-bookshelf-american-intellectual-antisemitism-by-shai-davidai-eh8ojo

What are you good at, and what do you want to change? ⠀ Shai shared an idea from Rabbi Jonathan Sacks: draw a circle around your abilities, then another around what you want to change in the world. Look for where they overlap. ⠀ I like how practical that is. You can spend so much time wondering what your role should be that you never actually start. ⠀ What would be in your two circles? ⠀ @shaidavidai ⠀ #ShaiDavidai #RabbiJonathanSacks #IronDomeCoffee

The Los Angeles Review of Books commissioned @melissauchiyamawrites to interview @shaidavidai about his important new book American Intellectual Antisemitism. Then they canceled it because the editors believe vicious lies about him in the media. The same site published work *supporting* AZHM, the antizionist hate movement. This is the interview they killed. Read now and share widely! https://www.theystandcorrected.com/p/heres-the-interview-the-la-review

Shai’s grandmother wanted to become a doctor. Then she was told there were already enough Jews. ⠀ Shai told me about his grandmother Lydia, who was studying medicine in Romania in 1951. After being told she couldn’t continue, she left for Israel without speaking Hebrew. ⠀ It’s hard to imagine being forced to make that decision. Where do you go when the place you grew up tells you there’s no future for you there? ⠀ Thank you, @shaidavidai, for sharing her story with me. ⠀ #ShaiDavidai #AmYisraelChai #IronDomeCoffee

“People don’t need to be told what’s happening; people need to be shown what’s happening.”
⠀
Shai Davidai explains why he chose to tell his own story in this book. These are things he experienced, and he wants readers to understand what happened.
⠀
Antisemitism is easy to debate in the abstract. Hearing from someone who has actually faced it should mean something.

We donate 18% of our profits to organizations supporting Israeli soldiers, veterans, and first responders.

Am Yisrael Chai.
